Hey daggerwin, I farm in real life, Ihave moved bales around in a dump trailer, completely realistic 👍
Same, if we only need to move 2/3 bales we prefer to use the dump trailer as we don’t need to mess around with ropes/straps
@@razzledazzleracing32 I'm glad I'm Canadian, have not had to strap bales once in my life 😂
@@alexkroes6859 Yeah, I'm Canadian too. That's what the middle row on top is for. Other than that take the back roads or go on Sunday lol.
yeah same around my area, you dont want to know what is being moved with things not intended for it
In my area there Is a farmer that put Is bales in a self loading wagon
Don’t worry about putting the silage bales in the grain trailer perfectly realistic, all the crazy things I’ve done and things I’ve seen other farmers do😂
Ive seen that and ive seen a farmer go down the highway in his pickup with the tailgate down and 2 bales of straw in the bed.
This is an amzong series youve started Daggerwin. This seems special, and i greatly appreciate the effort you put into your videos. I hope you have a lovely day.
Just a bit of a , guess tip or what i personaly like to do when i play the most realistic, which i try to do all the time, but i tend to have days per month set to 3 or 6, so if there is bad weather or anything like that i skip days, And besides you can just skip right passed those days if theres nothing to do, but it gives you more headroom in case stuff like this should happen. (and its more realistic if u think about it 🤭)
Edit: Also whenever im in a newer type tractor which would have, or an older with retrofitted GPS / Mapping, i tend to leave the small minimap open in square whenever im in the feild
Loving this series. I usually just watch your survival series but it's really interesting to see you take a more realistic approach and not permit yourself to exploit every area of the game that isn't super realistic. And please don't worry about not progressing quickly. I think the slow paced progress actually keeps me more invested. It's farming after all!
Bravo for starting a series like this. There is no way to please everyone. Just enjoy and make it as realistic as you like! ✌️
Hey Daggerwin! Large tyres on a sprouted crop would absolutely crush them... so I think that if you can stomach the inevitable frustration when you drive onto a sprouted field without narrow tyres on, get Crop Destruction Plus! (Enables crop destruction at growth stage one, instead of being ignored. So if you ever want to drive on a sprouted crop, you need narrows!)
who spotted the flying deer ?
😂 yess
Yes , so realistic.
00:16
Yep. I'm a little late to this series. Been busy with life.
My only suggestion is we need more videos of this series in a week.
You need the maize plus mod and the animal feed addon for that mod. And in real life farming is about making money so you should be paying yourself a salary of 50k a year and because you have machines you also have to have insurance for them of something like 5% of the machine value a year. That will mean you need more land because no farm can run on having 3 tiny fields and thats where the field lease mod comes in as a very real thing farmers all over the world have to do. And then there is insurance of the farm buildings i would say about 10k a year for that. And then there is everyones favourite thing wich is tax so you need to decuct 35% of your income every year (because government cant be incompetent for free you know) wich again leads to needing more land and the field lease mod. all because farming is very expensive and you have to have a large production to have a chance to make it. And thats why the number of farms in real life have reduced so much the past 100 years. All the money i mention for tax wage and insurance you can remove with the easy dev conntrol mod as you well know.
@@JustMyFish Sure make it 30% then what im saying is just that if he want to make it real things like that must be included
Taking that loan, does not make sense to me. Yes, I would also prefer to own the spreader as soon as possible. But, instead of leasing it for 1295 you now pay 2600 every month! While you probably only need it once or twice and surely not in the winter months.
Love the series! I'm really glad I don't have to do the seeting myself, even the timelapse was long, LOL!
he will need it every time he wants to plant anything. so he needs it every single year at least if not multiple times a year. he now pays the 2600 for a year and then doesnt pay anything while he would have to pay 1300 + another 1300 for every next time he rents it + still the same price for when he eventually buys it. which makes your choice better i the short run but worse in the long run. and since he plays for the long run it acutally makes sense to just own it because it would get pretty expensive if you had to keep renting it
One farmer near us uses a dump trailer for feeding bales (transport) so it can be done realistically
19:11 when you’re driving over that most of that won’t come out
Thanks for a really great episode
loving this series, I am playing the game at the hardest mode possible as well as much realistic as I can with cutting some corners here and there :D and loving it.
The empty silo in front of your shed is a Karma 16. That is a container for seed and mineral feed only. So, probably, there are no seed bags on your farm because you can just fill the silo. Be careful, however: the trigger on this silo is small and not well positioned for some seeders.
