Hi! I've Same model with mic, Sony MDR XB450AP. The wire was broken from the left side of speaker. As you've joined @1:59 but when I cut the wire there was 4 wires...but there is only 2 points on speaker where wire should be connected. How to do it!?
I have two different black wires inside it have 2 wires in one black which is grern and golden and in another black covering it have 2 golden and 1 blue and 1 red what shoud i do which one i should connect
@@SimpleSubash ground means the main power of the two head phones if the ground is not connected and the green or blu wires are connected the audio of the headphones is bad. and if you see two ground wires just see if the two greound wires are big and small the small one is for the mic and the thic one is the main audio of the headphone. at least thats what i know
i have watched many of your videos bro... still not succeeding in repairing my philips headphone. either the vocal coming low or have static noise or jack not getting detected at all. i got Green wire, Golden-Green, Red-blue, Red, Pure Golden wire. Tried soldering on 2 jacks... always a different problem. (thanks to you i can solder pretty well now) Can you help with identifying? Edit: it has a split mic jack too.... if that makes a difference.
Sir or anyone correct me if I am wrong. The hidden wire under one golden wire is green and I have to seprate it and join this golden wire with other golden and leave that hiden green wire alone.

Hello Sharma, I got a Sony mdr-xb450 headphone, while i was getting out of a cab the part of my headphone with the jack got completely snapped by the door so I found myself with just the two side headphones with their cables dangling and separated from one another. Am wondering if this can still be fixed ? The right side has just two cables red and copper/gold (I think) and the left side got blue, green and two other copper wires. Thanks
