I received my KO II today and have been experimenting. The only interaction with the PC is via the browser based Sample Utility. It lets you copy samples to and from the PC. It does allow you to do some editing of the samples in the app, but there is no pattern or project saving as far as I can tell. I have not played with it in Ableton Live yet. Not sure if the non-midi patterns will send midi to the DAW without explicitly making the instrument a midi instrument. I'm not clear how the midi stuff works. Will hook it up to one of my Synths and also to Ableton tomorrow to better understand how that works.
Nice tutorial. Can you then take this project and then export via stems to a DAW as audio, to finish it off? Like your stuff. Might use *edit* for those belches tho. LOL

Is the "Timing"/quantize setting per-step/track/global? Can it have, say, the kicks in 1/16s but then the snares in triplets or dotted 1/8s?
