I am constantly amazed at how well you know the name of each paper collection and where it came from. Even the labels come to your immediately. You know exactly what you want and who made it. This is just another indication of your commitment to your friends and fellow crafters.
I was going to say you should take it back in but.... We just love that you craft with us. It gives us company, inspiration, a dose of common sense some days, and someone who joyfully shares with us. My morning was rough and I sat down n said I need some Gayle this morning. (I usually watch at night). Instant lift. Thank you. Your laughter gave me a happy space today! Lots of hugs! 🤗
Hi Gayle. It is nice to see you making Travelers Notebooks. I enjoy watching you make these. I always learn or am reminded of some very good tips from you. I can’t wait to see your Blue Fern Studios project! I love to watch your videos, even when you make mistakes. I love how you deal with it - how you fix it or laugh about it. It is great to watch REALITY. It is a connection your subbies have with you. 🤗 ❤️
This paper pad project is really fun. I don’t think you need to worry about taking time in between for other projects. I feel like you’ve probably done at least 10 projects since the last time you worked on the paper pad stuff. I am always inspired by your daily videos and your commitment to your journal making!
One thing I really like about your videos Gayle is that if I don’t actually laugh out loud I at least always get a chuckle - “In your face lace” is a good one.
Well, it took me a while to find the video where you started these TNs. I was admiring them from a distance. LOL...They are gorgeous. Thanks so much, Gayle!
These are looking so good. You make it look so quick and easy. I'd be lucky to get one done to that point in the same time frame. Your Blue Fern project has me intrigued. I can't wait to see what you do, whether it's filmed or a show and tell at the end.
Good morning Gayle! Love that paper pad. These travel journals are going to be awesome.. I was late coming on because I was working on the journals I am making for my sisters and neices for Christmas. These are absoutely beautiful. Hugs❤
Gayle I especially loved this one! Less than a year ago I was watching you for the first time and we made 9 TNs together. It was all over from there as I was hooked! I enjoy you so much!
Hi Gayle, as you know I'm a new subbie and also new to the Journal crafting world. I have watched "a Lot" of your videos now and you inspired me - I live in Ontario Canada - our option for craft supplies is Micheals or a few brick and mortar "craft stores" and of course the "inter-webs". I found a store that carries Stamperia - beautiful paper!!!!! Purchased and have been inspired to try my hand at Travelers Notebooks. My sister loaned me her old sewing machine and I've learned how to use it. Today I made my first TN's, sewed the edges and I also tea dyed some paper so I will use that to put inside. I don't have a large variety of papers so mine will be pretty basic. thank you for your videos, they are truly inspiring. Congrats on the birth of your "double digit grandson"!!! Hugs to you all.
tfs, I must try this using up a whole paper pad thing! I have a few and I never use them........at all!!! I always revert to old book pages and pictures. It would be good to sit down and use all these pretty papers and make a whole lotta stuff ready to put in journals
Everything you do makes me happy. This video was perfect timing as I am about to make 4 TN for friends of mine. We are going on a 24 day Mediterranean cruise in Oct. Thank you again for sharing your time with us.
Hi Gayle! I haven’t tried a travelers notebook yet and watching you do several at a time, in steps, makes it seem easier to me. I think I can do this now. As always, thanks 💕
This video is perfect timing for me, as I decided last night I wanted to make some TNs. My plan was to this morning rewatch the video where you made your husband's Disney TN to get measurements, but here they were! Thanks. My favorite thing you say in videos is "glue goobers." I never heard anyone say that before.
Love youre ephemera and tags you do, I didnt know what ephemera was before I start looking att youre films 😍😊😁 so thank you Gayle for learning me some stuff that Day 😃
Awesome so far...love that paper..so pretty..Im with you..I feel so sad when people are afraid to just go for it..gotta step out..that's how we all learn..just give it a go. Tfs🤗🤗💜💜
I personally would love, love, love to see you film your project for the design team 😊🙏😘😘❤️😘 hoping you will film this I think it will be a great learning skill for us 😊 I just love your work 😘
The Travelers Notebooks would make a nice Christmas Stocking Stuffer, love the paper. I just bought a paper pad from Michael’s, adding to my to do list. Great tutorial, ty. Fun to watch too.🌻🌻🌻
Oh I do hope you have second thoughts about filming your Blue Fern DT Project. I figure you’ve gotten yourself out of paper jams often enough to show we should have nothing to fear...what is it you say?...”it’s just paper Gayle”. I would love to watch you handily create a masterpiece. Love the TN’s!
