thats morrisseys M.O. its was music for the outcast and misunderstood. morrissey was/is our poster boy/man to feeling alone, unloved, unwanted. soundtrack to the 80s. appreciate your take on it. it doesnt resonate with everyone and its not suppose too. the smiths are my band...dont need to be your band. ✌️
I love the Smiths but never got into Morrissey's solo stuff. I'm glad about that as Morrissey has become right wing, anti-immigrant, and nationalist. I still listen to the Smiths as I don't think that Morrissey had those views back when he recorded with the rest of the band
