What is right with the Restoration plea? In this lecture given at the Harding University Lectureship in 1981, brother Jimmy Allen makes the case for Restorationism. Jimmy Allen was an evangelist and longtime professor at Harding University. In this sermon, he powerfully explains the plea for biblical, undenominational Christianity.

Brother Allen was one of my professors at Harding a little over 20 years ago. We all loved him so much. Such a great Evangelist.

I remember Jimmy Allen in a meeting at the Huntsville Alabama coliseum in 1967. I was a student at Lambuth college at this time on a basketball scholarship. I was an usher for this meeting. There were many conversions. One of the members of the church was the director of the YMCA. Every night after the meeting we and others would meet at the Y about 10pm and play basketball. We would play until about 11:30. I remember Jimmy running out of the Y jumping over parking meters with only his gym shorts on. He was a great leader of the church and also a great athlete.
