Actually, with enough speed (which we know he has) a small loss of contact with the road can easily be recovered from in a loop. Speed and momentum are vectors (directional quantities, roughly speaking), and acceleration modifies them gradually over time. But gravity, being a source of acceleration, doesn't bypass existing speeds to immediately delete the forward or upward momentum you had previously, or in other words those speeds that are needed to go through a loop without falling off into the bottom part, which if you have enough of, you'll make the loop in a quick enough manner so that there isn't enough time for gravity to accelerate you enough to disrupt your loop path. But the question is why he can stay on the loop if he jumps at the peak of the loop (momentum has been turned all horizontal) adding to the downward acceleration that gravity gives. Well, without other forces acting on them, object trajectories are linear. And while it's not exactly the case here, my point about bringing up Newton's First Law is to explain how loops work. Roughly speaking, if you go fast in a loop, you end up sticking to the road because the road pushes you to stop you from going through it. If at any point in a loop the whole road suddenly disappeared, you'd go in a straight line (except gravity) because the normal force (what pushes things apart to stop them from going through each other) would no longer be there to modify your speed toward a circle trajectory. In other words still, the reason you can move on a road is 1.existing speed along that road and 2.that there's enough force pushing you toward the road so that you can get a good grip (normal force) and use wheels or legs to propel you along. Loops happen to show you what sources you can get that grip from. At the bottom part, the main contributor is gravity. At the quarter part (road is 90 degrees (up)), gravity's contribution 0 and starts to get negative. At the top part, you need to use the material alongside your existing speed to keep a contact with the road, otherwise you'll fall off. You could use wheels, legs, jets or other engines to help out toward going forward or pushing toward the road, but for wheels and legs you'd still need an existing grip to get the force needed for propulsion. But if you're fast enough you can still make it across the midpoint. As you start to go down, though, gravity starts going in your favor, speeding you up as it forces you away from the road less and less until the three-quarter part where it starts contributing toward your grip once more. tldr Even with a small upside-down jump making him fall a little more, he still has enough speed to meet the road at a further point of the loop, so it would be possible for him to complete the loop with existing physics. But yeah, game model animations aren't physics. I hope that was interesting.

Petition to get easyspeezy to play and speedrun shadow generations for no reason
Drinking game: take a shot every time he says "edgy"
"you can probably tell by the music..."
proceeds to make voice louder than music
I have no idea how younger me had the patience to unlock the final story...
1:29 “so this lets us fly at supersonic speeds”
* turns hat backwards * *no pun intended*
I actually played that game once and I accidentally went evil on the last good stage and screwed up everything
I watch this channel for the nostalgia from my childhood more than the speedruns
The only line I truly hold dearly from this game is from Eggman: THE MORE THE MERRIER!
The chicken sucker is the most unedgey weapon in this game.
This game would've been more bearable if it wasn't trying too damn hard to be edgy.
@@philithegamer8265 i liked the game though.. same with 06.. but you know.. people are going to disagree regardless.
Sonic: hey shadow, no time no see!
Edgy Shadow: I don't even know who you are.
To be fair, a 26:10 isn't the worst. Gotta start somewhere. I think my first time was somewhere in the 24 minute mark, but now I'm down to 18:36. Running this game is actually a lot of fun, and as someone who is currently helping develop our new Katana% category, its awesome that you decided to run this game. Shadow the Hedgehog's speedrunning community is pretty nice, so if anyone here wants to give it a try, I'd highly recommend it. We've got a lot of different categories for you to try.
I have such great memories of playing the multi-player of this game with my cousin in my og Xbox and I almost had forgotten this game existed. Thank you. I finally know why I'm so edgy
I love how for the pure neutral ending, Shadow got his own backstory wrong
The repressed memories of this game are coming back. It definitely didn't seem this bad the first time I played this game
“They literally just die... and I love it” got me dead 🤣
I loved this edginess as a kid. It was so cool being able to kill people as a sonic character.
Doom’s eye: 1:50
Easy Speezy: lol hedgehog go vroom🤪
"We might have wasted time but we made that guy depressed so its worth it" I see your priorities are in order
1:59 “Who needs story for a Sonic game.”
The entire Sonic Fandom:
So you have chosen death.
This game holds a special place in my heart. Younger me loved this game, older me thinks it's charmingly terrible. Thanks for the entertaining video Easy!!
