The fact you've been there for 3 years got me thinking about how fast time can pass by. You've achieved so much so far, but I hope you get into the omega tunnel
Hey, been a farmer for a long time. You stressed the point that one of the things you missed most is accessibility to Fresh Produce. I do believe a Geo Dome Greenhouse you could be vegetable sustained. I would recommend an aquaponic tank that you could administer to your plants using aeroponics which would save 90% from traditional grows. I would also recommend some raised-bed Gardens for potatoes and such. Inside windowsill herb gardens are a must. Also a basement can be utilized as the perfect place to grow your favorite culinary fungi. If you would like to bat around some ideas together I would love to assure you food security. Nothing feels better than eating your own food.
Frank Morris- I love your comments about how much Brent has changed over these past three years. I have relatives in Missouri who are Morris’s Joseph Zino, frank and Carl. My G grandmother married Joseph zino morris in 1906. She later adopted her own granddaughter who is my mom and her son was Joseph Eldridge who was the father of mama but weirdly became her uncle. I am so lucky that my great grandparents did this and they raised me as well on their small farm in Ogden Utah. Home for me is always 1021 the address to their lane and property. It was the garden of Eden for me and I loved it there. What fun to climb the bails of hay in the barn and make tunnels to find kittens and for the views from the window at the top. I was free there to roam and explore the river that was the life of the place and Papa knew how to do everything from building the eight houses and planted a tree for every purpose so fresh fruits all summer and canned the rest. Jam had a room for all of the trees produced and the garden was full of vegetables that we grew. We had a milking cow, chickens and pets in our backyard and pigs down by the river and to tease them was the most fun. I’d stand up on their fence which made them run as fast as they could and ram their heads on fence. What fun to watch and enjoy taking them some corn husks as a treat for them and for the cow. It’s weird what they like to eat. Anyway potential cousin. I’m just saying hi. Cindy
@@CindyNeumann4726 Well i am going to say, like as not. We Morris's were some of the first in Iowa, Stockport to be exact .The original Morris land is still partly intact. The cabin (replica) some buildings and a grave yard. You got any Veech in ya? That little bone orchard is chock full of Morris and Veech. See ya Cuz
brent's ability to make a film is fantastic. the shots he gets with his drone, his ability to tell a story, how he is able to just keep talking through the whole video and keep us entertained and informed is incredible. i dont think brent has ever mentioned if he has done some cinematography or filmmaking before, so he truly has a good knack for it!
watching his earlier videos he talks about how he is learning how to film and edit all for the first time. Its really inspiring to see how much he has developed from the first video he created.
He has stated in prior videos that he didn't know anything about it. He has learned everything by trial and error experience. He is doing a fantastic job.
I've found his approach to making content incredibly inspiring. His editing is so fantastic, and that he's just learning as he goes has kind of pushed me towards creating videos myself rather than looking for someone who could do it for me.
I am in London, England, the story of your ghost town fascinates me. You absolutely terrify me every time you go into one of the mine shafts. Watching the progress of the renovations is wonderful. Well done for your sacrifice and dedication. Stay safe, best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Ghost Town Living produces some of the best content on TH-cam. Brent's enthusiasm and passion is so palpable in his videos. I really enjoy the mine exploration and mineral sampling that Brent does with Jason and Dan. The combination of history, restoration and exploration is captivating to watch.
I think it's almost poetic that the lake is returning after all these years, a visual representation of the life, passion and hope filling up Cerro Gordo through Brent. Also goes to show that harships in life may also come with things to be glad about if you are positive enough to look for them. A destroyed road today may be a new lake tomorrow.
Every year you come out with a yearly update, I come back to your channel and it is incredible to see how everything has transformed. The love and hard work you've put into reviving this place is nothing short of amazing. Keep it up, brother!
Been here since the very first video, absolutely gripped in the story of Cerro Gordo, and Brent’s ability to tell great stories. Been great seeing the progress made within the town, heartbreak of the fire and the flash floods, joy at you overcoming adversity and getting stuck in to rebuild. Brent, you are an inspiration ❤️
In my opinion your main library building, with the porch, should have a large journal, like the one Bilbo Bagins used in LOTR, and each visitor should be encouraged to jot down their thoughts on their visit to your town. They could inscribe a note to others, to you etc. As each is filled it can have a place of honor in your second library.
