Full refund. He can file a damage claim with USPS and get his money that way. Nobody has to be out any money. He learns to ship safer. Always a bummer when that happens though! Definitely avoidable.
File an insurance claim for the full amount and then re-slab. Things happen and it doesn't seem intentional. I don't think negative feedback is warranted.
Had a card show up damaged, was sent through the global shipping program. Was a 2 card lot, only 1 card had damage. eBay gave me full refund and told me to keep the cards.
Happened to one that I sold, it was roughly a $100 card, I think I ended up working a deal and letting him keep it for around $40, so regarding fee and inconvenience fee, I wouldve only given full refund if he returned the card...
Just imagine receiving a Ken Griffey Jr ud rookie that shipped in a plain white envelope (PWE). WHEN I GOT IT THE TOP PART WITH THE LABEL WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN OFF THE SLAB! PWE is worse than a bubbler....
I had a guy take out the card with a screw down a 1/1 card and damaged the corner and said he lost the screw, I didn’t have to refund him but I did and then he left negative feedback, the joy of eBay, claimed he received it damaged
partial refund the cost to reslab
Take the L and don’t purchase from that buyer again
Definitely want a refund. Return card if he wants it back.
22$ me personally im refunding and you can keep product to do as you wish….but 100% atleast a partial refund
Definitely leave that feedback so others know they package their stuff like that
You gotta change the battery in the fire alarm
At minimum a refund of the cost to re slab.
He can pay for my reslab or give me a full refund honestly. Take his L and learn how to package better
Fully crack it..and send to PSA my guy

That sucks! bubble mailer with a slab inside, unprotected, I record a video opening it to cover myself. Hope the seller takes care or you.
Ebay has the procedure for returns of this nature. No fast fix but you gonna get fixed.
I would expect the cost to re-slab

A good seller would refund you immediately. They take the loss you keep the card.
