    So great to see how much dirt Henry Quick picked up! And what a simple task for the user to dispose of the mess!!! I do hope this makes other stick-vac makers add a bagged model to their line-ups….would be a very very welcome addition to the marketplace!!! Hopefully we will get this Henry in North America soon!!!! Numatic - are you reading this? 😊

      I don't think that's good for the environment. The material which is needed to produce a single bag could make 10 filters instead.

    • @briant5378
      @briant5378 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That may be true, but bagless vacs are notorious for being thrown away if they are not maintained and cleaned properly. Bagged vacuums last longer and therefore stay out of landfills more than bagless machines. In the big picture, bagged vacuums are therefore better for the environment . They also don’t require water to wash filters and dust bins.

    • @jonny11bonk
      @jonny11bonk ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@briant5378 There should be a law or scoring which would be required to pass with a bagless machine before going outside. My bagless one was pretty expensive, but it's so easy to empty out and I just have to blow away the dust out of the filter with compressed air. I'm really happy with it and the HEPA filter is still clean after a few years of every week usage.

    It does blow my mind when you find you are missing pieces from a brand new vac. I ordered a Dyson big ball canister directly from them and it only came with the motor unit and the tools. No canister, hose, wand, or handle. Luckily once I provided them the pictures I had replacements very quickly but still mind boggling that it happened in the first place. Hopefully they send the batteries soon!

      @nicko5945 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jonny11bonk that’s exactly what I asked them but obviously the rep was out of Southeast Asia and so there was a language barrier. So either they wouldn’t, or couldn’t explain exactly how that could happen. Even the box was way too small and clearly couldn’t fit an entire machine. So once they saw the pics, they understood and sent out the missing components very quickly.

  • @pmw3839

    As much as I hate cleaning filters, it may be worth it if it doesn’t lose suction over time, like you say the Henry does. I empty my DC24 Dyson after every use, so it is not too unpleasant, and is just part of my routine.

    • @PaulHojda
      @PaulHojda 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      A bagged cleaner with a full bag will still have about as much suction as a bagless cleaner with clean filters. I'll stick with bagged cleaners. I had a Dyson and absolutely hated every time I had to empty it. Switched to a bagged Miele and I'm telling you, the Miele with a full bag works better than the old Dyson with clean filters did.

      @ibaisaic  ปีที่แล้ว

      The instructions state not leave leave the battery on prolonged charge when not in use, it I think that applies when you are not using the cleaner on a regular basis. It would probably be OK to leave it plugged in, but it will do no harm to unplug it once it has been fully charged. From time to time you could run the cleaner until the battery has gone flat before charging it again. This is recommended in the instruction book if you haven’t used the cleaner for a while.

    Strewth Roger, what a nightmare with that Vax. Was great to see that Henry Quick performed well though. If you have any tools from one of the earlier Dyson handhelds (like the dc35) to hand, would you be willing to see if they fit on the Henry? The fitting looks quite similar, and if it works, that'd open up a great choice of tools and the non-powered stretch hose. The lack of those is what's holding me back from getting one for cleaning the car.

I probably would have jumped through the phone if I was told "Just return it, there's nothing we can do." I sure hope somebody who's in a high place at Vax or TTI watches this video because if that is the correct level of "care" they give customers, then they're totally out of touch with reality.

    Hate to ruin a Henry video with garbage from vax but the have been appalling customer service wise. Vax dual carpet washer, bought directly from vax, wheel fell off two years in and after very light use. Was told as I hadn’t registered the 7 year warranty all they could offer was a reduced by £50 replacement. Very angry, took the replacement with the free steam cleaner the carpet machine was faulty out of the box. Returned it for a refund but was told I could keep the steam cleaner, that died after 4 uses. When I purchased the first carpet cleaner I also got a fax blade. The died after 23 months. It only got used a few times as it filled up so fast. When I contacted vax I was told there was nothing they could do as it was out of warranty. I will never use them again. On the plus side, my 6 year old Henry and my George bought to replace the vax garbage are working perfectly and are so much better machines.
