iPhones the base models are actually cheaper than counterparts androids . An iPhone goes for nearly half the price post exchange even after 3 years . On the other hand galaxy pros go for 1/3 of its price . So you can upgrade to a one year model in 3 year. Which is still better in terms of quality to their android counterparts . Only downside to an apple iPhone is its high repair costs it’s insane ! Which is a cause of concern ! So Apple needs to do something about it ! But if you buy a base model even an 1 year older model it is still beneficial plus these phones doesn’t slowdown when compared to their android counterparts.updates for 7 years breaths a new file to device . But I would suggest not to get locked into an ecosystem. Buy iPhone buy other stuffs made for iPhone by 3rd party like earphones and smart watches etc ! iPhones are still top class ! Even good rois if you see security + speed ! Don’t buy higher variants like 256 gb version etc back it up on your laptops !
