its 8:44pm, November 7, 2024. me and my wife are building towers with the giant sized jenga blocks with our 3 year old daughter. The air is full of laughs and joy in the stillness of this fleeting moment. i turned on the BT speaker, and this video caught my eye. this will forever be the sound track to this memory. thank you for this🤝🏼
As impressive as your phenomenal playing are your recording skills - there's something very unique about your camera angle compared to other pianists on TH-cam and the mixing / mastering you do with those mics really makes your playing feel intimate or immediate, like I'm in the room. Thanks for sharing your talent and creative vision :)
I feel for things are hard for me things are hard harder than its ever been for me personally but i know thanks to you I’m not alone i hope with all my heart things are doing better for you. And if no one has told you today…… i love you
For five years I've been a classical/jazz pianist, and its not very often I listen to slow music that really focuses on musicality, and not so much of the intense rush you get when listening to chops and fast runs or arpeggios with accidentals that make the piece glisten or screech how you want it too. It really opens my eyes on how I should approach my compositions
Fascinating take. I've never really thought about how the classical/jazz style made people feel when they enjoyed it, as I am much more into this slow, soulful type of piano music (not to discredit your taste, ofc. to each their own :) )
@@theinvisibleman-e8v I play fast, very sporadic types of songs, his songs don't have any chops (no area of skill) a lot of beginners can learn his pieces because they're very slow and calm, he's not popular because he's very skilled at piano, which he could be. But he's popular because the notes he chooses on the piano sound good together and are beautiful.
@@theinvisibleman-e8v can be so, but also can be the case of making all the sense in the world - sometimes It just takes the crazy and unpredictable concoction of years of walking the music path together with life experiences roller coaster to realize this simple truth 🫶🏼
Listening to this whilst fighting a fever, cant put a finger on why, but at the moment, piano music is the only kind that so far during this sickness hasn't let me down.
There have been times in my life where I havent been able to get my hands on a piano for months. Truly discouraging times indeed. I'm currently having one of those seasons where there is just no piano to be played anywhere. It is only the absence of the insturent that made me realize how magical a piano actually is. Just the thought of playing again makes my fingers shrivel with excitement.
Ich sitze gerade in meinem Wohnwagen, der kleine Holzofen ist an, die Kerzen brennen und draußen regnet es. Bin froh deinen Kanal gefunden zu haben. Deine Musik tut so gut.
I always loved the feeling of learning something new because as you grow older it seems that most of what is taught is just renditions of the things you have already learned. Listening to you play invokes this same feeling. To put it simply, your music is very refreshing.
I keep putting this on so I can write and then falling asleep. Not a complaint. I come back to your videos often but hardly ever comment, and today I just wanted to say hello, and thank you.
It's easy to forget this is a live performance when I just put it on in the background to write. The performance is flawless! Thank you for scoring my writing session, friend.
"Cartwheels" is giving me Vesuvius by David Lanz vibes. One of my favorite pieces by him and I enjoyed the similarities/relation between the two. Thanks for putting this music out!
I've never felt such homely feeling watching a video Thank you for emptying my mind and making me refresh again Have not felt such comfort even though I was exhausted a few minutes ago Thank you so much
You absolutely nailed the introduction..just phenomenal. Bless the algorithm this day for i have found you, and you have gained a fan keep up the incredible work
Thank you truly for your music, I always come back to it for therapeutic reasons; to feel good, comforted, seen and heard. You are a marvellous pianist, a wonderful composer, I wish you the very best ibi ❤
I love you’re compositions! They are amazing! I compose music too since I’m 12 years old. And it’s beautiful to see people who has the same talent like me. You inspired me to compose more music :) thanks a lot!

You're right, the mixing & mastering are really really good. Cartwheels sounds incredible, so well rounded here.
Im sure he is a sound guy, besides being pianist

He can allow more space. Virtuoso pieces require a lot of head movement
Wow I’ve been watching your first “10 minimal pieces” as a background for studying everyday. This is a very welcomed surprise. Thanks Ibi!
Me too mate, almost everyday i let playing music like this on my pc while i study and work at home!
