    its 8:44pm, November 7, 2024.
    me and my wife are building towers with the giant sized jenga blocks with our 3 year old daughter. The air is full of laughs and joy in the stillness of this fleeting moment. i turned on the BT speaker, and this video caught my eye.
    this will forever be the sound track to this memory.
    thank you for this🤝🏼

    For five years I've been a classical/jazz pianist, and its not very often I listen to slow music that really focuses on musicality, and not so much of the intense rush you get when listening to chops and fast runs or arpeggios with accidentals that make the piece glisten or screech how you want it too. It really opens my eyes on how I should approach my compositions

    • @BabyAteMeDingo
      @BabyAteMeDingo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fascinating take. I've never really thought about how the classical/jazz style made people feel when they enjoyed it, as I am much more into this slow, soulful type of piano music (not to discredit your taste, ofc. to each their own :) )

      @@theinvisibleman-e8v I play fast, very sporadic types of songs, his songs don't have any chops (no area of skill) a lot of beginners can learn his pieces because they're very slow and calm, he's not popular because he's very skilled at piano, which he could be. But he's popular because the notes he chooses on the piano sound good together and are beautiful.

      @@theinvisibleman-e8v can be so, but also can be the case of making all the sense in the world - sometimes
      It just takes the crazy and unpredictable concoction of years of walking the music path together with life experiences roller coaster to realize this simple truth

    As impressive as your phenomenal playing are your recording skills - there's something very unique about your camera angle compared to other pianists on TH-cam and the mixing / mastering you do with those mics really makes your playing feel intimate or immediate, like I'm in the room. Thanks for sharing your talent and creative vision :)

    There have been times in my life where I havent been able to get my hands on a piano for months. Truly discouraging times indeed. I'm currently having one of those seasons where there is just no piano to be played anywhere. It is only the absence of the insturent that made me realize how magical a piano actually is. Just the thought of playing again makes my fingers shrivel with excitement.

    🅿︎🅾︎🆅: 𝚁𝚎𝚊𝚍 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝙱𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝙼𝚒𝚕𝚔
    You’re a pianist that’s growing depressed. The love of your life had just passed away due to a sickness she couldn’t be treated for in time. She was one of the only few people who genuinely appreciated your work.
    So day after day, you sit through hours of playing music for a person who no longer exists. You hoped the painful notes echoed through time until it reached your lovers resting soul.
    It got to the point where you didn’t pay attention to your pianos tuning. So the tune grew worse and more dysfunctional as time went on and the weather grew more cold.
    Your newest composition was a eulogy in the making. But what you didn’t realize back then was this piece would also become a suicide note, your last message to the world full of heartbreak and lost hope.
