Almost all colleges require some form of standardized testing, whether it's the SAT or ACT. This year, however, for class of 2021, I think testing is optional, though I would recommend taking it. At the end of the day, Penn State isn't exactly a selective school so you should be fine.

Well why did nobody put a stop to it or at least say it's going too far? And, as far as the rest of the school, where was the student demonstration demanding that administration put an end to football team culture? And the fact that you're laughing about it says it all.
Not one person told this guy to stop or at least said this is going too far. Students did not demonstrate to get the administration to change the culture of the football team. And the fact that you're laughing about this says it all.
If people only knew how badly employees are treated at Penn State they would never give this university another dime! Penn State prides itself on respecting diversity yet fired me from a job for no reason other than that I believe gay marriage should be between a man and a woman. Penn State fired me from a job there because I said "I support the laws of the country" when someone asked me my opinion on the immigration issue who labeled me a racist. I had two years of a perfect work record at a dining hall, never late, never missed a shift, worked my brains out - then still not given a union job while the nephew of a manager got the job. How fair is it for union employees here to be paid almost double that of temps and wage payroll people doing exactly the same job? At the Penn Stater Hotel I was simply commenting on privacy rights in a discussion about the Sandusky sex abuse case - minutes later to be physically dragged to the exit of the building and threatened to be thrown down a flight of stairs. This apparently is pretty typical here! Diversity and respect for all? Ha ha, yes only the Penn State way. And for the outrageous tuition here and all the students who graduate often with crap degrees and nothing more than a pile of debt - what a pathetic place! And just imagine paying as much as $600 a year merely to park your car if you work here! And perhaps worst of all is the alcohol problem here with the majority of students getting drunk every weekend, some dying from alcohol poisoning and/or drinking related injuries every year with the Penn State administration doing virtually nothing about this.
@@emazaxiix5177 If you have any brains you will know exactly what you want to study and major in, fully understand how to deal with the outrageous cost and elminate debt ASAP, and the pathetic liberal indoctrination here and avoid the alcohol and partying nonsense and push for A grades instead!

congrats!!!!! have a great time there! i hope you love it!
I haven't joined any sports and maybe I joined like two clubs. Will that be a problem for when I apply for Penn State?
i only joined one sport and no clubs! I'm sure you'll be fine! 2 clubs is great! I think they just like to see that you get involved!
i got into penn state berks campus!!
awww congrats!!!!
I have a question, so if you apply for summer session does that transfer over to you just go to psu??? Lol I don’t know if that’s a dumb question but if you get in summer session does that just mean you go to penn state and are there for all 4 years
i’m pretty sure as long as you do well in the two classes they have you take in the summer session, you will be enrolled into the fall semester! :)
What’s summer session?
is it hard to get in as a transfer?
im going to be a senior in high school and i really wanna go to penn state!! however my SAT score is not so well... other than that though my grades, extrac., service, etc is all good. ahh
there test optional so you don’t have to submit your sat score :) i was never able to take the test so i won’t be submitting an sat or act
@@gabbysokolowski9500 I also wanna go too but my SAT scores are mostly ass
@@alainawhittle5159 you don’t have to submit them! so many people can’t take them so they can’t hold them against you. i just applied today i hope all goes well!
I got accepted!
Is the ACT required? My mom and I are arguing about if it's required or not (I think it is right??) lol
Almost all colleges require some form of standardized testing, whether it's the SAT or ACT. This year, however, for class of 2021, I think testing is optional, though I would recommend taking it. At the end of the day, Penn State isn't exactly a selective school so you should be fine.
I got into the summer 2020 university park so I’m confused it’s a requirement to get into the Fall 2020. I feel like I didn’t do good enough I guess ? I take things too much to heart 😅
Hannah I was accepted the same way girl! dont take it to heart, psu is a great school whether you got in for summer or fall! im proud of you ❤️ congrats!
Julia Giunta thank you!! I was kinda shocked 😂Can you give me some input and advice about the summer program maybe?
of course! personally, i would suggest meeting as many new people as you can during summer, you only have 2 classes and you have lots of time on your hands so its perfect for making friends! then in the fall you can focus in on classes instead of worrying about meeting new people :) also, if u end up hating your summer friends, you can start fresh in the fall!! last, i would highly suggest doing your best in the summer to boost your gpa later on in the fall when you have more on your plate ☺️ hope this helps!!!! best of luck and CONGRATS!!!!!
Julia Giunta okay thank u so much ! If I end up choosing to go to Penn State this fall I will defiantly try to say hi if I see you
Your so reminding me from Serena on Gossip Girl 😍❤️ (looks and the sick voice lol)
Anywho thanks for doing this informative video I’m transferring here next year and this helps