Hi Brent, thanks to your exciting quests for rediscovering the past lives of mining in our area here by Owens Lake. I pass it each time on my way up to Bishop. I've wandered alone a few times years ago taking photos of Darwin and was warned that I was lucky I wasn't turned up missing , by trespassing in unknown territories by disgruntled inhabitants! But, I find it interesting to search for forgotten areas , lost in times past. I'd love to visit your libraries and hotel one day soon. I'll be donating books to add to your collections and think that having a sign in book for visitors should be a great idea and complement your wonderful concerns for our distinct properties, unknown to so many travelers as they whiz past on their way up north towards Mammoth and beyond! God Bless and keep you safe, in your ambitious and exciting journies ahead!
Thanks for being so welcoming to my adventure seeking grandsons, James and Conner. The time you spent with them left a desire for more discoveries at the end of many more dirt roads. I had already viewed a few of your videos and am now subscribed to watch the transformation of your amazing Ghost Town.
SOLUTION buy a flexible inspection camera they have them 10’ft long with a light on the camera end and a 4-6” screen on the other they cost a couple hundred bucks just google extra long boroscope or extra long endoscope. They have some hundreds of feet long but those are loose and not bendable some have dual and triple cameras for front and side viewing.
I was “biting my nails” as I watched you scoot down that degraded mine shaft. It was a relief to hear that you are looking into mining engineers and gaining some experience in that area. I appreciate the contribution you are making in terms of the history of the West and its mines.⛏
My now 5 year old and I have been watching since the beginning. He loves your show. He sent you a Scooby-Doo book for your library about a ghost miner. I hope you found it at least entertaining. From Galien, Michigan- Jenny & Benny
Your past 3 years reminds me of the old saying, "None of us know what tomorrow will bring ... but, in Cerro Gordo tomorrow might just be the best day of your life". There's so much to explore. 💚
Man, i can't express how much i love this channel. I'm from the mojave dessert, right outside of Edwards Air force base, and growing up, my dad used to take me to all the mining towns, i moved to arkansas as a teenager in 1990. I'm married now and have kids. My wife has always wanted to go to California just to see where i was from. We plan on taking a trip there to cali to show my wife, and if you are accepting company, it's my dream to return to a place my dad took me as a kid and meet you.
This channel changed my life, so much so that I convinced my wife to take a road trip with me down to the ghost town. The experience was well worth the mileage and the sun burn lol. After I looked around, smelled the air and took in the beauty, and filled my phone memory with countless pictures, I packed up and started the drive home forever changed with a special love and appreciation for not only the journey, but the story/history. Thanks Brent, your a legend!
This is my favourite channel on youtube by far. It's just so raw, honest and exciting. All from the heart of one man and his love for the place. I wish I was there, too!
Walking around Austin in my Cerro Gordo T-shirt, people ask about it and I love spreading the word! Hope to get out there one day! Thank you Brent for your efforts and your willingness to share it all with us.
If you need help building a garden I have lived on hundreds of off-grid farms all over the country. Growing medical pot, but my specialty was to bring in the food sustainably. I figure I went to off grid school for half of my life. Turning 44 tomorrow. This video reminds me of so much that I was so blessed to be a part of building and bringing forward. I still work in the sticks so I'm pretty open on travel. I think what you have done and are doing here is such an amazing dream come true. Blessings brother!
Three years already?! It feels like it was just yesterday, but at the same time it feels like you've been there for forever. I'm so thankful I found your channel back in the wee days. Thank you for all of your stories, laughs, tears, hardships and accomplishments! I get so happy when I see a new video
Can't believe that 3 years has already come and gone.i have been following all of this from pretty much day one, and realized how many memories I have accumulated through Brent's eyes and the fantastic storytelling he presents. I am that from that country to the north and spend countless amounts of my free time visiting and exploring the old abandoned mining towns up here. Still, as I watch these videos; I can literally feel the aura, the spirit and the history of Cerro Gordo. Thank you Brent for the last 3 years. Thank for putting yourself out here for all of to see and appreciate not just the trials and victories of owning this town, but also the real beauty of it all. Hope to make it down there sometime soon and see it all with my own eyes. Until then I continue to look forward to see it through yours
That feeling, the excitement and the feeling of danger you have when you round a corner youve never turned to. I think there's a word for that. I think its called adventure. I'd love to venture into one of these mines and see what i can find but i know how dangerous it can be.
When I look at my great great grandfather's pocket watch, I try to imagine what life back in 1898 was like. Thanks for sharing with us this beautiful piece of history Brent!
Man is this ever great! I have passed on the two pocket watches left to me, that were my grandfather's, to my two brothers. I have pictures and memories of him to feed my thoughts.
