I really need to go do Trickle. Ive done Ridgeline on my Giant, and both Ridgeline and Vertigo on my old hard tail (with many walk throughs due to y-brakes and poor skills).
Trickle is definitely the next step in progression from Ridgeline. Make sure you choose a dry day for checking it out. Makes it so much easier. Have fun mate and let me know how it worked out!
@@LongLiveEnduro I've got a mate that drags me into tracks slightly above my pay grade so I don't just sit in a comfortable zone... We haven't tried this yet.. then again the entry to this and Yeah Ngah is enough to keep a lot of us out.. (I'm sure I walked my bike down the start once.. maybe it used to reconnect to T3..
@@LongLiveEnduro yeah, sorta have a mixed bag of best and worst things ever forced into. We "Carried" our bikes from Makara to Owhiro Bay via cable bay years back. Had to rope dcend a rock on the coast and climb a 60deg fence line... I pass on a lot like the black drop at the start of Mr X, but do most else up to single black (Except gaps)
Important is to take your time. You will feel it when you are ready for it. I always have fear trying new things close but above my current comfort zone. I try to envision myself how I would do a feature. What I have to do to clear it and what to absolutely avoid. I started building my own features 2 years ago and then these skills are even more important, because you don't have any reference at all. No one has ridden it before, so not even a mental help like "it is rideable, I see tire prints"

Good luck mate. Just be careful, don't get forced into stuff you don't feel comfortable at. Find your own ZEN and some dry days in a row...
