      Uh huh... but no matter how much you love sharks, sharks don't love you and will ALWAYS look at you as a potential food source and nothing more. The love is a one way street and don't let your emotion cloud that. Love them from dry land. I wont be one bit surprised when this woman is killed by a Great White if she swims with them often enough. I don't know how often she's doing it but if it's often, the odds will turn and she WILL be killed.

      crack shot She swims with sharks almost every day, and with white sharks every season. This is a woman who has studied shark behavior for years at university and has been diving with them for years. I think she is smart enough to calculate a shark’s behavior and if it is aggressive, she will get out of the water 😒 so dont worry

      TBF, those are used for medicinal purposes, rather than simply for consumption. It is very wrong thing to do, but the Chinese have 2000+ years of such history so they do not think it is wrong.

      I'm a Malaysian Chinese who loves sharks and I would like to ask that you don't just blame one whole race, it's like blaming the whole of Islam for 9/11 the fault is not in the race but the culture, but I can tell you this, something really amazing. This can actually change, I stopped eating shark's fin soup 5 years ago after finding out what actually happens to these beautiful creatures and sometimes my relatives would try to get me to it over those years. However, I held strong and every time someone served shark's fin soup I absolutely refuse to do it, and every time when someone asks why I don't do it I give the full scientific explanation and once I even had a whole table refuse to eat the soup just because I said that. So the main message is people can change and we just need to try

    PFTH!!! Proving that TEDX Talks aren't only for real experts. Who needs to hear this??? Ocean is a PR princess who knows how to make it while she can. She's a threat to marine life and humans. Why doesn't TEDX have all the university and government ecologists who've condemned Ocean's "work" (play) on stage? She's a narcissist who may indeed love sharks, but she cares more about branding herself than saving them.

    Some people have a certain aspect of themselves that animals understand. When I lived in Idaho I had a huge grizzly bear that came in my yard one day. He wasn’t mean or agressive, just curious. I immediately ran inside a d grabbed my rifle. He rolled over on his back and started rubbing it on the grass. He never got close enough for me to pet him. He was just hanging out. I never fed him so he had no reason to come. I think he just liked my company.

    Sorry lady, ive seen your videos, You swimming around big sharks great whites, etc, and in every case, your taking an enormous risk. Man has domesticated many of earth creatures and animals, but every year man is also killed by those same domesticated animals. No matter how much you think you know about animals, they are still animals, and animals have a mind of their own. And no one knows the depths of those minds. i like dogs, but i would never fully trust a dog because its a dog. if i provoke it, it can attack me however unlikely as its owner. as for creatures in the wild. ppsst. forget that. so, swim with the sharks if you must, but just know, there has been many before you thats done the same thing, and the day they get attacked its always 'i dont know why it did what it did, sob sob while ones leg is missing'

    • @thelardking3678

    here in the Balearic Islands there are sharks of different species and the great white of South Africa... apart from Orcas. The Balearic Sea is rich thanks to the Posidonia and the richness of the species that live and are protected. Years ago there were great white sharks of 6 meters. • @cased8011
      @cased8011 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah but the think is that because of said fear that’s also part of the reason why we are making sharks go extinct. That’s exactly what she was talking about. But, what people don’t realize is that we have nothing to fear from sharks in the ocean because the chance of getting attacked by a shark is next to nothing it’s 1 in over 3,000,000 and what people don’t realize is that we need sharks.

    I love sharks. I may have seen them in Sea World. There were kind of cool. One time, I saw a man capture a small shark on Daytona Beach, it was cool and I record. He just used a dead fish to lure the shark. But since I saw the presentation, I felt bad for the small shark. I don't like how the sharks got their fins cut. It is stupid. And I like Ocean Ramsey, she's beautiful and made sense about sharks. They should be save. I think we have to understand them like Ocean did. They are species living in the same Earth like us. Let's not lose hope for the sharks.

    I so love your videos and I watch all the time. I have learnt so much about sharks that now has changed how i feel about sharks. Now she continues to roll you more facts. Why do we keep upsetting life's balance on earth 🌎 and its oceans......

    Lots to do in Singapore on shark fin soups. Such a developed nation still allowing it. Please lead with example. Ban it.

    The oceans' ecosystem needs sharks to survive. We've done so much destruction it's mind blowing. Every one of these great whites is an individual. People, groups, governments need to stand up and take forceful actions to stop this pathetic global slaughter.
    If I was a government or a king, I'd defend sharks/whales et al with cannons in my navy up to and including the use of torpedoes if a poaching vessel responds violently to the use of this just force. All governments have to do is stand up and do something to defend the oceans that doesn't include playing silly war-games with each other. The goodwill they'd generate in the world for doing this...the nationalistic fervor they could generate from doing this!

    One of my greatest wishes is that humans stop hunting sharks or extinct themselves before they can do more damage.

    I was actually never scared of sharks, one of the reason is because i surf, and i love scuba diving, and I love them, they are beautiful. There was one time when I was young, many times actually, I wondered why do people kill sharks just for their fin? It does nothing for you, and people can not suspend another’s life just for one thing that satisfies the need of a person.