@@Auggies1956 When you pass on an object, it becomes an heirloom. I’ve learned a lot about my family’s history since inheriting this pocket watch, and I intend on keeping the history alive for when I pass on the watch to the next generation
I can't believe I've been watching your channel for three years - from the very beginning. It feels like a short three years, because it's been so much fun, and I'm so glad you decided to share this entire journey with us!
Brett, like so many, I have been here since day one. And everything said in these comments are so true. You are exactly where you are supposed to be right now. The perfect person to be living this incredible journey and sharing your journey. Congrats on the 3 years, and dang son, you can tell a story!
I started watching this channel before our daughter was born. She turns three in two weeks. It’s a reminder how fast time flies by, but also how much one can accomplish. You are an amazing human being, Brent, I applaud you for the hard work you’ve done. And although I live in a small country in Europe, I hope that one day I will be able to visit Cerro Gordo and sit on the sunset rock, too. Yeah, that would be nice. Thank you.
Watching this entire journey from the beginning has been nothing short of inspiring, allowing us to feel a true part of the journey, the history, the rebuild, and the future. What an awesome recap, cheers to the years ahead. If you'd ever oblique to letting an artist come do an artist residency, I'd be honored
Thats such a great idea! I know a lot of national parks do that. Im looking forward to seeing Cerro Gordo someday soon i hope. I can imagine how beautiful the night sky would be, as well as gorgeous sunsets.
Hello Brent. I am an Aussie and I have been watching your channel since the first time you arrived at Cerro Gordo. It was snowing on your first night when your car died. You have done a fantastic job 3 years on and I look forward to every time you upload. I wish you all the very best for the future that you are going to have exploring everything that makes you feel happy. I will be coming to see you in the near future just have to save enough to come and stay and help out with anything that needs an extra helping hand. All the best to you my friend 😊😊 love from Australia. 😊😊
First of all congratulations on that project ! It's been fascinating discovering both the town and your progress on your different sub-projects for it. Clearing the Omega tunnel can probably be done, or at least decently tried, without professional help. The key is to be super secure about it. The way you dived as deep as you could into it got me anxious. Now the video is out so I know you're fine, but I find it to be madness to just slip into any space you can without clearing it as much as possible. Helmets are the bare minimum but you've got that covered. Basically, before thinking of clearing the big collapse, what you want is a clear, fast, exit. You need to be able to trot (if not run) back out. So you've got to clear out all of the other lesser collapses that you climbed/descended. That's a lot of work, because I don't mean, put it aside, I mean, get it completely out of the tunnel. The tunnel is small enough as it is. Then a good idea might be to reinforce the entire tunnel further, because you can't trust the old structure they added. First because it didn't protect them when it was fresh, so now that it's somewhat rotten, it's definitely weak. That's also a lot of work. Then only, I think, you can start realistically thinking about clearing the big collapse. Otherwise, yes, it will probably require professional help, but that's going to cost a lot of money.
It's really cool to hear of a community of miners of that time that focused on the mineral aspect. I grew up in Utah so everything that was taken from the mines before the 1980s shutdown was precious mettles. All the beautiful and some priceless minerals were just thrown to the side in search for the riches of the time. You got a cool spot.
Brent, you're the only thing that keeps me coming back to TH-cam. I love how you're helping us relive Cerro Gordo's past, as well as, how you're reshaping it's future. Keep up the amazing work and please, stay safe. 🙏
Three years of watching you explore, overcome hardships, and shower my eyes with the beauty of Cerro Gerdo. I want to thank you Brent! I hope I'm here for many many more years of mysterious explorations, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and everything in-between. Thank you for everything ❤
I think this is the only channel I was able to watch for 3 years straight, without skipping a video or even yawning once. Good job Brent, you are doing something truly special, your enthusiasm and commitment is mind-blowing. I hope to be able to copy-paste this comment in 3,6,9 etc years from now :)!
I enjoy your determination and explorations Brent. As to your Omega tunnel, Frank, from "Exploring Abandoned Mines," has had a similar issue clearing collapsed areas in his Yankee Boy Mine. He has cleared at least two collapses by digging and loading rock into a mine car and rolling the loads out to the portal. I don't remember how many car loads he has removed but it has been hundreds. As he proceeds further into the mine he adds new timbering. A clear path to the portal would be safer and immensely helpful in removing all of the collapsed rock. A mine car and rail track would really help. Best of luck in clearing the Omega adit, it's very exciting to imagine what lies beyond the collapse! I look forward to following your progress. John

