Full refund. He can file a damage claim with USPS and get his money that way. Nobody has to be out any money. He learns to ship safer. Always a bummer when that happens though! Definitely avoidable.

File an insurance claim for the full amount and then re-slab. Things happen and it doesn't seem intentional. I don't think negative feedback is warranted.

Ebay has the procedure for returns of this nature. No fast fix but you gonna get fixed.

Had a card show up damaged, was sent through the global shipping program. Was a 2 card lot, only 1 card had damage. eBay gave me full refund and told me to keep the cards.

Happened to one that I sold, it was roughly a $100 card, I think I ended up working a deal and letting him keep it for around $40, so regarding fee and inconvenience fee, I wouldve only given full refund if he returned the card...

I had a guy take out the card with a screw down a 1/1 card and damaged the corner and said he lost the screw, I didn’t have to refund him but I did and then he left negative feedback, the joy of eBay, claimed he received it damaged