Seed pallet outside fert shed i think @Daggerwin
No sir. Just for decoration
Guide discs on your seeder are super helpful IRL, you should give them a shot when you’re doing first person stuff you might light it🤷♂️
You could get the Pro seed mod giving you the ability to add tramlines, helps immensely with being more effecient with fertiliser as you set your tramlines knowing the working width of your spreader
39:46 I spotted a pellet of seeds outside of the shed were the JCB is at
Nope just for decoration
Dagger i loves this series and this map
Thank you so much for sharing!
Daggerwin you have other fields. Cut the grass and make silage bales.
he knows that. he said it multiple times in the other parts. he also said that he wants to finish this field first before the season for planting is over
Loving this series!
Hey daggerwin if you do read this I would love to see the survival challenge in fs22 like you did in fs19.
😇 love this channel
0:16 random flying deer top left corner.
seen people put bales into a grain trailer on many occasions!
a real farmer cultivates after plowing
the seed is in the form of a pallet and next to the shed where you keep the drill
I like the fairhead map😃😃😃😃😃😃
Is that seed on the pallet between the 2 back sheds? Where the seeder is being stored?
👍
I bet backing out of the store gate, because they turn sharper when backwards
You can get night, vision, goggles at the mod placê
It feels like you missing out at the second hand market, there are many more mods for older equipment that is just as good also you have something to add more stuff to the second hand market
given that 24 hours is 1 month, it took you about 3 and a half days to plant that field lol
I know you like stars and I found a map that has them. Taheton County 4x.
At 18 seconds in the video i saw an animal in the sky
What was that mod where you can move in the cab to see more, thanks
I have worked for a farmer and he will not put silage bales on a flatbed trailer. He will only put them in trailers like that.
theres a floating deer at 0:18😂
I wonder if there is a mod in which you only get wool once a year when its shearing time
😂
ok cows arent worth it in the farm world unless they are feeder cattle because then you feed them for 3x the money of silage
I have use in real life tipper for bales 😅 great vid
Why didn’t you do the planning the long way make it less time for you?
I would turn off overcrowding. It plummets the animals health to zero which will stop wool production and reproduction. It also makes the animals worth even less. Or maybe that’s realistic? You should also consider having more than one day months. How often does weather completely ruin an entire months worth of work?
I created this map it is soo fun to play
When are you transferring the money from the last series to this one dag
he is not. thats a realistic series where he wants to start from the beginning.
The fuel system is so off. You should have to refill it daily and even at night when its a long day.
Dag please use the old realism is key intro
Can you get the gps mod it is realistic cause there is guidance in tractors
When is the next survival roleplay vid
Wish you could remove some fences
please make a mod list
🧦 - Dobby Approved Video - 🧦
Maybe turning off the mini map is more realistic
Open doors like in real life bc it doesnt look realistic when you exit out of tractors
What happened to survival role play
hey whats happening with Survival roleplay is this series dead?
Hey. daggerwin got. trailer. is. Red
Your sheep are already pregnant, they will give birth in 2 months (sheep take 5 months per birth).
Second comment
not so realistic when your driving to/from store or feeding sheep in 3person
First comment
You should play with 28 days per month
First comment 🎉
Can you put manure system/mazie plus /cut open bales and unload unfinished bales mods pls
Ok what did we learn today daggerwin sucks at running a drill not using markers and totally drilling the wrong way you don't do it like your plowing were you work your way inside out you would have nothing to base your rows of you do headlands 4 passes probably with that and then down and backs
@@djstuc welcome to America
@@djstuc😂
Loving the longer videos, takes me back to the Haut Beyleron days
Definitely. Longer videos and slower gameplay. It's nice to not have Daggerwin frantically jumping between things and forgetting what he was planning!
Haet Beyleron was my favourite series as well. Nice to see daggerwin just chilling and enjoying the game again. Gonna try and stick around for this one.
Haut Beyleron was one of my favorite series along with Silverrun.
Speaking of Silverrun I would love a rags to riches Silverrun series. I am currently engaged in a R2R playthrough on Silverrun (started with very cheap vehicle around 2k in price and a placeable caravan that I am assuming I have borrowed from the guy who told me about the roller coaster build contract). I am playing with the lease a business mod to help things along, although I haven't actually leased anywhere yet. Mainly I am doing other contract work to gather enough money together. Still only in October of year 1 so not a lot to my name.
