Conservation Framing: 11 - Spacers - Sealing of rebate

The wood of the frame rebate should not touch the artwork.
The solution can be a spacer or an aluminium tape that seals the rebate.

wow great stuff. I hate when the wood or paint particles flake off the inside of the frames and then the particles get onto the front of the glass or art and ruins it if its in a bad place. Need to maybe try this. Up goes the cost and price of my artwork :) Thanks
