Soon he returns to the ground, following his father’s footprints once again. Further on, he might forget how deep the snow is and repeat the act of trying to forge his own path. This happens many times. Every time, he gets stuck. Every time, his father picks him up and brings him back to the path that the child could never have made for himself. Finally, the boy gets tired, and his father carries him, sleeping, the rest of the way. Hours later, the boy wakes up in a warm cabin, wishing he had just asked his father to carry him the whole way.

God made a path for us to follow, (the path being a way to live life) we (his children) may or may not follow Him. Those who don't follow the path He made for us may end up being stuck in life or even lost, or not being able to fix their problems (or find a solution). My glorious Lord, you call me back to such a simple time.

Over the past few weeks ive been extremely depressed due to a number of things going on in my life. Everything has felt empty and its been hard to enjoy music even which has been my passion forever. i remember back to childhood. i remember the dirt piles next to the driveway and how i would turn them in to grand castles. i remember asking my mom where my shoes were so i could jump off the roof like my big brother just did. i remember walking in the backyard with my dad exploring streams and treading through the forest. it was so magical to me, even though it was just my backyard. i remember letting my older brother throw toy cars at me and not even be bothered by it. i was always told i was only joyful as a child. i’d only wanted to find joy. i was never about fighting or arguing. i was a quiet baby, they said i never cried. i remember a time when my life was poetry in action. and in my eyes all you could find was a life of only knowing love. fearless. loving. My glorious Lord, you call me back to such a simple time.
This is the song that you put on in you or your partners’ final days, weeks, or even final moments, where you both know that one of you won’t be able to make it much longer, but you’ve come to peace with that. I sat there, with an empty heart. While everyone around was expressing how warm the music was to their hearts, I just sat there, totally emotionless. It was a curse for me feeling nothing, or..was it a bless? I'm not sure anymore. The music was beautiful indeed. However, it could not reach my heart. I could not feel anything, be it sad or happy. I just sat there, focusing on the title... it's ok.

Thank you for just “it’s ok”. Little words like that is all I need to hear right now, I don’t need the whole speech of “it’s fine you’re okay blah blah blah” I just need... “it’s ok..”. I need to be hugged so tightly I can barely breath, and I all I can hear is the words “it okay, I’m here with you” that’s all I need to hear, for now I’ll stay here laying down in my bed hugging my pillow, as I listen to the pianos notes telling me a story of how it’ll be okay as it comforts me with every single note, not everyone can understand the feeling of someone telling you a story even though there’s no words, and I hope people learn that just so when they feel alone they can listen to the notes of a song and realize, that they’re never alone.

When I hear this song it puts a visual in my head. I'm sitting under a big oak tree with the waning sunlight shining down on the world giving everything a majestic glow. Even I seem to be glowing. A breeze blows the grass I'm sitting in but the wind is not cold and the grass is not scratchy. The air is warm and the grass is soft. The sky is clear and I know that after the sun sets the stars will come out. No one is here. No worries are welcome. It's just me and the big oak and the grass and the fields. I lay there just loving the peace. Not thinking.

Over the past few weeks ive been extremely depressed due to a number of things going on in my life. Everything has felt empty and its been hard to enjoy music even which has been my passion forever.
