Roger it is lovely to see that Henry have gifted you this machine as you are a wonderful ambassador for the company with your thorough reviews and demonstrations. 🙂 🙃 Brilliant, I can hardly wait until this hits the shores of 🇦🇺 Australia 2023. I am just not sure about the location of the dirt chamber compared to my very old D brand of stick vac but even that changed with their newer ones some time ago. And over all it is about 1kg heavier than the D brand. _LIKES_ = Able to clean away blockages if they occur. Air freshener disc. Dirt bags. Clean emptying, meaning no need to have to use my mains vac to clean the mesh filter and then suck out the rubbish build up in the cones. No gimmicky 'detect dust' gauge on the top of the machine.
I wasn't expecting the hard floor pick up to be that good but Henry Quick does the job admirably, I think a certain Mr Dyson will be taking notes on this cleaner. I wonder will Numatic come out with a soft roller head for hard floors although based on what I saw I don't think one would be needed, or even a car kit for the Henry quick as I suspect the size of the main unit will make getting into the tight spaces in your car problematic. The pod system seems to work very well and never need to get your hands dirty when emptying.
Assuming you use one pod a week. That amounts to around £270 over 4 years. Add that to the initial upfront cost and u are around the price of a Dyson. The Henry quick takes a big hit to performance once the bag starts filling up whereas a Dyson stays consistent with performance and at a much higher level than the Henry. Don’t think Dyson will be taking notes anytime soon
Waited a while for this video and you did not disappoint, and neither did Numatic! I absolutely LOVE those socks! I hope they sell them worldwide, I must have a pair!
Thanks for the review, ours has just come and am pleasantly surprised at the suction power of it. Normally I’d be put off by the bags but as they work as the filter as well it’s got to be a good thing for a lot of people who don’t tend to clean the filter too often and then wonder why the vacuum isn’t very good. The only bit that I’m a bit disappointed with is having to plug the charger in manually even when you put it in the handy wall holder it comes with, it would have been better if it was charging when you just put it in the wall holder, my main reason for this would be if I was to put it in a guests apartment then they may or may not plug it in/out properly, not a complaint just a thought as I’m really pleased with it and am already thinking of getting another.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful video of Henry quick . I’ve been wanting to buy one for years and I have used Henry in work places like retirement homes and some catering work place that’s with the old Henry’s hoover sorry Henry 🤗 . Watching you with the Henry quick is the kind of one I am looking for ! Something light and easy to use . Thank you Henry and thank the gentleman who showed the video 👍❤
Great review Roger! You always do a good job of detailing the cleaners and giving your verdict so it comes as no suprise that numatic chose to give you a quick for test - they know youll do a good job!
You know what I'd like with all these stick vacuums with their own accessory connection systems? An adaptor that connects to the machine one end and the other end is plain to connect to any 32mm tool of the user's choice. I do have my favourite brushes and it annoys me I can't use them with these stick vacuums. I understand there may be some suction loss if not using the specially designed tools but I'd still like the option.
Lol my mum just got one of these. Somewhere in the depths of my mind i remembered this channel existed and came to see what you had to say about it Edit: Poor Henry cordless is looking on smiling, not realising this new product has made him more or less obsolete lol.
This cleaner is brilliant and looks amazing ! Love the idea of a bagged cordless vacuum . No more dust clouds when emptying the bin and very little maintenance. Hope it becomes available in the U.S. I'm sold !
Quite the opposite here, I found it very disappointing that it has bags in it. This is the ONLY reason I will not buy this model. I would prefer a plastic bin and to just keep replacing filters as required every few months. This just seems to be a few years behind in terms of design, like all others have moved on and this is stuck in the past. Had this come out 10 years ago it would have been acceptable, but no one does a cordless bagged handheld now.
Just bought one of these as I think my normal type Henry is by far the best vacuum I’ve got. I was disappointed to miss out on the 20 free extra pods though.☹️
Thanks for an insightful video, going to purchase one as having 2 cats and a dog I like the bag/filter element to it as pet dust is very fine and I’m always washing the current vaxs filters
The issue is that it's not as versatile. Normal Henrys have so many attachments and you can use them for everything. But this one, you can't really use it in your car because it's just extremely bulky. If only they did some proper accessories such as a hose that accepts attachments at the end of it. That's why I had to go with the Gtech Pro 2 as I wanted a cordless vacuum with a bag
I bought one of these and really wanted to like it but was left feeling so underwhelmed every time I used it. Ended up returning it and buying a Shark IZ420UKT which I absolutely love
I was of the same thought but at only £1-30 a bag it works as the filter as well so with every bag it’s got a new filter and picks up great again, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve used a vacuum and the filters clogged up😅
I do hope we eventually get this in the States. I do like the idea of stick vacs for quick cleaning but I will not buy any of Dysons stick vacs. I really like this one though and hope Numatic decide to bring it here.
That pod system is the exact same thing that Electrolux did with their bags in the 1950's, only the vacuums ejected it automatically when full. Funny how "new" inventions are actually very old.
I have been using the Henry Quick for about 2.5 months. I plug the charge cable into the battery when the vacuum is stored on the bracket. The red light used to stay on continuously while the battery was charging. Starting a couple of weeks ago, when I put the charge cable into the battery, the red light only comes on for a second and then turns off. The battery still charges. If I remove the battery from the vacuum then the red light will stay on continuously while the battery is charging. Is this normal behaviour?
Thank you for this great review. Does it have a hepa filter ? I have shocking allergies. I bought the Henry allergy which was brilliant in terms of power, filtration and bag size, but it agitated and grabbed my carpet and the carpet fibres went everywhere, creating an allergic reaction. I have the dyson machines , including gen5 detect, which don’t do this , but they are killing me everytime I have to open the bin to empty and clean. I cant wait until My HenryAllergy comes out with a power head and a lower choice of suction. Until then, I’m sure this would suit if it has a decent filter. I cant find anything on their website.
No, the bag is the main filter with a sponge filter behind it and no exhaust filter, so the Quick may not be the best choice for people with allergies. Numatic used to make Henry cleaners with power-heads but not for many years. If you want a cylinder model with a powerhead, you may want to look at my reviews of the Sebo D4, Sebo E3 and Sebo K3. All of those models have adjustable height controls, electronic suction controls on the handle and hospital grade S Class filtration.
Great channel!! Just got my Henry I notice when my brush roll is on high on carpet it will shut off and just go to suction mode is that normal. Thankyou in advance.
We've just purchased one of these off the back of your review, thank you. So far it's been great. My only gripe is connector to the metal tube, when fitted still has a lot of play in the fitting. The one near the brush head is nice and tight. Do you think I have a faulty one?
I’m hoping for Numatic to fix their domestic products website and made it called “My Henry” since Numatic vacuums are very hard to find in this country even though Portugal is very close to the UK
