⚠NOTE : For this to work make sure your KO II is set to MIDI OUT. Press Shift + Erase. Type in 102 then press enter. OUT should flash across the screen. Also, make sure you select your Volt 1 as your in & out in audio preferences. Now your in the driver's seat.🚗
Great tutorial, but you should know that KO II sends midi sync over the USB you plugged in! The other midi connections are extraneous. I just tested it over USB. Seems to work great.
I may know but others may not. We can't assume everyone is approaching this at the same level. Hence the saying explain it to me like a 5 year old 😎. Lastly, you should know these devices don't always work the way they are supposed to. 💯
you should be able to send all tracks simultaneously thru usbc with clicking one button to abelton.. I do that with the fantom8. you don't have to do track by track.
@@bassrobotics yes!! I transfer 16 audio/midi tracks from 1 usb cable straight my fantom to abelton, so the ko2 should be able to that also.. I had to set up in abelton first to accept all 16 midi/audio which I saved as a template so I can always get back to it...teenage engineering could of made this easier...ko2 has a usbc port so I think with an update this all can be fixed..
@@MIKEMOKRONOS Interesting. Well I tell my people on this channel do what works. There is no right or wrong. I would like to see how that works though. Do you have a time stamp you could include in your reply? Also, remember the KO II is a bit limited so it may not have the features of the fantom8.
I agree but your work and ideas are way more valuable than the time spent doing this. According to TE they are dropping an export and save update. When is the million dollar question. Thank you. Appreciate the comment buddy.💯
Yes. Don't turn the gain up loud, you will get air in the recording. Turn the gain down as low as you can and boost it in post. Let me know if that helps.
For some reason I followed all the promoters but it’s still not working for me. The feed isn’t showing on the software. I’m using a presonus usb interface. Is there a way you can help me?
Hey man. I have to be honest, I am still trying to figure it out too. I cant find anything out there on it. I have poked around on Logic as well, I cant figure it out. Crazy!!!!

It should. Concept is pretty much the same for all of them. Just make sure your settings in the machine are correct. Ableton settings stay once you put them in. Try it, let me know the result. I'll pin it. Thanks.
You mean a project you have taken off? If so, why would you want to put it back on? If you have it in a DAW, you’ve moved on to bigger and better things bro. Worst case scenario, if you insist, you can sample it back in track by track.
@@stuntmanmadeit well if that’s the case I would just resample from Ableton and loop the performance or something. The workflow you’re talking about would be kind of hard on the KOII. I would probably break out the SP-404 for live DJ sets.
You can't... essentially, because this is not an export process. Teenage Engineering is supposedly working on the export functionality for a future firmware update.
@@jedcappelli3206 You are welcome to wait for that if you like. In the meantime This process doesnt hurt. Call it what you want….exportng, recording, tracking, solo etc.

I get a load of USB ground noise when my EP133 is connected to the PC and audio routed to interface. Have you done anything to prevent that?
Is your PC power supply properly earthed? If not, it can create problems. Also try a different usb cable and port.
