I MADE MY OWN POCHADE BOX FOR PLEIN AIR PAINTING! (DIY for non-handy people/Homemade)

Hi guys! Just thought I'd share how I created my own pochade box using a simple wooden box from Michaels. I wouldn't say it's a complete success (so many mistakes!), but I did end up with a finished product I can use and happy with...it is lightweight and small.
Materials used:
Wooden Box by Artminds from Michaels ($8.49Cdn)
From Home Depot: Varathane Clear Finish spray, Everbilt Narrow Hinges Fixed Pin (2 in.) and Everbilt Right Hand Curved Lid Support
Piece of wood moulding
Ronnie Williford's Painting in the Field online class which has great instructions for how to make your own pochade box using a cigar box that you can mount on a tripod:

the side that you put wrong harware on put wood glue on and then rub saw dust on and fill holes.
