"George Meredith caught all this in the great gorse stanza in 'Juggling Jerry', where he described an old man relishing familiar scenes and scents" Yonder came smells of the gorse, so nutty, Gold-like and warm: it's the prime of May. Wonderful sunset! It reminds me of a sunset I watched from the top of Gaustatoppen (6,178 ft) in Norway some years ago. It's an isolated mountain with panoramic views.

I went up the steeple last year after decending from Cnoc Connich. After purchasing and reading a certain fellas informative and easy to understand booklet.
That pink glow was amazing! We had a similar experience on a hike earlier this year - it was quite something to be surrounded by such a pink glow! I never tire of seeing the Scottish landscape - it's so nice to be able to get views from even small hills when it's cloudy.
Sometimes you have to go out and clear the week out of your head..rain or shine I can imagine how pink the sky was and even though day 2 was grey, the landscape is still beautiful Another nice video and take care 🇨🇦❤️

My internet wonky lately I went to the local library to watch 2 of your recent Northern Lights adventures because Miles O'Brien of PBS NewHour science team said until 2025 or so these events will be more common. Thanks again for another great vid Murray.

I thought he was missing a trick when I seen you on a busy Saturday at the Cobbler car park a few months ago. He could have sold box loads out the back of his car!! He did let slip that he might have another book in the pipeline, which is definitely something to look forward to. Hope to bump into you on the hills again sometime soon 👍P.S. what is the funky footwear Gerry had on?
Murray is the best salesman... he is all I need to flog the wee book. As for the funky feet..Salomon, super comfy and good treads ..but not for anything beyond a path tbh, ..cheers!

You quite often find that gorse smells of coconut on the south side of the bush, where the sun is on it lingers.

saw a pest in your van it got in with you it was put out for yourself by others it gave a finger salute .

It’s a wonderful experience - being inside a pink cloud before the conditions changed :) glad I headed back up to the summit :)
