An actual double boiler is done without the heat source coming in contact with the container of oils. Super important to maintain the antioxidants & other actives in the oils. With your set up, u could fold a washcloth & place it in the bottom of the pan & but the glass beaker on top of it. Nifty trick I picked up from a friend....

I’ve actually recreate the cerave body lotion on my Patreon once. It’s now my favorite body lotion formula I’ve ever made too. I definitely plan on recreating a really popular product on my channel soon too. It’s not cetaphil or a cerave product though. I do think it’s a great idea to start recreating popular products though 😊 I definitely am going to try doing this more

I've been formulating using ingredients from the Brazilian Rainforest for a while now its sad to me how its now trendy but big companies actually don't source ingredients in a way that sustains the forest and the indigenous nation's. I source mine directly from the tribal locals for a price that helps them provide for their families and hold onto their lands.

Tara this was sooo much fun to watch! I like these type of videos. Being a formulator, I enjoy watching others processes and seeing what everyone is up too! You certainly are busy. I'm sure this was filmed over a couple of days, but I understand how bust things can be!

I can't speak for murumuru even though I'm pretty sure it's pronounced how it's spelled (mur-roo-mur-roo) but cupuacu is definitely pronounced (coo-pwah-soo) I hope that helped :)