I did buy a plot of land (opposite the sawmill you can't buy) so I could place the caravan ... but my rule is I have to deduct the cost of the plot from my bank balance before I can use it.
if you have an issue with getting things out of the store etc then you could get the store deliveries mod where you pay a little extra for whatever you buy to be delivered to wherever you set it to
Wtf is your profile picture 😂😂
@@alex-q8-q9 dw abt it
This series is great. Glad you’re feeling better. The content lately has been fantastic!
Dag would you consider using the mod that has specific seeds for different crops? (i.e. canola seed and wheat seed, etc) maybe if somebody sees this comment who knows the name of the mod on mod hub can comment the name under my comment
[edited] animal food calculator is also nice because it shows you how much food they eat per day which helps you plan how much to feed them. Would be cool if you did something similar to real life where you feed them enough for the day first thing every morning just like my grandpa always did with his cows.
@@midwesternfarmer615 it's animal feed calculator which shows you how much they are eating not enhanced
That’s a bloody brilliant idea mate
@@TomoT007 yeah I got on this morning to edit my comment 😅 found out last night
British slang lol
the day just gets a bit better when Daggerwin uploads
He uploads every day but I agree 👍
Dag, this series reminds me so much of Clarkson’s farm (NOT A HATE COMMENT :) ) but it’s the comedy and first animals are sheep sooo
definitely need a wind mill or solar panels so like selling your electric monthly n that
Switch off the stones.. it is totally unrealistic the way they are implemented in farminh simulator.. you dont have stones on every field.. you also.have stony areas.. not stones everywhere on a field
Cut the other fields, bale them and sell the bales to get some money in again, remember the price for silage is best in January
Since you're running Precision Farming, it would be totally ok to put the mini-map on while fertilising and applying lime. A farmer would have a similar display inside his tractor, showing where he has been and not. Also on bigger fields, the Guidance Steering (GPS) mod would be realistic. (But I know you don't like to use it)
Thats 15k
i am such a big fan and i play on Fairhead you are the best and i think you will get more money with the sheep because you can sell them
Loving this series daggerwin great move this one 👏👏👏
I think you are doing just fine sir, anyone so obsessed with you not doing every little detail as real life should get a life. It's a video game for petes sake! Keep up the good work sir
why does this guy's voice remind me of Charlie From 'Clarkson's Farm'
the seed pallet is in front of the shed where you finished off. orange bags.
Those aren't seeds. Just a pallet for decoration
40 minutes!? my man!
I’ve never enjoyed playing in 1st person view but since this series started I’ve been doing it and starting to like it.
lol the comment about you'd never see a farmer put bales in that trailer has obviously never met a farmer lol. Farmers jimmy rig anything and everything to get the job done.
Fairhead is based on a real area of Northern Ireland on the North Coast, similar area as the North Coast map from FS19
Very narrow roads on fairhead
What a beautiful view and sunset 😍😍😍😍😍
What was the mod that he used for the mud last episode
The mud system
Daggerwin please the gear range (L-M-H) or the second gear stick can only be switched when you are at a full halt, you can not switch from low to high whilst driving, i have a friend farmer that said that, also one of his workers broke his tractor that way😂
is he shifting manually though? or does he have the game set to automatically shift?
Most farmers IRL will not directly seed into a plowed field but will cultivate it first, directly seeding into a plowed field beats your equipment up and would be terrible ground to seeder contact and probably result in poor planting/seeding.
I just can't stand auto shift, when i play; it just never shifts when it needs to be efficient.
I've just started to work on this map. Still grass work to do too.
I saw a farmer put 3 round bales in the back of a dumb truck. Not ideal but also not unrealistic
Best of your series so far. Exactly my style of gameplay.
I think you should you turn stones off. They’re not that realistic because every time you come to cultivate, you’ll just pull all of them up again.
Does this map have any new/custom crops? Like alfalfa or something like that?
i would like to see alfalfa bc my dad farms alfalfa and soon one day i will also like if giants added pivots. i wonder if they can make it an option to add watering your field like you could flood water it or have a pivot or just wait for rain and if you put your mouse on your field it would show what percentage the water is like if it needs watered or not.Would you like to have that and do you agree with me?
@@ashlyhigbee7917 yeah man! 😉
@@rastohurray4945 yeah it would be cool
