Fun fact: Buildings at Disney World tend to stay under 200 feet tall, because any buildings over 200 feet are legally required to have a airplane blinker, even though all of the Disney property is a no-fly zone, and the blinking red light would be able to be spotted very easily at night. Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the tallest building in all of the parks at a height of 199.5 feet, with the Tower of Terror being just shy at 199 feet and 1 inch.
Finally a fun fact that is actually fun

As someone who has spent a lot of time in Tokyo, I literally cannot figure out how they're going to fit all those massive buildings there. There's actually no space left in that city
I think the idea was that they would be built in Tokyo bay or in the sea. There’s no land left but there is water. Obviously those buildings are never going to get built though, they are far from realistic. There are a lot of oversights in the ideas.
There were plans to turn the bay into a mega-city, obviously not going go happen but it has been proposed.
The Japanese are so insane that they would just simply expand tokyo
The planned constraction site for tokyo tower of babel was all inside the Yamanote line. The resident population is 30 million.
@@rachelcookie321 yep, they were gonna build the pyramid building on the water, although it was very dangerous if one of the metals collapsed, they also wanted to build buildings on these plates in the ocean, that would prevent floods and other weather, although that never happened.
Imagine being a window cleaner at the top of the Tokyo Tower of Babel.
They would literaly need oxygen masks lol
Jack constantly screaming and getting shocked by how high the future buildings will be, and Jack losing his mind, made me die laughing 😂
Huh
@@thepartofgaming at the end, with the future projects
Yeah! That was so funny
Thanks for sharing
I know right
If the Tokyo Tower of babel was built near where I live, I'd be scared to go outside lmao
Yeah me too I’d move
Taller than anything on earth
Same
you will probably need oxygen to open the window, I know at Everest high there is not enough oxygen so you have to use oxygen tanks
it'll take 100-150 years to build fully, i'll still probably live to that point because humanity is getting better with technology every year and healthcare too so i'll live (maybe)
3:06 He couldn’t have been more wrong
Yeah man, mecca is basically the symbol of Islam. How couldve he guess Israel.
Mecca is the holiest city in Islam. It is the city Muslims make a pilgrimage too for hajj. Because of this, only Muslims are allowed in the city. The city even has a high-speed rail station where you can take Spanish-built rolling stock from Jeddah and Medina (another holy city) to accommodate the crowds, plus a metro system that only runs for one week every year for hajj.
As someone who went to Mecca, I can’t believe he thought it was in Israel
Did you?
@@uthmaanmayet If he was a politician and said that it would have ruined his reputation.
@@Nameless_king_1 yep

They plan for the Tokyo Tower of Babel to be 10,000 meters, which is literally taller than Mt. Everest. Think about that for a second.
Already did I also thought about the fact that if it were ever to exist it would probably take people days to get to the top floor
they would lose oxygen up there

The Shard isn't the third tallest in Europe. Four skyscrapers in Moscow are taller than the Shard (Mercury City Tower, Neva Tower 2, OKO: South Tower, and Federation: East Tower), as well one in Warsaw called the Varso. But the tallest out of all in Europe is the Lakhta Center in Saint Petersburg as shown here.
Yup, NYC has more impressive skyscrapers than you think. The Chrysler Building was once the world's tallest building as well, but that only lasted not even a full year from May 27, 1930 to May 1, 1931 when the Empire State Building opened (which in turn was surpassed by the WTC North Tower in 1970). NYC doesn't mess around, though they have become more generic as of late like the Central Park Tower at 1:46
ayo i see you every where you comment on The Urban Rescue Ranch
as well
@@edplayssims Why Asian? In Russia, skyscrapers were built with an eye on the United States
@@edplayssims there is a whole area in Moscow dedicated only to the skyscrapers. So it doesn’t conflict with the historical skyline of the city. Although Moscow is already kind of a mess in that regard.
I'm sorry idk why i said any of that it was just a mix of something i remember from a video and my own theory about it
@AverytheCubanAmerican nyc is going even bigger now, and the currently planned towers now are far from generic
1:02 imagine how surprised jack will be when he finds out that is in north korea
Ohhh yess i forgot its in north korea
Even though I've lived in Tokyo since I've been born, I haven't know that there have been a lot of amazing building plan.
I think it's normal since they are all canceled or just proposed projects
Because they were in the 90s? Japan at that time was very optimistic about the future, so there were a lot of strange assumptions. Today's Japan is very different.
I think most of those "visionary projects" are going to not be built, but they are still so cool to look at in simulations even though i know its not going to happen
The visionary projects are basically just bored advanced architects. They are designed for fun. Not to be built.
They aren’t actually planned to be built. They are very unrealistic and aren’t possible to actually be built. They were just an idea.
Jack: Tokyos not that big

Population wise that is
@@STB4G still 3rd by area
yeah, still not big enough to fit a building that's ~15% taller than Mount Everest like that last concept though
@JustTheJames it would've been built on the water
As of 2023, The Leonardo won't be the tallest in Africa. Both Egypt and Morocco are set to topple it with the Iconic Tower at 385.5 m and the Mohammed VI Tower at 250 m respectively. Egypt's tower is located in the New Administrative Capital, a completely ridiculously planned city that their government has built. Which also includes the world's tallest flagpole.
Thanks for the compliment for our Ryugyong Hotel, Jack! We appreciate your support for our glorious movement for a better world. Juche is the way. Our pyramid is actually taller than the Great Pyramid of Giza, as theirs is only 137 m!
