I Love Reset Day! Every 6 months, I completely empty out my Highlander and have her detailed. Then I go through my things to see what I still value and remove the rest. It helps keep my Minimalism in check and it also allows me to switch from my Spring and Summer vibe to my Autumn and Winter mood... The BEST part is that I can completely clean and decorate my Micro Home in less than a day and a bottle of RUM!!! 😅😅😅 Thank you again, I really Love your content!!!
thank you for showing is this! very real. I have a similar setup for my camping car setup - however I throw in a beautiful (cheap) shag carpet piece to make it feel more cozy and bonus - helps with cold underneath and some sound dampening. I also keep a laptop lap desk tray table with foldable legs so I can work "in bed"
Hi pretty girl, don’t say your life’s a disaster. Even if it’s going rough say everything’s alright. Don’t claim anything negative out. Always good. ❤❤🤗
I wanted you to know I really enjoy your content. Your organized, honest and present in a pleasant fashion. I adore travel but cannot now due to health issues. Thankfully, I work independantly just wish I could travel! . Keep doing what your doing! I wish you the best in health, finances and safety. Your a joy!
I love the idea of you checking out of your car and into a *nice place regularly!* Be it an air bnb or hotel or with friends/family. Someplace to really stretch out, to have a nice bath if you wanted, a heartfilling meal be it take out or home cooked, room to reassess your layout, do a deep clean out of the car or make any modifications and really ✨R E S T😌 I think it will make the difference in the longevity of this lifestyle. Be well, take care of you!
It’s a daunting task but after taking the first step it feels so good seeing everything clean and organized. I’ll bet that hot bath was the best. You need to treat yourself once in a while …good for your mind and body! Stay safe, stay happy. 🇨🇦
I’m so glad you got a place for the night to reset. The last two videos I saw with all the wind and craziness was so stressful. I don’t know how you pulled yourself together after that. I wish you had stayed one night to reset and clean out your car and another night just to veg and relax. You are one tough girly!
Hello, at the dollar tree they sell plastic mattress covers to protect your mattress...( This would prevent the mold from getting on your mattress..) .then all you'll have to do if it happens again is to WEAR A MASK and remove thst molded plastic mattress cover.... An replace it with another plastic mattress cover ❤❤❤
Honestly, I am staying in a motel and took out all my stuff from the car that I have been carrying, and when I drove to get my car washed and vacuumed it was so lovely to have a clear back seat. There's synchronicity at work here I think! 😉
Hi, I’m a relatively new subscriber and enjoy your channel as I dream about living a minimalist lifestyle but it will never happen so I like watching those that and enjoying that lifestyle. You’re such a pretty, kind and sweet young person. I have three grown children, two daughters and a son, that are around your age and I find myself seeing my two daughters in you. This probably sounds strange but I get concerned about your safety and well being and I hope you are doing ok. I was very concerned and sad watching you during your video with the terrible wind storms and seeing you be upset, scared and crying. I didn’t like that situation for you as I would have been very sad if that happened to either of my daughters. You are a very bright, courageous young lady and I wish you luck with your adventures. Please be careful and take of yourself. 🙂👍
My question is this when do you know this isn't the life for you? At some point we have to look for signs. I watch therapist Tamara Hill on TH-cam and I consulted with her once on this very issue. She told me something wise. She said "sometimes the road is pointing left when we are determined to go right. Sometimes you have to reset longer than you think to find true purpose." I agree. I had to leave the road and get into some therapy. There is where I found me.
What a perfect spot for a reset day! I’m gonna have to drive thru Kenab twice a yr just to get a “cabin clean” SUV. We have very similar setups! Wishing you the very best for your trip out east…there are amazing places to see…it is a bit harder logistically without all of the BLM areas, but it is doable if you are flexible and creative!
It's really nice that you found such a nice, safe little budget friendly cabin to take care of your stuff and stretch out a bit. It feels good to deep clean. With two dogs and being a fussy virgo I go crazy when things get grungy 😁
Thanks so much for sharing this! You empowered me to approach this car living lifestyle as I am a brand new flight attendant and I don’t make that much and I also don’t spend a ton of time in the city I am based in currently, Phoenix
Memory foam collects moisture. Better to use regular foam. Also cheaper. I don't know if you're using memory foam, but it seems to be what everyone is using. Good luck fixing the mold problem.
