I use to mow a large cemetery with two of those mowers and they did good. We kept the decks clean and also coated the underside of the decks with used motor oil to prevent the wet grass from sticking so much. We ran gator blades on them to.
The brackets can only grab onto the bar from either right or left mounting positions. You can’t mount them wrong. If the deck still looks uneven check the tire pressure. If it’s off a little it could make the deck lean