Gayle I would definitely call them before they say too much time has passed. I know it’s a hassle but you use your machine too much to have to try to get it to work every time. I love everything you are making with this paper pad! So pretty and feminine with a touch of grunge. Great! I was sitting in the kitchen watching my husband cook as I was watching your video and as you were trying to decide what fabric to use on TN with the house I kept saying no I don’t think so every time you changed the fabric. Then when you had the 3rd choice on there I was saying no try the last one. Then when you decided on using the last one I said great Gayle! Thats the one girlfriend. My husband turned around and said Freida I don’t think you are relevant to the situation. I looked at him and said I know, but she heard me anyway!😁
I've enjoyed watching and I can relate to the sewing machine, mine is currently at the repair shop. Ughh, so frustrating! I can't wait to see what you do with the Blue Fern paper, I went and pre ordered it and just got notification it's been shipped! So excited! Tfs sweet lady💞
Gayle I love everything you can make with this project and was really surprised to see how many of them I'd forgotten also. I would contact your sewing machine repair shop it might be something that they were responsible for. It's worth checking into. 💛💜💙💚🧵
“In your face lace.” “Cute as a bug’s ear.” “Don’t threaten me with a good time!” 😂 I was grinding my teeth, willing the sewing machine to work! I really think you need to take it back to the sewing machine hospital... Love these covers and thanks for a fun video, Gayle. xx

I love that paper brand! You picked a pad with 40 pages double sided so that’s a huge amount! 😳 But your making beautiful projects with that beautiful paper. (I love the Herbarium pad myself) 🥰
Love the envelope flippy thingies....would love to know where you got the paper pad...looks gorgeous! You are one of my favs for inspiration, Gayle....many, many thank you's..:-)
Re: sewing machine: Maybe something with the electrical got jostled loose inside when they tuned it up? I would take it back. I’m sorry it’s giving you a hard time. Hugs!
Oh Gayle!! I really want that blue cover!! I’m a fairly new Sunnis that has watched HOURS of your videos to learn this process and I’ve just moved in to a traveler’s notebook. Please let me know how you plan to choose your buyers!!
I really like traveler's notebooks, so I'm happy that is what you're making. And I do hope you record your design team project with Blue Fern Studio. It's okay if you make a mistake and have to redo it. It's happened to me more than I care to admit.
Those covers are great,I have lots of left over card from paper pads, might have a go at making some pocket journals.I'm with Mary I think you should take your sewing machine back and get it fixed, you paid good money for something that isn't quite right. really looking forward to the next instalment :)
HOORAY! Paper Pad Projects 😍 wow, you've already made several gorgeous things! thanks for showing all of it again. i LUV your TN's Gayle. here's a thought, to use up more of the paper pad, maybe you could do some "naked" TN's and include some of the off cuts, whoever buys them can make their own tags, etc. also, how about if you made a couple ephemera folders to sell - (BUT don't add the vellum/tracing paper pockets) they could even be a TN with a signature using the paper pad. whoever buys it could add they're own little pockets or just use it as a TN. just the covers, signature, maybe pockets or a flip out pocket on the inside covers. i think this paper would be very nice for an ephemera folio journal-the 'not too' busy patterns makes it easier to see the pieces of ephemera (imo) just a couple ideas 😉 i recently cleaned the tip of my art glue, it helped a lot plus i always have a few of those alcohol wipes at the ready to wipe the pin off if i need to. hope your sewing machine gets to working better. tfs, these TN's are already adorable 💖
Hi Jenny! Just found out the paper pad I’m using has a “do not sell on electronic platforms” rule. Ugh, this Angel Policy thing. Anyway, I think I’ll bring all the stuff I’ve made in this project to the Denver Meet and Greet....some giveaways and some for sale. What do you think? ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Oh for goodness sakes Gayle..... I wonder what the difference is between selling on "electronic platforms" as opposed to "in person sales"? geesh! I could understand if someone was scanning the papers and selling as digitals but what do companies think we do with these paper pads? some make cards to sell, journals, etc..... It has to be SO frustrating for all of you that make and sell things and then find out your not "allowed" to do it. Giveaways and bringing to retreats/meet ups is a great idea. Maybe you should set up a lemonade stand and sell items that way-oh wait-i heard a little girl got in trouble for doing THAT! How about a garage sale-aka-crafts. geesh! it's all a bit koo-koo. love your TN's regardless 😍
Yep, koo koo for sure! But...it’ll be fun to offer the people that come to the meet and greet things that won’t be on Etsy, some giveaway and some for sale at the lemonade stand! 😂🤣❤️
I'm making family birthday journals as Christmas gifts, and was a little worried about the thickness (or lack thereof) of my cardstock covers. I'm already folding up the bottom to make pockets back & front but I may also add a vertical strip to stabilize everything. Thanks for the tip!