What a great idea to stop & take everything out and clean. I’m sure it just makes you feel marvelous knowing that everything is “spiffy” and you know where everything you own is located. Plus it looked like a comfortable little cabin where you could relax, take a long bath and sleep restfully. You deserve the reset too. Happy travels to the East Coast.
Get you a water bottle, put half vinegar and half water. Keep it with you always, because you're always going to have a mold problem living in your car everyone does especially coming to the east Coast. That bleach is so bad and not good for mold at all your going to have to throw that bed matt away because that bleach will ruin it where a mask because your activating mobile sporals in the air. It can get in your lungs make you sick. I'm suffering from it bad. Lol I keep talking like a broken record because I don't want u sick like I got ❤ all that stuff that you have, you need to wipe down with vinegar that spray bottle vinegar that I was telling you about all that stuff in your car on your surfaces, you need to use vinegar and lysol spray
I definitely want to say what this follower did above. My cousins go cleaned mold off an item with bleach the spores got into her lungs and unfortunately at 19 she passed away a week after being infected. Please please heed this info Christine. Vinegar gets to root of the Mold bleach only kills the surface of the mold leaving the root of it behind.
Would love to meet you if you're in the northern East Coast area. The western United States has diverse and absolutely beautiful landscapes.. But the East Coast has beautiful sites to see as well. Looking forward to your vlogs!
I would like to address my concern about you wanting to head east right now. The mid west northwest and east Coast have all been hit with snow and bitter cold temperatures. I would strongly urge you to hold off on your east coast trip until spring. While the weather is beautiful there in Utah its not like that here in NC. Its in the teens this morning. I woke up to my back hurting. So unless you want to winter in Florida I would postpone that trip a couple months. Also in regards to the mold, on your bed I know you cut out alot of the video, i hope you also sprayed that foam with straight vinegar. Bleach doesn't kill the actual mold ot just cleans straight vinegar kills it. Take care my dear.
Impressed how minimal the contents are and all you do with it! Did I miss what is in the roof box? Great time of year to check out Florida here! Cold fronts every week and no bugs or humidity 👌🏼
FL sounds amazing! The box was more recently cleaned out (off-camera) but it contains my backpacking gear, a shovel, ice/snow scraper, some extra "city" clothes, and my car tent.
@ I was secretly guessing the backpack! If you make it down here to the Sunshine state I may be able to share some of my camping experiences. Northerners winter ( seasonal rentals and campers) here so it’s busy season
@ thank you! I’m road tripping Coeur d’Alene to Southern California in a couple weeks so I’m looking at my route. I could detour and make a trip to Sedona through those cabins …just thinking 🤍
Thank for sharing your amazing journey I live out of my jeep wrangler and been in one spot all winter lolololol I no something coming up because my nerves lolol
Watching you is really helping me to take stock of what I have for living out of my car. I have all my bags and bins sitting out on my camping bed and Ive been evaluating everything. Nice cabin. But I noticed those pillows were just throw pillows, about like the hotel I stayed in at the NC coast.
I have one regular pillow for my head. The throw pillow cases are used to house bulky clothes. It's difficult to decide what to bring and what to leave behind. You'll find a balance.
I'm finding that now as I pack my bins according to my needs. My car is quite a bit smaller than yours and I'll probably be traveling with my dogs full time two little min pins. My roommates health seems to be taking a turn for the worse. He seems to have some kind of virus. I hope I don't get sick. He was put on comfort measures a few months back and put a DNR in place so I'm re calculating what I have putting it in one part of the house while I weed through the rest. So much stuff over the years. I don't see myself in an apartment I want to travel@@nomad_unknown
Just a suggestion to anchor down the things in the back of the car so they don't move around if you ever have to slam on your breaks you want everything to stay in its place. Especially the fridge. Happy trails!!!!
I don't have a link listed although the one I got is the Brookstone from Target. However, I just learned that for our lifestyle, you should look for one that is 12v vs. the 120AC to save power.
If your headed to NY, I'd love to buy you lunch. I'm an RN retiring shortly and would love to pick your brains about getting started. Rest areas, state parks, national parks, how to know things are good or get the heck outta here, how to find sites, etc. I'm located Hudson valley about 2 hours outside the city.
