My niece’s best friend’s brother moved to California years ago and was friends with Alison Arngrim. My teen niece and her friend flew out to visit him in the early 90s. My sister collected Ashton Drake dolls and had the LHOTP collection. She took the Nellie doll with her and they got to meet Alison Arngrim. She has a picture of Alison Arngrim signing the doll and she was very kind and gracious to them and to sign the doll.
I saw this video was 2:11 and I thought, “I can’t watch any TH-cam video for over two hours!” I started watching thinking I could just step away at any time but I couldn’t! I was mesmerized the whole time. What a joyful, fun, exuberant two hours! This video was perfection and made my whole day ♥️🩵♥️
I will get into TROUBLE for not getting my housework done watching this one! I LOVE IT!! Matthew and Alison you two are FANTASTIC and I HOPE to meet you VERY SOON! So come to Central Florida PLEASE!!!🙏
Great convo with Alison! Nellie and Mrs Oleson were absolutely gay icons. I was just a kid so at the timei didn't know why they were my favorites....they were just fabulous! And lets be honest, Patrick, Linwood, Dean....all easy on the eyes!
OMG this was FABULOUS. Alison is always so chatty and happy, I would love to see her back again and Dean too. Thank you for this, I LOVED it - Hugs from Scotland 😊
I absolutely LOVE the behind the scenes chit chat. It's fun to learn about how the butter is churned, so to speak. I'm amazed at how handsome Patrick still is, some men look amazing in silver. ❤
Patrick! Hearing about the fans at these events dressing up reminds me of a story. Not long after seeing one of the Star Wars movies where a cloaked nerd 😜 stood up and announced, “This row is for the Jedi. Padowan learners sit down there!”, I went to see Sex and the City. The line was full of Carries and Samanthas and Mirandas and Charlottes. Heels and hats all the way. I turned to my niece and said, “Do you see how nerds come in all shapes and sizes??” There’s no shame… We’re all kind of nerds about something! Love your show!😊
Hey Patrick. Nice interview with Allison. I went to the 50th anniversary. Since then I went on three bus tours of Walnut Grove. I live in Simi Valley and waited over forty years to get to see Big Sky Movie Ranch. I did some filming on the tour. For me it was the ultimate filming location. And walking on the Ingalls driveway.
I love this so much!! Jag and Little house on the prairie. I read all the books. Nellie was so mean! I made my mom make me the cinnamon chicken that I think you made on the show for your boyfriend or something I can’t remember.
I'd love to see her JUVENILE JURY appearances. The SLA shootout was Thursday, May 16, 1974, and she wrote in her book that her fitting was May 21, 1974, which she mentioned here was Tuesday. I'm glad you talked about "The Cheaters". Alison wrote in her book that being in "that time of the month" made her act even nastier than usual. I remember watching that episode first-run in Nov. 1978 and thinking the show was over at the end of Act 3, when Andy was about to be taken to the "woodshed". I thought Nellie was going to get away with it all, but then Act 4 had her get her comeuppance from Andy's mom and her own mom, who was only mad that Nellie had embarrassed her.
I have had a bad crush on you my dear. For this episode with Alison Arngrim I feel I am close to you both. I would love to meet both of you but not sure how since I am on COPD and I can't travel without a Real ID. But I think watching these videos I think I am closer than I could ever go. God has made you closer to me this way. Thanks I appreciate what you're doing for us. Yes I wanted to be an actress back as a teenager but I failed. Too late in my life especially with oxygen.
I can’t believe your mom was Polly. How cool Alison……Patrick can not believe I did not know you had a podcast….. You’re fan… tastic, seriously I think because you were on LittleHouse you are a better interviewer with Alison along with your castmates. Because you know each other so well so it’s just Like you both are hanging out and sounds more intimate and sincere
How can I talk to you, Patrick? I am sitting here on Christmas break binging "Dexter" and the scene came where John Lithgow is at the apartment rental and walks up to the sandwich counter. I thought, "Wow that looks like Patrick! I had to rewind and check again! It was you!! So I immediately came on here to say I was so happy to see your beautiful eyes and smile on such a dark terrifying show. LOL! I still remember when I met you in Marshfield, and you gave me the biggest hug, like I was a family member. You were SOOO comfortable to hug! Thanks so much for the wonderful memories. See you again in April at the Cherry Blossom 2025! HNY! ****UPDATE*** I resumed watching and was horrified you got whacked!!!
I read the book, "The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane" when I was in grade school. I didn't see the film until the late 90s. Jodie was excellent in it, however, it would've been interesting with Alison in that role. I watched the first episode of LHOTP when it first aired with my family and friends. I remember watching the intro and my jaw dropping. When I was younger, I watched reruns of Bonanza and knew who Michael Landon was and also saw "I Was A Teenage Werewolf". Our family were faithful watchers of LHOTP, and I considered Alison's character one of the most important characters of the show. I couldn't wait to see Nellie in future episodes. Michael created a masterpiece
I adore her, but I think she had a few too many cappuccino on her drive in…. I at least hope that’s not her normal “level”. They’re both genuinely darling people and deserve everything good in life❤️
He asked her the question I've always wanted to ask her- What her mom thought about Eddie Murphy's Gumby. Now if I ever meet her I'll just settle for letting her know that I forgive her!
Can someone PLEASE tell me all the lyrics to Old Man Tucker?? "Ole man Tucker was a good ole man. Washed his face in a fryin' pan. Combed his hair with a wagon wheel. Died with a toothpick in his heel. Get out the way for old man Tucker, he's too late to get his supper... Am I right?! Are there more lyrics to this song??🤣💙
Great interview. Patrick is so good and looks awesome. Unfortunately, I can only take Alison in small doses. She talks a mile a minute (which Patrick had to slow her down a few times) and, tries to be funny with every word that the interview was a little frantic. I know it’s her thing and the fans love her but for me it’s like chill. I’m looking forward to watching more of Patrick’s interviews. Also, he has the greatest smile and laugh.
It's amazing that Alison Arngrim thinks that she's all that and a bag of chips when she hasn't been on any other TV shows after Little House on the Prairie got cancelled.
Allison is the best story teller EVER!!!

Patrick, I love how honest and open you are with Hollywood stories. Thank you for sharing! This was a fun conversation with Alison!

Amazing interview.

I'd love to see her JUVENILE JURY appearances.

Patrick, I liked the parts you and your brother portrayed on Little House. I would like to meet you two sometime

Alison Arngrin's Father was born in Regina Saskatchewan Canada
Allison I need to find that first commercial you ever in black and white that would be fascinating
Man I can't believe you guys were on room 222 I mean you guys go back to like classic Hollywood
Pro tip, change playback speed to 75% and then Alison speaks at a normal cadence. She's fascinating!
I adore her, but I think she had a few too many cappuccino on her drive in…. I at least hope that’s not her normal “level”. They’re both genuinely darling people and deserve everything good in life❤️

Patrick is still so recognizable, even though he also looks like Santa Claus now.
Can someone PLEASE tell me all the lyrics to Old Man Tucker??

Google is your friend
Alyson, how do you have such good skin after all that sun in your face on the set-talk?!
With her personality....why hasn't she been in more tv & films? Stage acting?
I've recently heard others say something about Jason Bateman being kind of annoying. I love his sister Justine however.
Great interview. Patrick is so good and looks awesome. Unfortunately, I can only take Alison in small doses. She’s amazing.
She is all that and a bag of chips. She's smart, funny, and has done a lot of good in the world.