Hi sis pls I will your help on this pls
Can anyone tell me my chances for main campus penn state with a 3.3 weighted and a 1300 sat score
I’m gonna be a senior in high school btw
i had the same sat score! and ik penn states avg gpa unweighted is about 3.3 or something but id say you have a pretty good chance of summer sesh! (thats what i got into with the same numbers!) good luck though!! and have a great senior year :)
I've always wanted to go to Penn state but as an international student I have found it really hard to find information on how to apply I'm a senior in Australia and I'm just so lost anyways i really enjoyed this video
Go on their website and apply. They have rolling admission so you still have a chance. Not much to it. I’m an international student as well and I got accepted for fall 2021

My gpa is 3.0 in middle school
I got into penn State with a buzz on
How do you edit your TH-cam videos?
Liz Alexander i use adobe premiere pro or imovie!!!
She calls upon the gods
Hey! Hope you answer this question! If I apply very early like in September, would I hear back early ? Don’t wanna submit early if not
If you apply for early action you hear back in January. That what happened with me.
Thank you
Hey yo I am a senior in high school and only this last summer I went to my first main land college being Penn State and realized its my top choice. How could I have the best opportunity to get in I really am trying my best to make it all happen. Also a fan of the wrestling!
Penn State sucks worst decision of my life was going to Penn State.
Care to share? And quick question would you mind sharing your sat score?? you don’t have to if you don’t want to share
@@vanessaadonis6812 idk I took the sat like a decade ago. I graduated from high school 2011 and Penn State 2015. Just didn't have friends there, pushed my way threw it never useless my useless criminology degree. Took on debt, and missed other opportunities in my life. My GPA isn't even that high so I'm stuck now.
@becca 22 thank you!
Why would any parent allow their child to go to Penn State? There clearly is something wrong at that school.
Pleiku Whats wrong with it?
Have you not seen the latest report on the football team?
Pleiku that’s football lmao you act like that’s he entire school
Well why did nobody put a stop to it or at least say it's going too far? And, as far as the rest of the school, where was the student demonstration demanding that administration put an end to football team culture? And the fact that you're laughing about it says it all.
Not one person told this guy to stop or at least said this is going too far. Students did not demonstrate to get the administration to change the culture of the football team. And the fact that you're laughing about this says it all.
I thought penn state didn’t require letters of rec?
And I thought that turtles could fly, but I guess only one of us was wrong here...
Geoff Fox huh
What major did u apply for
TH-cam drop out
If people only knew how badly employees are treated at Penn State they would never give this university another dime! Penn State prides itself on respecting diversity yet fired me from a job for no reason other than that I believe gay marriage should be between a man and a woman. Penn State fired me from a job
there because I said "I support the laws of the country" when someone asked me my opinion on the immigration issue who labeled me a racist. I had two years of a perfect work record at a dining hall, never late, never missed a shift, worked my brains out - then still not given a union job while the nephew of a manager got the job. How fair is it for union employees here to be paid almost double that of temps and wage payroll people doing exactly the same job? At the Penn Stater Hotel I was simply commenting on privacy rights in a discussion about the Sandusky sex abuse case - minutes later to be physically dragged to the exit of the building
and threatened to be thrown down a flight of stairs. This apparently is pretty typical here! Diversity and respect for all? Ha ha, yes only the Penn State way. And for the outrageous tuition here and all the students who graduate often with crap degrees and nothing more than a pile of debt - what a pathetic place! And
just imagine paying as much as $600 a year merely to park your car if you work here! And perhaps worst of all is the alcohol problem here with the majority of students getting drunk every weekend, some dying from alcohol poisoning and/or drinking related injuries every year with the Penn State administration doing virtually nothing about this.
WOOOO, this makes me wanna apply rn. my high school had people like you and just yuck
@@emazaxiix5177 If you have any brains you will know exactly what you want to study and major in, fully understand how to deal with the outrageous cost and elminate debt ASAP, and the pathetic liberal indoctrination here and avoid the alcohol and partying nonsense and push for A grades instead!
Omg girl I’m between South Carolina & penn state too
im legit in 7th grade and i really want to go to penn state
who are you
Damn, just applied with a 2.7 ahahahaha
Uhhh I don't know about that one, man

Some accurate historical information from Brittanica Encyclopedia:
Penn State removed the statue of George Whitefield in 2020 just so they never have to discuss how slavery was an institution all over the world long before the U.S was established. Long before the British Empire (Who, by the way, were the ones that abolished slavery as an institution)
The 50 slaves of George Whitefield, the ones who wrote, wrote of Whitefield as a good man and a happy Saint that they loved and cherished. . . Whitefield also established letters sent out to Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina of the abuses within the institution of slavery saying to them that they will have quarrels with none other than God for their evil practices.
The establishment of societies worldwide have always consisted of slaves. "Slaves" that were often treated fairly, OFTEN didn't want to leave, even when given the chance due to their human value being highlighted by the Christians. . .
But instead, the masses just dance to the rhythm of the music unaware of the lyrics.
Everyone should know the history of the Great Awakening and the 2nd Great Awakening.
The history of medicine, nursing practices, Healthcare overall; Established by Christians who were more than willing to aid the sick and dying by bringing them into their own homes and even succumb to the sickness and yet die with joy. As reported in ancient rome on the history of Pandemics and viruses.