Nice reset place looks lovely i wana visit there. Im stuck at extended hotel nebraska for month contract. I miss my vancamping but fighting the cold here got stupid. Its 10° out right now. Got gig $20 an hour security work but im ready to head west! Sacramento or Seattle sounds fun. So Happy trails!🎉🎉
Extended stay hotels can be a nice place to hunker down for a bit! I'm glad to hear you were able to find work. Surely, you'll be back on the road when the time is right. Best!
I would think that you would enjoy a long slide out drawer/platform on the refrigerator side. Platform slide out almost extend full lenght as your full kitchen. Do you have a friend/relative who can keep your back seat if you remove it for more space?
Mine is the Brookstone brand from Target. It's a cozy blanket but if I had known better, I would've gotten a 12v blanket instead of 120AC for my lifestyle.
Pretty crazy how you make things work in that car, all about organization, I've been in my van 5 years, I spend most of my time in oregon and winter months in California and AZ, have you thought about a van in the future, is mobile living something you might want to do long-term?
@Jeff-wb5rt that sounds like a nice travel flow! Mobile living is definitely my long-term plan. I’d like to upgrade to a larger rig at some point but it’s not time yet.
For being a nomad, I appreciate you always put yourself together with beautiful makeup on. That is important I think, for we the audience, like to see beautiful people in the videos. Good job!❤

I’m glad you are experiencing such adventures. But your not going to have a retirement plan with TH-cam Maybe get a small cabin to live in and a career job and take adventures when you can
You REALLY have so much "stuff", clutter piled up permanently in your car though? You need to drastically downsize, get shot of 75% of it all. There is no need to store a lot of food in your car for 99% of the time when you are near shops? No need for a fridge, coffee makers and other modern domestic kit? I store 95% of my food in....... Supermarkets, stores + shops and pop in and buy it a few times a week. You even stay in Supermarkets car parks,so no issues there? I have a few emergency food things stored under my car floor and in a box in my roof box,.... tins, dried goods, dehydrated, pasta, etc. I use powdered milk, if at all. I do sometimes buy fresh milk, but use it on the day to make a fresh fruit shake. A very small cool box/bag keeps any fresh food ok for two or three days, so I don't need a fridge or battery bank to run one. I simply make fresh tea/coffee in a teapot, it works fine,no "devices clutter" needed. You need to be able to see most of your floor, see it is clean and mould free, at least weekly.👌 You will feel lots 'lighter minded' in yourself, freer, less overwhelmed by "stuff" if you massively de clutter too, go minimalist.👌
@nomad_unknown For sure. Whatever floats yer boat eh? Clutter and "stuff" was one reason I went into "car life", to get away from the gadgets+tech. Simplify and streamline my menu and diet I eat mainly fresh food,no waffles, I seldom have coffee, milk or pre prepared junk food. So I don't need half the onboard kit you have.🙏

Thank you for your concern Terry. I'm doing very well so please don't worry.
Once a month I go to a hotel. For me and my vehicle. Just plan for it each month.
Great idea to have a big clean out and move into a hotel for a night or two. Nothing wrong with that! Enjoy!
Nothing like a regular deep-clean to feel reinvigorated for life on the road!
My question is this when do you know this isn't the life for you? At some point we have to look for signs. I watch therapist Tamara Hill on TH-cam and I consulted with her once on this very issue. I'm having fun on the road, when I'm ready to come off, I will. Sounds like you have also found what works for you and I'm happy for you.
Great decision to take this reset. Its very good for the mental and now just start a new chapter! I love your content! Take Care

Early in the year, cleaning and reset happens to me every year. It's freeing.❤
It's so satisfying, isn't it?
Amazing how much stuff you fit in that car! Nicely organized-thank you!
So cool to see this process! We can't wait to have you on the East Coast 🌊🌊🌊
Enjoyed watching 👍🏻 that bath looked absolutely beautiful. Safe and happy travels 🙏🏻
Great idea to clean, and organize your car/home on wheels. You inspire me to clean my car. I will do it when weather gets a bit warmer 😅
Be safe and be happy Christine.
Thank you!
Ready to go again...
Just found your channel not too long ago and I enjoy watching your journey thank you from So Cal😊
Thanks for watching!
