That Glyphic Canyon skip was nuts. You entered the purple dimension. I also never considered trying to jump around the shields at the end of Final Haunt. That's a funny way to beat the hero mission- I always figured the way to cheese it was by activating the switches and then turning around and shooting them again once I was past their shields.
It's probably referring to the Chaos Control glitch. I don't really know the specifics, but you can make it so Chaos Control lasts pretty much indefinitely if you activate it just as you try to warp using a Checkpoint. The game bugs out and the Hero Meter doesn't drain, so Chaos Control goes on until you make it stop.

bro, when I was a kid, I had no clue and was to lazy to lower the shields on final haunt, so I also jumped around them, lol.
