Their is a line that I still say to this day. That scene where he’s trying to get in the house and he’s desperate and his voice cracks “Let me in the house😩”almost like he’s fading away tired. His delivery is so funny to me. I used to say that when I got home and the door was locked lol. Also the dad is a hero! He’s one of the most intense actors, William Peterson. He was in two of my favorite 80s crime movies ever “to Live and Die In LA” and “Manhunter” which is the first movie of Hannibal Lector. (I hope you get to one day) I feel like that “I said what I said” was directly towards me. 😂 I have never called it pop, I just call it coke. It can be sprite or Fanta or Dr Pepper, it’s get me a coke lol.
I remember that "Let me in the house" part being in the trailer and I was so excited to watch this movie because of that. I was expecting that level of intensity throughout the movie, so it was a little disappointing when we didn't get full blown crazy lol Pop Vs Soda Vs Coke is a battle is old as time 😂😂
@@SistaGurlonFilms oh I have seen this on cable so the tv edit has that line. Like in Freddy vs Jason I was expecting the girl to say “Freddy versus Jason, place your bets!!” It’s only in the trailer. 😒 I’ve never heard a coke or soft drink being called “pop” in real life, but I know it’s used a lot in Midwest to east coast region. Also yes please give us a Cape Fear reaction. It’s really an intense thriller/horror movie.

I know a lot of people compare this film to "Fatal Attraction" but I don't think that film invented the universal concept of having an affair, and the lover is a psychopathic monster. That's been an idea as old as fiction, it's just that Fatal Attraction made it popular again.
I love watching thrillers w/you, I’m cracking up the entire time!😂 Your commentary, editing & clips are the best!🤭 Saw this @ the theater, just out of high school. Watching it now almost 30 yrs later as an adult w/kids is wild! ALL the red 🚩🚩🚩! Marky Mark was @ the right time & place during the 90s to start acting because he IS terrible!😅😂🤣
Mark absolutely benefited from who his brother was, his good looks, and right place right time because his acting is just not good lol When he's in action films, he's ok but then we are not paying attention to the acting lol

Fear is a film I used to watch all the time. (Maybe it had something to do with my Willam Petersen crush lol) Also from what I recall, this was Wahlberg’s first film so he was still polishing his skills. A good actor? Very much. A good actor then? Hmm, he was improving.
I was a senior in high school when this movie came out. I don’t remember feeling so annoyed with how everyone treated her dad. Probably because I was 18 lol. And it’s weird, my memory has Alicia Silverstone in this movie too 😮
Hey Sista how are you? Fear(1996) was a thriller classic and Mark Wahlberg is an phenomenal actor, his performance is outstanding as the lead deranged villain!! This is actually his first starring role debut at that time!! Reese Witherspoon is amazing actress yes she was 20 & Mark Wahlberg was 25!! Hey Sista you should react to the other thriller, Phone Booth(2002) really a great movie & it stars Colin Farrell in it!! Great reaction❤️🔥
Thank you for watching! I am going to have to respectfully disagree with Wahlberg being a phenomenal actor. Now, he's good in some things but I haven't seen a performance yet that I would call phenomenal. But that could change one day lol
@@SistaGurlonFilms totally understandable what your saying and I respect your opinion lol!!! He's very good in his talent in movies, but he's not like the best actor tbh
IF you saw your boyfriend grab some girl by the hair and forced her, picked her up over his shoulder would you not call the dam cops on this guy? You'd be thinking "This guys' about rape this girl--- RED ALERT!!!" . The one part that seriously annoys me about this movie.
Love your reactions !!! May I suggest a few iconic black films very few have viewed yet? 1. A Time To Kill ft. Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConauhey. 2. Shaft with Samuel Jackson, Regina Hall and Jessie Usher. 3. DEVIL IN A BLUE DRESS 4. GLORY 5. A SOLDIER STORY 6. JOHN Q. All featuring DENZEL WASHINGTON
Another early Reese Witherspoon horror - Freeway, with Kiefer Sutherland. It's weird, in a surreal exploitation movie kinda way. The sequel, with Natasha Lyonne (Freeway 2: Confessions of a Trick Baby), is even crazier, but only thematically connected to the first.
What is his problem? I thought i figured him out mostly, but then when the dad broke in his room, and the pictures, the one with mark as the dad, what the hell was that about?
He was great with the character and being a sociopath with being a charismatic individual at the start and fooled most of the people at first like a sociopath can, it’s like Ted Bundy he got so many victims because he was a good looking guy and the women liked him until it was too late
Mark's best acting role was in Boogie Nights and possibly The Departed. That's it. I've seen him in many other films and he's subpar or awful. You could try either of those movies if you want!
Thank you so much for showing this movie. I love to hear your feedback. You should also do a reaction to the movie Cape Fear with Robert Di Niro. Please and thank you 🙏 ❤️🙂
Marky Mark is a good actor in some things. I think he takes himself a little too seriously and sometimes you can FEEL him ACTING and it's really off-putting.
Mark is not the best actor imo but I knew a guy who acted just like him. The soft voice, going from zero to 100, etc... so I think it's an accurate depiction, it's just not executed in the best way.
I wonder if that was a personal acting choice or is the director gave that direction 🤔 I can see how it could have worked better with a more seasoned actor
It was suppose to be DiCaprio but he passed on it and sent it to mark. marks first role was with him in basketball diaries. His acting career is better than his rap career.
12:33 exactly what kind of adult calls a child a “S-LUT” 😂
That’s nuts.
Everyone on this movie is nuts except the dad and daughter

Mark has his moments with his acting. I enjoy him in action roles for sure
I only know of one good movie that he acted in... Rockstar. But I'm pretty sure that role was made for him. It was still a really good movie though.
Another great Thriller to check out on Thriller Thursday is Cape Fear the 1991 version with Robert De Niro and a young Juliette Lewis it’s so good
That scene with the finger in the mouth was 😩 so uncomfortable lol.
Judging by the amount of likes this suggestion received, I guess Cape Fear is next

Why did Nicole scream when she gor that guy off the window and when she stabbed David?
I'm telling you, Reese Witherspoon attended the Alicia Silverstone school of scream acting 😂😂

This movie was a biography of Mark Walbergs life 😂
But seriously, check out the horrible things he did before he was famous. He's a real POS.
I believe it! Something about him never sat right with me!
I was 12 watching it in 97 and yes mark’s character is a psychopath but I loved the rollercoaster scene and I did that with girlfriends
