Thanks Cooper! Love these dives into some of the lesser known features and tricks.

Well interesting feature that I have not used. Kind of wonder why the snapshots cannot be loaded as 'Scenes' to be used without the editor. Similar to the Helix snapshots method. In that case there is little to no lag when going from one snapshot to the next in snapshot mode. While that is similar to scenes and channels, it does seem to be an easier method of storing and accessing your scene settings within a certain preset. Any thoughts?

New to the Fractal world, I was losing my mind without the Undo. Snapshots is great. Thanks for the video explanation

Thank you. Nice feature. I’ve had mine less than a month and had not discovered this feature yet. This takes the apprehension away of diving into tweaking for sure.

I've had Fractal gear for years and never heard of this. Thanks!

I like that in the Kemper it tells me what the knob was originally set at so I can quickly make adjustments and get back to the original setting. This seems nice but has more steps and a bit of a different use.

This is just like the "Previous Versions" in Windows, for say a Word File, when you right click on it. Every time you save a file it creates a previous version automatically.. Works exactly the same way. Thanks for the info! This is great.

Thanks Cooper - really appreciated this - it was me that was asking about it & this has really helped! My FM3 arrived yesterday, so perfect timing too!

Extremely useful feature. This should be standard on any amp modeler/multi-effect.

I've been using the Axe-Fx (II and then III) for nearly 9 years and have never explored the Snapshot feature. I'll definitely be using it now. Thanks for the great tip, Cooper!

So simple, but total genius feature, thanks for flagging it up.

This is going to work out good for me. I end up dumping all my good tweaks and starting over agin because of some bad tweaks.

Thanks Cooper. I’ve seen it there before but was never quite sure how it worked.

That is a great feature. Perhaps a good use for it would be to take snapshots of favorite unaltered factory and third party presets before experimenting with the preset’s settings and resaving the preset. That way, if I decide my setting choices didn’t really improve the sound, I could just load the snapshot of the unaltered preset as opposed to importing it. I haven’t tried it yet to see if that would save me time though.

Holy crap, I wish I knew about this feature long ago. Nice! Thanks for covering this topic. Let me ask, can you make sub folders with the snapshot folder? So that you could organize or group them logically.

Snapshots are nice but I still think a traditional Undo/Redo would be very useful.

Would we ever see a Snapshot Layout? To give us all the seamless settings changes without having to use SC, CS, and modifiers? Just change settings, hit snapshot, rinse and repeat?

Very cool, but so wish the Fractal scenes could do this so it worked the way helix does, where literally any change can be recalled by scene switch. No limitations based on controllers, etc.

It's a great feature but doesn't really replace an undo button as you might want to reverse from a mistake that was unintentional and you haven't saved a snapshot yet.

Is there a way to take and recall a snapshot from my FM9's panel, as long as it's connected by USB to FM9 Edit? I often have the FM9 in one room and the computer in another.
Thinking probably not, but would be a great enhancement. Even better if the feature could operate as a standalone option, without connection to a computer.

How can I change snapshots with footswitch?

nice feature from fractal! but the biggest issue for me is the software editor kind of laggy switch between preset or on off effect compare to line 6 editor.
Hope they would fix it in future update.

Hey man, love your content! Quick question. I'm doing some quad tracking with my OMG9 and I want to save 4 presets for the rhythm guitar so that I can make nuances to each one for a fuller sound in the mix. Is there a way to do that? Right now if I go to a different preset and hit load snapshot it just takes me back to the same preset. Any assistance helps. Thanks :)

and of course I find the answer 2 seconds later lol. I can save to a new preset number. You guys have thought of everything! XD