Love the idea to use a whole paper pack. The travelers notes books are really pretty. Have you got home from seeing double digit yet? Thank you for sharing 🤗
Lovely TNs. Perhaps take the sewing machine back in so it can be repaired (again!) while you're away. Unless you've already gone away to meet your grandson -- hard to keep track because you make so many videos ahead of your travels!
And just like that... four happy little TN's were born! You might film that unpredictable project but wait to post it if it seems comfortable after it is all said and done... just a thought...
Please share your Bluefern project. Warts and all is what makes for a great experience! Love these TN’s for the girl cover I kept saying music. Love that one 🥰
What a extraordinary beautiful paper pad! Gayle your ephemera projects for this is absolutely stunning. I love everything you have created. Do you know if this paper is still available?
You know what? I'm kinda tired of companies telling me what I can and cannot do with items I purchased w/ my own money. I don't steal anyone's designs -- shoot, my channel hasn't been active in almost 2 yrs., but I'm in the process of putting it back up. If someone even buys a journal I make, it'll be a miracle, but I got my bookbinding tools in the mail today, and boy, do they work great ! And a snowflake die came, too -- I want to do Christmas memory journals, little small ones that will fit in your purse to keep track of what you have to do, what you've bought, what someone wants -- if some big company wants to sue little ol' me -- bring it on! I'm disabled now and my only income (like OJ Simpson -- gross !!) is my disability retirement, and it cannot be attached if they win -- and as you can see, I'm long-winded as heck, my deposition could go on for years -- ha. I haven't watched your video yet. I turned on youtube and yours was the first to pop up -- because I have to do the dishes -- yuck -- and they're not even mine -- my son has finally won the heart of this girl he's been pining away for for 3 years -- and they left them in the sink last night before they went canoodling in front of the TV -- just to be mean, I would go into the kitchen about every 30 mins. or so -- ha -- you have to walk through the living room to get to the kitchen -- ha -- shoot, I grew up in a small, small town and when the boys came over on the weekends, the girls would come over to my house, and my annoying older brother would pull out his guitar and my father and our friends would bring theirs, and my dad would sit right there until it was time for them to go -- because we had church the next day. So just passing on the family tradition !! So I say: crafters, unite! -- make your journals -- but don't sell a digital of someone else's work and call it your own -- and sell them -- you can't buy these beautiful works of art in stores -- and if there were not a market for these beautiful homemade journals, they would not sell !!! Be well, everyone -- Thanks, Gayle, for the platform -- and now off to watch your video and do those blasted dishes !!!
I am constantly amazed at how well you know the name of each paper collection and where it came from. Even the labels come to your immediately. You know exactly what you want and who made it. This is just another indication of your commitment to your friends and fellow crafters.

Sorry about your sewing machine that would annoy me too. Great project idea to use a whole paper pad. Love the journal covers 💕
I wonder when the paper pad companies will start saying they can’t be used in journals and sold?!!