This is the content I've been searching for all these years
"They literally just die, and I love it!"
-Eazy Speezy 2020
As someone who plays this game on the regular and is actually good at it: This run is insanely unoptimized.
Case in point: 10:40 "These guys are awkward with the homing attack" and yet you're still using the homing attack when you have a gun in hand?
12:37 the reason your homing attacks are missing is because you're too close to the boss
"In the multiplayer you get to go against each other as Sonic characters with guns" No, it's literally just Shadow recolors but go off
im actually glad this is my birthday video
always fun playing this game with my friend on his PS2! Just the PvP mode though we never played the campaign. I remember one time he wanted a copy of the intro cutscene but he didn't have a tape recorder so he gave me his copy for a few days so I could get it on tape for him xD
He should speedrun the sonic game called “sonic and the black knight “
Oh yeah I remember that game. It was the best sonic game ever. The combat was amazing. The story was fantastic. There were 0 bugs. Absolutely perfect game. 100/10
OMG YES THAT'S MY FAVORITE SONIC GAME!!
Im a massive sonic fan and only found out about that game ~1 year ago. It looks really fun, I might play it.
@@thecoolnoob1288 the story was fantastic, and the gameplay was better than secret rings, not a big thing but definitely up the better ones.
@@thecoolnoob1288 I actually did like the story, it is a different take, so it's probably not for everyone.
"I am Shadow Android. The ultimate battle lifeforms created by egg."
The billy hatcher disrespect makes me sad
This game is a 7/10. Its fun to use guns and explore, most of the endings are bangers. I honestly dont think shadow here is annoying, I like his extra edgy-ness with and pinch of emo personality and I like his ark. Although the villain is a bit weak, the game is slippery like 3D blast and IM TIRED NEARLY EVERY STAGE HAS A RANDOME SONIC CHARACTER APPEARING IN THE LEVEL. Point is, this game is a slippery and funny game thats kinda underrated.
I saw this and shed a tear with how much i miss this game i remember the trailer for this game was so hype
Seeing you utterly demolish the Egg Breaker has brought peace to my soul
YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY... THE MORE THE MERRIER!
"But I mean who wants story for a Sonic game"
Sonic Adventure 2 would like to have a talk with you
So would the Rush series
Unleashed too
But shadow the hedgehog has some good story too
This is pure NG+ run since you actually use a weapon that is only available for a certain ending.
"Edgy Sonic game"
You mean the BEST Sonic game. I don't remember being able to use guns in any other sonic game
E-102 Gamma in Sonic Adventure uses a gun. So do Tails and Eggman in Sonic Adventure 2.
@@UndefeatableTwilightCatgirl More like lasers but at least prior to Edgy the Hedgy they didn't try to shove it down your throat that characters used weapons.
9:55 The turret actually shoots faster if you just mash the B button. Same goes for the gun that the turret drops when it's destroyed.
I Praise You, This Game Hurts. A Ton.
"I am Shadow android. The ultimate battle life form created by Egg-"
I remember when this game out and all the coverage I ever saw for it was “its sonic, but with guns” lol
What's your thoughts on the game?
The best part about this is that Shadow found that DAMN fourth chaos emerald.
"Speed running sonic on 13:00 minutes"
The video is 13 minutes lol
Lmaooo
@@AlaaHbSam “on” 13 minutes
Plus the video isn’t the speedrun time
@@mbdg6810 i'm not dumb a know lol
I've watched hours of the 100% speedrhns man, the nostalgia thxxxxx eazy
The edge of this game is so sharp I can cut myself on it.
This might be the first time I see that he actually does the glitch first try :D
Shadow: If I collect all the Emeralds, I'll learn everything...
Apparently, Google doesn't exist in the Sonic universe
"Chaos Google!"
I remember playing this game when I was 8. And had no idea what was going on and never finished the game
2:00 "Who needs story for a Sonic game?"
*Modern Sonic fans are typing*
Cutscenes: exists
Speed runners: This little maneuver is going to save me 50 years!
9:32 "This looks exactly like a Yoshi egg? Is that what it's supposed to be?" No, this is the Egg from the game Billy Hatcher. It was released in September 23, 2003, just a few months before Sonic Heroes was released. It's honestly a neat little reference and for it to be the most overpowered weapon in the game makes it even better.
Last time I was this early to a Speezy video was... Last Speezy video, actually.
