    I have watched different video on TH-cam on to cook jollof rice this is the best and exactly how jollof rice is supposed to be cooked. Excellent!!!!

    I would definitely eat this rice dish in place of Spanish rice ... jollof is a complex dish and I can’t wait to make and taste it ... I haven’t really had any African foods yet but really to taste em all 😋

    Watching this in 2020 has reminded me how Nigerian jollof 🇳🇬cooking process has changed over the years and now the majority of Nigerians cook it similarly to that of the Ghanaian jollof 🇬🇭 process, thanks to TH-cam 😁.

    I've never had jollof rice. I love the recipe, I would cut on the salt, and the butter. There's oil already.

    Its the best rice recipe ever to die for. The Senegalese are the master of this rice dish. I eat with their outstanding fish!

      Shafiq Shabazz Indeed! In fact this JOlof rice comes from JOlof, an ancient province in Senegal 🇸🇳 where live Wolof (an ethnic group). It’s called there Thiebu Jeun. That’s the real deal with all due respect to Nigeria 🇳🇬 and 🇬🇭.

    Hello good job can i use dis same method for nigerian brand of rice as to get foreign rice now is quite difficult. D nigerian brand is *tomato king* as i need to cook for my baby's birthday thanks

      Thanks for watching Rita. Yes you can, however, it appears that that
      the Nigerian rice cooks a lot faster, so don't parboil for long.. you dont want you rice to be all soggy

      Queen Dee you use a one harbanero pepper, garlic cloves like six, tomatoes sauce, one big can, slice an whole Onion in 4, add this to your blender, and blend until all is mixed into sauce, that's your pepper sauce, married to a Nigerian, I'm American, you can do it sister 😃

      Selina no special seasoning. Curry, thyme, chicken cube seasoning, stock water from meat or boiled chicken, oil, long grain rice. That is all.
