Love the pockets you made. It inspired me to make them and I was so excited how they came out. Can’t thank you enough for all the videos and ideas you share with all of us. Enjoy your sweet Bucky when he comes. Such a precious baby 😊❤️
How fun to be preparing for little Bucky's visit. I loved making burp cloths from cloth diapers. You can use all the fun stitches on your machine. The diapers are more durable and can be washed time after time. These pockets and tags are great fun Gayle. I loved that adorable carrot shaped bunny tag too. He will be a sweet little surprise at the end of your book. I've missed several of your videos and have to catch up.
Hi Gayle!! First of all, I hope you have a wonderful visit with your new grandson, daughter and son-in-law!! Awesome pockets and tags!! TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
OMG that bunny tag was perfect, I loved it teehee they all turned out fantastic will have to make some :) thank you once again for sharing and I love watch your videos …. see you tomorrow :)
Gayle all of your pockets came out just delightful! My favorite of course is the bunny especially since you put the Bunny tag in it!! you know another idea if those packets are too long if you fold the end up to the front you have another pocket. TFS ❣️🍂🍁🍂
When you didn't know what to do with the tag for the cottage TN, I said you should use one of your border strips and darned if you didn't. Pretty funny. Love these pockets. So easy to do too. Bunny tag was just too cute!
Just absolutely love your videos! I'm glad I found you! I love that you are a "neat & clean" crafter! I'm that way too, always cleaning up after myself!
I made four of your pockets with the folds going in different directions. I also did one where instead of folding the little triangle in, I folded it out and then glued only the bottom of the folded triangle. Makes a tiny 'secret' triangular pocket for itsy-bitsy private messages. Also, you could put a paper 'pad' on the inside to get even more real estate out of it. Thanks for the idea.
Hi gorgeous Gayle, just got some time to venture into TH-cam and visit with you and absolutely loved watching your crafting process. You are so cool, fun and inspiring. Loved how you made the pockets your own, they just turned out amazing. I thought that style of pocket would be great as a pen or pencil holder...so thanks for sparking off a spin off idea for me. Take care...Lots of happiness and hugs. xx
Maybe try using a corner punch on the bottom of a tag to help it fit in the pocket? i luv using stamp pads to color the re-enforce holes-super quick process. that bunny tag...... how perfect and adorable! have a great visit with little Bucky and his mommy & daddy!! 😍
Love these pockets!!! I’ll have to go like each of the references you mentioned! I was thinking also you could fold the angled pocket out (instead of into the pocket) and use that as a design element also while eliminating the chance of it catching on the tag on removal! Thank you for sharing! So love watching you video daily. I’ve totally rearranged my work day (we work from home) so that I can catch you right away each day so that I don’t miss a thing! Lol 😂 Learning so much from you and the people you reference!
I can't wait till you gift that journal to me! Oh nuts, did I say that out loud? Lol. I like it more every time I see it. Thank you for the inspiration! Hugs. ;-)
WR Memory Keepers has a hole reinforcement punch. I use it to make coordinating reinforcements as well as regular hole reinforcements. It works very well.
Looking good Gayle, bet you cant wait to see little Bucky :D A little tip for you,I always store my glue upside down in a small vase, saves the faff of shaking the glue to the tip lol.
Those new pockets are so cool. Love finding new ways to add interest into our journals. Does it have a name? Bunny journal is COOL and that carrot-shaped bunny tag ...so perfect!
♪♪ It's my birthday and i'll watch Gayle if I want to ♪♪ Wait, I watch you all the time, birthday or not lol you're amazing! And I had an exciting find last evening at the thrift store... I found the biography of Edith Holden, the same one you got for your birthday, so excited! :P
Love these pockets....tried making one while watching you....turned out awful!!!! Not quite as easy as it looks!!! The folding part that is!!! LOL!!! But that was just my first try.....I'll get better!!!! But am loving yours and all the little journals are looking so adorable!!!
Thanks Gayle...I am back coffee dyed fabric and gauze then some Halloween tags and now having coffee and lunch with you🐇❤️love the tall things you are doing now❤️
I was so happy when you put the carrot tag at the back of the book -- something fun to see at the end! Gayle, why don't you put your Fabric Tac upside down in a mug? Since you only put a hole in the paper stopper, it wouldn't all spill out like it would if you completely removed the stopper.
A little tip at the end of my glue stick is to use the corner of a credit card to scrape out the remaining glue and spread it with the card. It’s surprising how much glue is still in there.
How do you get those fun stains(7 minutes into video) when coffee dying? I've been experimenting with different papers but not getting the results I'm looking for.
@@gayleagostinelli_ct oh you bake them? I air dry mine. When I pull them from the coffee bath I kinda drain them. No puddles form. That's why I'm not getting the results I'm looking for.
Great idea for helping tags fit into pockets -- this is not my idea; I saw it on Jeanette's channel, Mi Cottage Crafts. She uses a corner rounder on the bottom two corners of tags, and she's right, they just slip right through. These are all so so so cute. Am so envious of the new baby coming for a visit -- I have four baby kittens -- wanna trade for a day or two? LOL !! And oh, the bunny tag -OMG -- cutest thing ever !!!
I had to tell you that since I started watching your videos last week, my first junk journal is already a fatty. But that didn't stop me from making one of these and try to fit it in my j.j. My next j.j. will have to be a huge novel unless I learn how to control my crafty stuffing. Do you have a facebook group? Would love to share and see pictures.

I don’t think the pockets have a name. At least I didn’t hear it referred to on any of the videos I watched. ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct thank you. Maybe I'll call it Tina's pocket flip... or something like that, for my own reference point.
The ring binder bunny pocket with the happy mail tag is soooo cute.
Bunny tag was made to fit. The pockets look great.

Gayle Agostinelli Thank so much Gayle🥰
Don't forget those "ziggy zaggy" scissors you bought at the estate sale. Those work great when you have skinny sides of paper you need to zig zag. :)
Fun, fun, fun! Thanks.
Don’t forget to ink the inside of that last pocket you did in this video! You glued it in before you inked it all. These are so fun
Looks like it’s time for franken paper or snippets?! You sound so happy! Have a great visit!

OMG!!! I just love that bunny tag. What a cute idea!! Have to make some of these pockets!❤️
What did you do to that spiral paper notebook? I love how the paper turned out!!
It was a gift but all coffee dyed and ready to go! I brush coffee on notebook paper and it’s wonderful to use on tags and such! ❤️
Saw your scraps and squirrel, going to pause while I scan in a doily placed on a piece of dotted Swiss, pause see you later❤️
Thanks Gayle...I am back coffee dyed fabric and gauze then some Halloween tags and now having coffee and lunch with you🐇❤️love the tall things you are doing now❤️
You're using up book pages, fabric ephemera and paper from your tablet on these cute pockets! Win, win!
Love the carrot tag

Awesome tip! Thanks!
if you round the bottom corners the little points wont get caught on the stitching'

Dana Desmond I did that as well the prefolded work the best.
