This channel is so overly underrated. It deserves a million subscribers already. The way Tara is just so helpful and have always been she deserves so so so much more. Much love to you girl. You are more than a blessing.
Exactly!!! I've been struggling to start a body scrub line for a few months now and nobody is as informative like this lady over here. I just found her channel and I'm binge watching with a notebook and pen
Tara, you are one special gift I've given myself on finding and following you on TH-cam. You are amazing and skillful and ready to share freely. Thank you very much💕
Ok you convinced me with that beautiful large propeller and the large batch size! I have the cheaper one you shared a while back but haven't taken it out of the box yet. Just did the amazon return. I look forward to making products with sucragel
oh yes sucragel! you just reminded me I bought more a month ago and need to make something with it. lol But, yes this machine is beautiful and I'm so excited to use it for my large batches.
I really like wen you make videos of your equipment. I literally just buy one and it was because of your review.I was afraid to buy the wrong machine. Thank you Tara.
I just discovered your channel a couple an hour ago and I want to say thank you inadvance. Your channel is so informative, I've set a launch date for my body scrub line 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 and I'll be a patron very soon
thank you so much! I'm really glad you are enjoying my channel. And thanks for wanting to sign up for my patreon too. You're the best. Also, best of luck with your business. You will do great 😊
TaraLee, thank you so much for sharing this amazing machine with us! I large batches of hair care products and mixing by hand is getting difficult ! Definitely adding this to my list! I most certainly will tell the company ; Tara, sent me!
Hi Tara! Your videos are amazing it really helped me A LOT! You're the reason why I started my small business. I just wanted to ask if the equipment you used in the video can help dissolve iron oxide in making tinted lip balm. Thank you so much!
it isn't an immersion blender although I've talked to people who have had success using it for emulsions. It is for more medium to large batches. Since it has such a large propeller it won't work well with beakers 500 ml and under. I'm sure you could buy smaller propellers to use with it though. I haven't looked into that yet.
Hi Tara Lee, thank you for all that info. An overhead stirrer is next on my list to get. I recently made a deep conditioner, allowed it to sit for a day before placing in a jar but the dc exploded out of the jar after a few days. I'm guessing it's because of air incorporated in the mixture with my immersion blender. Do you think this might be the reason? It also happened with a shampoo I made. Definitely don't want this happening again so I want to get a stirrer.
It exploded? Wait, what? I've never had a product explode before. So it went like *poof* lol I'm so confused as to why this may have happened to both products. Usually if there is to much air it just deflates and you have empty space left in your jar or bottle. Also, you shouldn't be using an immersion blender with a shampoo recipe, it shouldn't need one. As for the Deep conditioner. When mixing it for the emulsions stop mixing it once it starts to thicken. Just hand mix it after it starts to thicken.
@@TaraLeee lol yes the lid popped out and the product spilled out of the closed container. Now I'm concerned since you have never heard of such. I'm wondering whether there could be another reason.
@@ChristsChemist hi, thank you for responding. The common ingredients in both products are hibiscus, hydrolysed protein, vitamin e, and germall Plus. Don't think any of these would be the issue. This is why I am thinking that it could be air from the immersion blender. What are your thoughts ?
hi, i want to know if you can get to replace with a different stirring rod of varying propellers. this is to shift from a low, medium and high shear. I believe the intensity of shear is not related to rpms and more of the type of propeller used.
Sounds like you want a homogenizer. That is a high shear mixer. This is just a propeller mixer that doesn’t mix emulsions. For emulsions you want a homogenizer
I’m sorry I’m a bit confused tara , what exactly does this machine mix ? I’m trying to get one but I want the right one for conditioners, hair masks , emulsified butters . Can this mix creams? Does this work like an immersion blender or do I still need an immersion blender even with this ?
@@TaraLeee Very nice Sorry, should have asked this as well.. How is for oil and water Emulsion to form lotion Someone commented saying overhead stirrer doesn't do the job, homogenizer is better to have, pls clear this up for me as I have been debating for some time which to get
So much vibration. The head is visibly offset/bent. I would expect for this kind of equipment to be balanced. This will shorten the life of stirrer as well (bearings, motor). Video is very informative and easy to understand and follow. 😊
Hello Tara, I have a problem and I need help. I want to open a small business to make body butter and body scrub, but after I do the calculations, the cost is high, and I do not think that the price will be acceptable, and I do not know what to do, although the cost is only the prices of the materials without any profit. To start making 1000 grams of body butter and I can save the materials, but I can't make any profits.
Unfortunately start up costs are expensive. What I recommend doing if this is a concern, as it was a concern for me too. Just do this as a hobby at first. Slowly buy the things you need as you need them and build up an inventory of tools and ingredients slowly. do this before you even plan on launching. I made cosmetics for about 2 years before I even planned on opening a business so when I started my business I already had a lot of equipment and ingredients I needed to start up so my start up costs were lower. Take things slow. I know it sucks because it's hard to have patience but it's so worth it and it's less stressful because you won't be in as much debt. baby steps are the way to go. Best of luck with everything 🥰

I have one very similar to this from Amazon. Absolutely love & cannot love without it 😍😍
they are amazing!
I have the same one, just a different brand, and I love it. I also use it for the cooldown of emulsions.
Oh yes! I should of mentioned that. It’s perfect to mix in your cool down phase. Thanks for mentioning that 😊
Thank you so much for being here Tara… have you or do you use a magnetic stirrer? If so can you report on this one as well?
Is this for high and medium immersion mixing as well, for smaller batches, like for creams? If so what rpm would you use for each

Thanks you for your content, is it used to make emulsions?
Hi tara. Have you tried using the stirrer from your other machine to this? Does it fit? Im wondering if small stirrers would work on this. Thanks!
Off topic-your nails look amazing 😻
Ahhhh thanks 🥰

It could have something to do with the ingredients. Is there a common ingredient(s) being used in both products?

This equipment is beautiful!!! I love it 😍 wish they gave you a coupon code!
Same! If they ever do I’ll be sure to share it.
Hi Tara
Can you tell me what u use for Emulsion.
Hey dear I have it too I get mine last year May and I love it 😍
so glad you love it!
Can this also be used for regular water and oil emulsions instead of using a hand held emulsion blender?
I've talked to people who have had good experiences using this to mix their emulsions. You can give it a go.

@TaraLee hi tara ❤😘. Please tell me how to mix kojic acid in lotion

Curious if this is better than using something like a Kitchenaid mixer? Trying to cut down on the number of machines I have in my tiny workspace. :)
A kitchenaid is better for whipping products, like scrubs and body butters & this machine does better with mixing.
Very helpful, thank you!
