Fit was debuted with this feature and it later made it's way in the HRV.
In Asia, Honda advertises it as "Magic seats" and they can do various different seat combinations, you can even see these modes on Honda fit's Wikipedia page.

My does not do that I tried that several times before and it does not do that the front seat in the backseat don't match it always overlaps one
