    I bought this for my friend for his birthday as we just moved into a new house and he finally has room for a workshop. The bench was very easy to set up th-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh They center support is a little difficult to snap in and out of place at first but at least then we know the bench is secure. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw it came with clamps. I apparently missed that in the description. My friend loves the versatility of the bench. Great starter bench for his workshop and easily transportable all over our property. I wish the bench was a little taller but the other features of the bench more than make up for that.

    In the HWinfo description for temperatures, the left reading is current temperature of the specific component. middle reading is lowest temperature and the right is highest temperature.

    Great built, I'm making one too.
    I think U should quide intake air to the front part of drawer. U can do it with little wall behind the fan. now it blows it in to the back compartment and sucks it out. air will not circulate in front part.

    That was plenty of time for the system to cool down. Cooldown takes place almost immediately after quitting the demanding application. It looks like your actual gaming temps were 68C for the CPU and 71C for the video card.

    i got me a skyreach mini case... and a hdplex... i love the build BUT im very disappointed by the hdplex - its loud and this is basically the only powersupply i can use inside the case...
    i can hear pitched high frequence all the time... alot of ppl complaining about it...
    i think my next build will be something like this def going with a "normal" powersupply with zero rpm mode... i also can use watercooling then!

    Hello, dear friend! I saw your video and was inspired by your idea of a computer built into the table without any special carpentry skills and equipment. I want to assemble my computer components in the same table. I want to ask a couple of questions about the assembly, and I will be grateful to you if you answer them. 1. Does this computer now function in a desk? Are there any problems, comments, complaints? 2. If I understood correctly from the video, then you made a conclusion about the temperature of the computer, that the temperatures are a little high, but is this not critical? Right? 3. Did you find over time additional problems with cooling components or something else? 4. Did you modify the assembly in terms of additional or forced cooling, ventilation etc.? 5. Do you have plans to modernize, improve, modify anything in this computer built into the table? Thank you in advance for your answers! Thank you for the idea and the work done! Best regards!

      I eventually moved the components to a PC case after 6 months of it sitting in there. I didn't use it during this time as I have a different primary computer I used, so I'm unsure if the heat generated over time would have affected the desk itself.
      The only thing about the desk that made we worry was the bottom piece of the drawer as it was quite flimsy. It may have held up during the construction process and filming, but I would have preferred it to be a stronger piece that didn't bend for peace of mind.
      I personally thought the temperatures were at an okay range because I was a relatively mid-range CPU and wasn't doing any sort of overclocking, and I thought there were enough cracks and openings for air to flow through.
      The only things I would change this build if I could strengthen the bottom piece that the majority of the components were mounted to and create a bit more clearance or a barrier for the components so I wouldn't worry about them hitting the tabletop

    hey bud, did u experience any vibration or temperature spikes and dust issue because i am also willing to buil one by myself

    • @daltonlsw
      @daltonlsw  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't recall any vibration or temperature issues, but I didn't game on the system for an extended period of time for more than 30 minutes to an hour? I also don't think I had that much of a dust issue. IIRC I had fan filters installed on the bottom intake fans which probably helped with reducing the amount of dust, but can't quite remember since I also disassembled it and move it into a proper PC case

    Hi, this is an interesting unique build. Just a curious if you put any support on the backplate of the GPU. Also does the riser cable enough to support the GPU?
    Thanks

    • @daltonlsw
      @daltonlsw  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s been a long time since I’ve made this build so I don’t quite remember all the details. I think I put a small object under the GPU just to prop it up so not all the pressure was on the riser cable/pcie slot.
      If I were to try and redo this, I would try to figure out how else I could secure the pcie bracket on the GPU down like how it would be in a case so that it’s not just putting all the pressure on the riser cable

    Was there any chance of facing the gpu with the fans down and cutting two more holes for the fans?

    • @daltonlsw
      @daltonlsw  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think to do that you would need to twist the PCI-e riser cable in order to get it to face downwards. The one I got definitely wasn't long enough to do so.

    Nice video! Im thinking about trying this but I'm curious of how the draw has held up over time. Has there been any sag, or is it still sturdy? Thanks!

    • @daltonlsw
      @daltonlsw  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I left the components in there for about 6 months before I moved it into a proper case. It wasn't being used in that time, so I'm not sure if the heat generated by the computer would have affected the bottom piece. However I would have much preferred to have a much sturdier bottom piece to have mounted the components to as the included bottom drawer piece was a bit on the flimsy side and made me a bit concerned that it would break one day.