It's amazing just how far you've come on the American Hotel! Also, expanding the library to the cozy cottage is a good idea, perhaps you could put bookshelves in ALL the cabins you're planning on rebuilding? In any case, Brent, Congratulations on THREE YEARS of living in your Home in Cerro Gordo! And Congratulations on the Silver TH-cam plaque!
It's so good to see Owen Lake coming back. Thank you for sharing the great progress you have been making at Cerro Gordo. It is always a pleasure watching your videos! 🎉
My heart starts racing with anxiety every time you start down into the mines. It just scares the hell out of me. Guess I have a real case of claustrophobia that I haven’t known about. So this is a journey for all of us. We’re all learning and discovering from your exploration.
after conning people out of money to build a new hotel after burning down the old historic hotel, the only anxiety I get is knowing that this conman comes out of the mines in good health. people like him are shameless liars who take advantage of people who don't do research before giving out money.
@@HondaSquid if you’re so comfortable bashing this man’s reputation, you should also be as comfortable giving us facts to back-up your statements, because all I see is you calling someone names, which only amounts to one thing: Sour grapes. Those mines and caverns would make me feel VERY claustrophobic. I REALLY want to visit you and the town, but I couldn't do the mines you do- love that you share those expeditions into the mines for us with these phobias. I love getting to enjoy the adventure with only moderate anxiety. Glad to see you're still living an adventure! This is one of my top 3 channels on YT and I LOVE to see an update from you. You've changed my/our life with your optimism, your adveturism, and your "live and enjoy life" and "reinvent/discover yourself" attitude... 5 years ago OUR life fell apart, and barely clawing out of it, I discovered this channel, and it literally changed my life. We were so glad we could send a period era book or two in for the library and we hope they live there for decades and centuries to come. We hope our heart icon was dropped in the mine whose stories changed our lives... we LOVE your work and we (all of us in our DID/Multiple personality system) all wish the absolute best for you and Cerro Gordo. It's changed your life amazingly, and it's changed OUR lives, too... Thank you for sharing these stories, these adventures, and for inspiring so so many like us.
I do believe you get accustomed to the confined spaces, like climbers get used to the height. I think most people would feel claustrophobic, as you've described, but once your confidence grows you would adapt.
This is one of my favorite TH-cam channels! I love hearing the history and stories of what was once a town I had never heard about, told from a guy who really really cares about it! I would love to come visit Cerro gordo one day
Brent you are amazing. I've followed you from day one. Your story is addicting so don't keep us hanging so long. So much more to come I'm sure. Thanks for your sharing of your adventure!
Ghost Towns are so wonderful. It's good to see you restoring one. When I saw the old restored home you are living in , I was reminded of my Great Grandmother's home on Cape Cod. I was about 6 or 7 when we went there to spend a few days before Grandma sold it. I fell in love with the old green wood stove she had still used up to the early 1960's. She had a matching green coffee Grinder on the wall by the stove near the pantry. The best thing of all to me was the beautiful hand pump for fresh cold well water right in the kitchen sink. I was in awe of her Home. The house did have a modern Bathroom though. Anyway it might be fun for you to put a hand pump in one of the kitchen sinks of one of the town homes. Could still run a separate hot water line to the sink. I also want to tell you about my Grandma's summer cottage by a lake. My family lived there one summer while my parents were building our new home. It had indoor plumbing , but since there were 7 of us using the cottage , and it's septic was a small unit for a tiny 3 room cottage, Mom and Dad had us all do our baths and shampoos in the lake. There was a flowering bush that Mom showed us would suds up nice and smelled great . She said our ancestor Wampanoags used it for bathing. We loved that. In the kitchen there was a real oak Ice Box. The Iceman delivered ice to all the occupied cottages with Ice Boxes, 2 -4 times per week . He Always gave us big ice chips to run around with. Last but not least was the Two Seater Outhouse , which we all had to use during the day but could use the real indoor toilet at night if we Absolutely had too. There were HUGE spiders that built webs across the seat holes ! At 5 years old I was terrified of one crawling on my butt. I knew they weren't poisonous , just wicked creepy. Mom made me get a stick myself to wreck the webs and knock the spiders down in the hole. I still have nightmares on occasion lol. Well hope my stories didn't bore you. The two seater Outhouse is the only one I ever heard of . My Grandpa who built it was quite a Character. He'd be out directing traffic for parking for family cookouts in his Red Thermal Long Johns ! Life of the party jokester. Well , that's it, just thought you might enjoy some of these old time ideas for your ghost town. Namaste. Carpe Diem.Loved the Library in the TNT Locker Storage Room. I'm an avid reader too, That would suit me just fine.Enjoy. I watch alot of Aussie opal and gold mining shows. Was a little Rockhound when I was in 3rd grade. Happy memories ,for this 70 plus old lady . Well , phew , enough said lol

