I hate when I have to crawl under my tractor to remove the mower deck. It just hurts getting down and back up. Glad you were able to mend the holes and get new blades installed. Wow, the cost of an entire mower deck will probably be quite pricey. Hopefully you can get this one to hold up for several more seasons before you have to fork out money for a replacement. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a merry Christmas. 👍🏽🙂
A thanks a for the video.... I noticed your u bar support bracket is not inserted into the support block. This is the round bar that supports the rear of the deck on the left side. I noticed this on your video because mine was the same way. Follow the U bar upwards until it meets the frame on the left side. A ratchet tie down strap works to squeeze the top of the U Together so it can be put back in place....
A good pry bar of the proper size will help you re-insert the U shaped support bracket into the little support block. I had the bar get knocked out of the support block afte hitting something and I used a pry bar to get it back in, which worked nicely.
I would NOT under any circumstances ever use that deck!!!!! The deck is missing part of the frame on the outside edge where the discharge chute covers, and it also appears to be missing the discharge chute, UNLESS it was re-attached later on. Still, that leaves TOO MUCH blade exposed and increases the chances of someone getting injured or that blade cutting something you don't want to cut, like maybe a gas line next to a HVAC unit. That deck needs to be replaced, and then install the discarge chute!!!!!!! JMHO!
BTW you have awesome videos.
