In this little chat, I am sharing 10 tips and tricks that I have learned on my crafting journey that I wish I would have known when I first started crafting. Even though, I could make this video hours and hours long, I am sharing my first list of 10 tips and tricks with hopes that you will find them helpful on your journey.

Hi Delonda. I messed up by not labeling my vinyl, so now I take the label and insert it into the middle of the roll. On the mat cover, I write ON with a marker to show the right or wrong side, but I like your little cuties better, so I'm going to print those, lol. Congrats on 161,000 subscribers. Thanks for sharing those tips. Honestly, they will help newcomers. When I began with Cricuit, I made many mistakes and bought things I did not need, because I did not know. All the tips are good but my eye opener was labeling the vinyl. I have so much vinyl and always figuring out the type and temp setting. My 2nd favorite is using same type of vinyl when laying. Thanks for the tips.

As always, great tips with your sparkling attitude!! My favorite tip is the five household items - I buy extra for crafting and keep in the craft room (so I'm not sharing with the rest of the household..lol). I love the canva program and it was a learning curve but there are so many helpful you tubes and I take it step by step - the projects I have designed and created have my personality and I LOVE it

Thank You for all of your videos and knowledge. It is always helpful to see tips and tricks even though you might already know them. I like working with Silhouette software, but I don’t like cutting with the silhouette machine. I work sometimes with both cricut and silhouette.

These were great tips. Especially #10. I love my Cricut Maker, but Cricut Design Space is hit or miss some days. I just started learning Canva and I like it.

I use slap bracelets with a label on it. Saves me accidentally getting tape sticky on the vinyl from sitting too long.

Oh boy, I have the same problem with my vinyl. I have drawers for HTV, Glitter HTV and Puff HTV now. and one drawer for regular vinyl. some I have no idea what brand it is.
Same! Now, I label right away.
I need to get in habit of labeling my vinyl.

I wrote with permanent marker what each grip mat cuts to help with the mat cover going on right and, so I know which one I need to grab to cut what I am working with that day. :)

Did not know the right or wrong way to place the cricut cover protector. I did label some of mine but they probably are on the wrong side. lol
Also yes labeling those vinyl rolls is helpful I also roll up the cover page and stick it inside the tube if it has a cover page.

Delonda I always gleam useful crafting tips from you. Sometimes when I am on Amazon searching for vinyl, some brands describe the vinyl using PU vinyl, do you know what PU stands for? Thanks you

PU Vinyl is made with polyurethane and it soft and flexible.
Have made some designs in Canva. But don't know how to cut it out with my Cricut. But give me time I will learn.

Hello, do u have a tip for how to get printer out of idle mode. My lights were off for three days. when they came back on, printer was in idle mode. I have watch many videos. (2800 series). I love your videos. most of what I learn is from your videos. Thank You

Hello, how’s everyone doing today?
I have a question if you measure something at 5 3/4 width is that what you put in cricut design space as 5.34 or do you find the decimal for 5 3/4 i mess up so much vinyl trying to get the right size
I am trying to print out the stickers but it will not print. What am I doing wrong? I hit print and cut and then it will not print .
As soon as I get a new matt I write a 3 in the corner of the clear cover. Put in on wrong 3 becomes E for error