So many of us, with comfortable lives, envy your experience so much. Maybe that says enough about what most of us are missing in our daily life experience. Thank you Brent! Cheers to 3 Years!!!
Imagine willfully giving money you worked for, to an investment banker begging for money to build a hotel he burned down to claim insurance on, bought with money he and his three investors put down to buy the land. Kind of embarrassing
@@MechanicalMooCow I agree he should not give this man his money, as he does not need it. But even if those things are true, which the insurance thing almost certainly isn't, that doesn't really change anything.
Guessing that's a no

Brent is now a part of that history.
I was pretty sure he wouldn't last a month.. Musta been the shoes....
Boy, he's proved me wrong, kid has sand. More of his gen could take a lesson!
Cindy
Such a unique and cool skill to have too. Not many people I watch regularly on TH-cam anymore, but you know I’m clicking on his vids
@@CindyNeumann4726 Well i am going to say, like as not. We Morris's were some of the first in Iowa, Stockport to be exact .The original Morris land is still partly intact. The cabin (replica) some buildings and a grave yard. You got any Veech in ya? That little bone orchard is chock full of Morris and Veech.

brent's ability to make a film is fantastic. the shots he gets with his drone, his ability to tell a story, how he is able to just keep talking through the whole video and keep us entertained and informed is incredible.
i dont think brent has ever mentioned if he has done some cinematography or filmmaking before, so he truly has a good knack for it!
watching his earlier videos he talks about how he is learning how to film and edit all for the first time.
Hope you weren't one of the ones who helped pay for it.

Agreed, Brent's narration is incredible.
Discovery isn't a destination, discovery is the journey. Thank you Brent for taking us on this journey.
Agree! And what a journey it’s been. Thanks for checking it out!
Already said it and I'll say it again: The world needs more people like Brent
Thanks for being so welcoming to my adventure seeking grandsons, James and Conner. The time you spent with them left a desire for more discoveries at the end of many more dirt roads. I had already viewed a few of your videos and am now subscribed to watch the transformation of your amazing Ghost Town.
Awesome! That is so nice to hear. Thanks for the note

I'm always amazed how your anniversary videos are never just boring recaps of things we've already seen, it's so often new stuff.
My now 5 year old and I have been watching since the beginning. He loves your show. He sent you a Scooby-Doo book for your library about a ghost miner. I hope you found it at least entertaining.

What is readily apparent is Brent's love of history and passion for exploration. Excellent content and execution. Dude has it nailed.
Brent, get a Borescope with a couple of meters of wire length.
It will probably make scouting a whole lot easier!
Three years already?! It feels like it was just yesterday, but at the same time it feels like you've been there for forever.
I'm so thankful I found your channel back in the wee days. Thank you for all of your stories, laughs, tears, hardships and accomplishments!
I get so happy when I see a new video
Through all of his tragedies, he handles everything so well.
Brent, what you’ve done is nothing short of incredible. You’re a man of destiny

Until then I continue to look forward to see it through yours
ya, can't believe it too
I alternate between excitement and dread when Brent ventures into these really sketchy mine tunnels. 😳 but it’s clear how much he loves it!
That feeling, the excitement and the feeling of danger you have when you round a corner youve never turned to. I think there's a word for that. I think its called adventure. I'd love to venture into one of these mines and see what i can find but i know how dangerous it can be.
been here since year one, moments like this goes to show how much power/change/impact a single person can have on the world
When I look at my great great grandfather's pocket watch, I try to imagine what life back in 1898 was like. Thanks for sharing with us this beautiful piece of history Brent!
Man is this ever great! I have passed on the two pocket watches left to me, that were my grandfather's, to my two brothers. I have pictures and memories of him to feed my thoughts.
Rick from pawn stars will give you $20 for it. He’s gotta frame it, hold it, advertise for it, and still make a profit. $10 is what he can do.
You should play red dead redemption 2