Great reset! Thank you for showing the details. I’ll do this when my time in Quartzsite is done. Best wishes on your continuing journey!
Oh yeah, that Quartzsite dust is going to take some time to clear out. lol
Great content! I'm glad I found your channel. Blessings From Texas!
Thanks so much for sharing this! You empowered me to approach this car living lifestyle as I am a brand new flight attendant and I don’t make that much and I also don’t spend a ton of time in the city I am based in currently, Phoenix
I can totally relate! I was once a "broke" Flight Attendant in Chicago. :)
Memory foam collects moisture. Better to use regular foam. Also cheaper. I don't know if you're using memory foam, but it seems to be what everyone is using. Good luck fixing the mold problem.
Loved this reset! It’s so cool to see all you go thru and how you store your car! Thank you for sharing!
I'm doing exactly the same thing at this moment in every way! 😮💕
Thinking of you and always wishing you the bestest everyday!!!👍👊🏼🙏🏼❤️

Would love to meet you if you're in the northern East Coast area. The western United States has diverse and absolutely beautiful landscapes.. But the East Coast has beautiful sites to see as well. Looking forward to your vlogs!
It’s always a relief to feel organized!
You're right! I need to do this.
Hey girl, have you ever thought about maybe getting a little bigger rig?😊
I think about it but now is not the time.
I don't see a link for that fire blanket in your list. First I've heard of such a thing. I want to get one!
I don't have a link listed although the one I got is the Brookstone from Target. However, I just learned that for our lifestyle, you should look for one that is 12v vs. the 120AC to save power.

It was Great to see Fabio the Nespresso make a cameo in the video! Lol
Haha! Fabio is a real character. In fact, my favorite character.
How do you use the Nespresso in the car? I got one and tried to use it and I burned the cigarette fuse and had to change it
@ralucatopor I run it off my Bluetti AC 70. You have to make sure you have a power supply that can provide enough wattage for the device.
When you make your way down the east coast, make sure to stop at Everglades national park in flamingo, it’s so beautiful there🥰
Thanks for the tip!
Loved your vehicle hygiene.😊
It would be fantastic to know what/how many free camping/boondocking opportunities are in the NY/NJ/PA Tristate area.
From what I’ve heard, there aren’t many.
Yoouu sure know how to pack !!!
Do you have an electric blanket that plugs into the car? I think that under you while you sleep would make a huge difference in the cold weather.
I do! And it does help a lot!
I would think that you would enjoy a long slide out drawer/platform on the refrigerator side.
Platform slide out almost extend full lenght as your full kitchen.
Do you have a friend/relative who can keep your back seat if you remove it for more space?
I thought about removing the back seat recently and I really like your idea! Storing the back seat is the biggest dilemma.
Wouldn't your mom keep that seat for you? Just a thought. All of my seats will come out but the driver seat@@nomad_unknown
Where did you get your water setup from? That's looks pretty handy. Great job of your videos 👍
It's the Dometic brand, purchased at REI.
Buy a new mattress. I don't think the bleach is going to fix it.
What electric blanket do you use?
Mine is the Brookstone brand from Target. It's a cozy blanket but if I had known better, I would've gotten a 12v blanket instead of 120AC for my lifestyle.
Can't You just stay 2days at the cabin if you need pause & rest?? 😊. Thank you for posting !
I could if I felt like I (really) needed it but I was okay.
Where are those cabins located please? They look great!

I don't know what that is, please explain. (I tried googling)
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
❤I love you so much you look so beautiful 😍
I’m glad you are experiencing such adventures. But your not going to have a retirement plan with TH-cam
Maybe get a small cabin to live in and a career job and take adventures when you can
You must be a boomer
Put your protein in a ziplock bag
You need to be able to see most of your floor, see it is clean and mould free, at least weekly.👌
You will feel lots 'lighter minded' in yourself, freer, less overwhelmed by "stuff" if you massively de clutter too, go minimalist.👌
My setup works for me. To each their own. :)
@nomad_unknown
For sure.
Whatever floats yer boat eh?
Clutter and "stuff" was one reason I went into "car life", to get away from the gadgets+tech.
Simplify and streamline my menu and diet
I eat mainly fresh food,no waffles, I seldom have coffee, milk or pre prepared junk food.
So I don't need half the onboard kit you have.🙏
