NYC is Letting Crime Surge… On Purpose

  • Recent perception in NYC is that crime is up, and that criminals are running rampant. On the other hand, official statistics contradict the experiences that have captivated mainstream conversations around safety, which has many new yorkers wondering if the city is safe.

If you can’t report a crime because it’s no longer considered reportable or even a crime even though everywhere else it is …. The problem isn’t the crime being down. It’s you covering your eyes as the government and sticking your head in the sand and telling everybody your system works all the wild people are getting harmed and affected by criminals every day.
Eventually, this will collapse because they won’t be able to protect themselves from what’s happening …. But I hope you guys figure it out before it gets that bad.

They're just that braindead. That doesn't mean that the demolition of the social contract isn't intentional-- it absolutely is. But if you're going to burn the world down you're going to need both political grunts who believe they're helping, as well as the pretend opposition who have no real interest in helping. Sometimes the opposition is actually sincere, but in every instance any opposition is too weak to actually retain enough power to create change. And you can forget about somebody coming along that's cunning enough to acquire that necessary power in the first place.

But my report was refused 8 times. It was finally accepted once I removed the list of items stolen. I even went to the police station to help me correct the online report. As a mta operator in Los Angeles I can tell you crime most likely didn’t go down. People don’t report half of the stuff and when they do, they take hours for officers to show up. If crime was down the national guard wouldn’t be there. Rule number one don’t believe the government or the officials because they only tell you what they want to. They lie through their teeth majority of the time.

      Exactly….
If the government talking go look at how they got the information and verify how extensively the statistics researched or what was reported .
If they are only reporting serious crimes, then crime could be going up in your city with minor felonies or crimes, and that affects people every day and regular people who can’t afford to go to court and handle all this and figure out where these people are ….
Eventually will collapse, but by that point it’s so bad that you really don’t want to get to that point … it would be better to do something about it now before it’s too late

In Manhattan someone kicked the father down, and another person pretended to help him up, just to pickpocket him.

Born in NYC in 1980. I was physically assaulted twice from then until the summer of love 2020. Since then… I’ve been violently assaulted four times, had my life believably threatened, been encircled by a group of young (cough) “men” who attempted to intimidate me, and have stopped two females in my life from being robbed and/or assaulted.
I reported not a single one of these events to the police because it will just be a waste of my time. And almost every family or friend I share these stories with has told me they have had AT LEAST one similar attack. None reported.
You’ll never get honest crime stats in an area where the residents know that their justice system will lower felony crimes down to misdemeanors and seek to let the criminals off with little to no jail time. If you want real world NYC crime rates… multiply any number you see by 2-5x and you’ll be closer to reality.
Oh… and all of the above situations I mentioned…
This doesn’t include the dozens more I WOULD HAVE encountered had I not stopped riding the subway and started watching my surroundings much more carefully. I’ve crossed the street or changed directions because I saw something sketchy a few hundred feet in front of me at least 15-20 times since 2020. Something I almost never did the last 44 years. And now I walk or take Uber if a place is far… RARELY opting for the subway. I have no doubt I would have been assaulted or confronted at least a few more times than listed above had I not started walking with my head on a swivel and taken active measures to avoid it when I see something even remotely off.
Adams and anybody else who tells me I’ve just been watching too many social media videos can gf themselves. Been sucker punched, had chemicals thrown on me, shoved to the ground, chased, lunged at, encircled, and harassed. And as of this week, three of my pharmacies have been closed down. Yes THREE. In midtown Manhattan. Surrounded by more than enough people to financially support their business. Gone. Because of theft, robbery, and safety. Seriously… f anyone trying to tell me this isn’t happening. Ridiculous.
