Uggg, I asked my husband to help part the back of my hair and NEVER again! His ass dig so deep into my scalp that I thought he was digging for gold😡 so I spent more time getting my parts straight than braiding my hair😅
@@Glamourgyrl88 aww, that is so nice of you to say. I did too...until he tried😩😖. But he does love to brush my hair and what’s crazy is...I can’t even feel him doing it because he does it so lightly 😂🤦🏽♀️

The audio and visual quality was so clear. The methods were clearly explained and demonstrated. Best of all the video was short and to the point. Excellent tutorial and thank you for sharing.
You’re the first TH-camr doing jumbo box braids to leave ALL the accurate hair details in the description box. Omg finally!! 😩 it’s so helpful for a beginner like me
That moment when you have to rewind and watch the video twice because @2:33 baby-girl stole the show. Your daughter is absolutely beautiful and I loved how easy and pretty this style turned out.
I am literally in the middle of trying to achieve this style right now. I just finished sectioning my hair and this tutorial is right on time. Thanks Ambre. Love the hair color
@@dakaivalley7554 I flip mines all the time BC I braid my real hair a tad bit longer, then feed in the hair. Different strokes, different folks I guess. I find it lighter the way I do it too
I had to end up getting an over the door - 3 way mirror, to do my parting in the back. I swear the parting takes up the most time in the braiding process when you're doing your own head. But it's so nice & convenient when you can do your own protective styles. Especially when it comes to touching up braids as the style gets old. If you don't know how to do your own hair...LEARN! I can't wait for the summer time. *Practice Makes Perfect!*
See, I was THIS close to just cutting off all my hair out of frustration but seeing this, I actually think that I could do this with my hair. Thank you!
I did this method (made them smaller and braided down to my calves) this method is SO easy! The hardest part is parting them. Thank you so so much! I feel super empowered that I know how to braid my own hair.
i have a question; wouldn’t the sections be unequal since you take one half and part it into to more sections? i really want to try this method but i’m unsure if the sections are going to look too unequal.
I so love this, I got my daughter hair braided back in February and I’m finally taking the braids out, I have no idea how to do braids and now I can because this was such a good tutorial! Stay tuned....
This is MUCH better than the crochet method. I thought I stumbled on gold finding that method but bayyyybeeee this is it! Thank you!! This technique looks much more like knotless..and alot less tension as well!
I saw a bunch of crochet method and thought it would be best, I even bought the crochet needle ready to go then I saw this. I may try this method instead using one section of hair and that’s it?! Works for me
You will probably not even see this comment but I wanted to thank you. Yours was the easiest method to follow after I wasted almost 2 packs using some other method. Yes I still need to do it again to get used to braiding my own hair but just, thank you for the first method that is.
Amber, take this as a compliment, I took you for a 13 year old teenager, when you said you have a husband and a baby. You have favor from God. Keep given us your talent , because you are a blessing in a time of need. Thank you for sharing.
I really love the fact you went into details about how to add the braiding hair. It was extremely helping I'm always trying to figure out how people are doing it. Your the best 🙂💯
Girl you are a fairy godmother 😂💕 I literally did the braid the first time with your technique!! when I watched other vids on traditional braids I could not get it😓 thanks girl !!
Thank you for this video! I've been doing this technique for years when doing my own box braids, and didn't realize it could be considered knotless braids. You just saved me from needing extra packs of hair to try the feed-in method.
I’m going to braid my daughter’s hair today (20 large box braids) like that but using the rubber band method. I enjoyed watching your video. 😁 Your braids are beautiful!
You are so pretty and so is your daughter. Your hair looks pretty in the bantu knots too. The braids are beautiful. The 1st method was a lot easier in my opinion. ❤❤
THIS! Found you from another TH-camr who used your technique. Finally a method that is quick and fool proof! I have been struggling doing the feed-in method and this made it so simple. Thank you 🙏🏾
Omg this is such an easy clear explanation, and way easier than the way I've been doing it. I'm definitely trying both versions next time I braid my hair ❤
Girrrrrrrrrrrllllllll the baby is adorable and you got the body banging sis!!! 2ndly thank you so much for the video! Very simple easy and I'll be trying this method really soon! The only thing I would probably do is blow my hair out a little simply because of the extreme shrinkage and add some edge control throughout the braid to be certain nothing sticks out. If I were trying this method on a client I'd do the feed in method. But I enjoyed watching this!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✊🏾🥰
I didn’t even make it to 5 mins in this videos and these are my observations 1. SHOUT OUT TO FOR HAVING HUBBY, I planning on doing the same! 2. Telling me that parts don’t have to be perfect 3. Giving me a method that actually seems easy! I AM ALREADY SOLD 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👍🏾

Your natural hair is so beautiful omg. I'm working on going natural because I have so much heat and perm damage, but for now, I'm going for protective styles like these jumbo box braids. Thanks for the video!
Omg literally had my mom help me part my hair for an hour than attempting the knotless braids and gave up lmao than two days later I see this tutorial 😭 I'll be trying this in a week lol
Thank you so much for this video. I don’t have time for that feed in stuff lol this method is better than the method I was using which was still very effective and cute but this is better. My method of just using your natural hair in the parted section as ONE piece and then place the braiding hair under your one piece of your natural hair so your natural hair is one strand of the braid and your braiding hair makes the other two strands and then just start braiding overhand. Comes out great but is best if you already have long thick hair, which I do. But you’re still gonna have to borrow hair from the braiding hair as you braid. This is sooo much better because there’s no hair borrowing involved! Lol I’m rambling but seriously thank you for this!
Your husband did a great job on parting. I’d be in trouble with mine😂 This is the 1st time I’ve EVER seen this technique! This is so cool. I hope I can’t figure this out. Great job!!