I can't believe I've been watching your channel for three years - from the very beginning. It feels like a short three years, because it's been so much fun, and I'm so glad you decided to share this entire journey with us!
It's not a ghost town....you've given it a heartbeat again. Its alive once more. Great video. I wish you and your little piece of earth well.

Good job Brent, you are doing something truly special, your enthusiasm and commitment is mind-blowing. I hope to be able to copy-paste this comment in 3,6,9 etc years from now :)!
I come from a mining family & seeing the library made me so happy, that their history is being preserved. Thank you for all your hard work. 💜
John
I absolutely LOVE what you’ve done with your TH-cam plaques - I’ve been watching for a few years now and wish you nothing but luck and love. Your passion for this place is so palpable as a viewer I can taste it. Well done sir.

Brett and Cerro Gordo deserve a documentary at this point
that's very true. people should know about the investment firm backing his purchase of the area to turn into a tourist spot. especially the people who donated money to him despite the fact that he got millions invested already. funny how he doesn't share this info anywhere
I haven't finished the video yet, but the thought just occurred to me.. Thank you so much for sticking it out and bringing Cerro Gordo to where it is now and not quitting. You could have given up many times and I know you've talked about the serious struggles you face with mental health and loneliness. But you persevere and provide great content to us here on TH-cam and also an amazing town that someday will be a tourist spot for many generations to come. after conning people out of money to build a new hotel after burning down the old historic hotel, the only anxiety I get is knowing that this conman comes out of the mines in good health. people like him are shameless liars who take advantage of people who don't do research before giving out money.

I would love to come visit Cerro gordo one day
Good to see you back again and looking forward to hotel progress!
Brent you are amazing. I've followed you from day one. Your story is addicting so don't keep us hanging so long. So much more to come I'm sure. Thanks for your sharing of your adventure!
Ghost Towns are so wonderful. It's good to see you restoring one. When
I saw the old restored home you are living in , I was reminded of my Great Grandmother's home on Cape Cod. I was about 6 or 7 when we went there to spend a few days before Grandma sold it. I fell in love with the old green wood stove she had still used up to the early 1960's.
She had a matching green coffee
Grinder on the wall by the stove near
the pantry. The best thing of all to me was the beautiful hand pump for
fresh cold well water right in the kitchen sink. I was in awe of her
Home.
The house did have a modern
Bathroom though. Anyway it might
be fun for you to put a hand pump in
one of the kitchen sinks of one of the town homes. Could still run a separate hot water line to the sink.
I also want to tell you about my
Grandma's summer cottage by a lake. My family lived there one summer while my parents were
building our new home. It had indoor
plumbing , but since there were 7 of
us using the cottage , and it's septic was a small unit for a tiny 3 room cottage, Mom and Dad had us all do
our baths and shampoos in the lake.
There was a flowering bush that Mom showed us would suds up nice and smelled great . She said our ancestor Wampanoags used it for
bathing.We loved that.
In the kitchen there was a real oak
Ice Box. The Iceman delivered ice to
all the occupied cottages with Ice Boxes, 2 -4 times per week . He Always gave us big ice chips to run around with.
Last but not least was the Two
Seater Outhouse , which we all had to use during the day but could use the real indoor toilet at night if we
Absolutely had too. There were HUGE spiders that built webs across
the seat holes ! At 5 years old I was terrified of one crawling on my butt.
I knew they weren't poisonous , just
wicked creepy. Mom made me get a stick myself to wreck the webs and knock the spiders down in the hole.
I still have nightmares on occasion lol.
Well hope my stories didn't bore you. The two seater Outhouse is the
only one I ever heard of . My Grandpa who built it was quite a
Character. He'd be out directing
traffic for parking for family cookouts in his Red Thermal Long
Johns ! Life of the party jokester.
Well , that's it, just thought you might enjoy some of these old time
ideas for your ghost town. Namaste.
Carpe Diem.Loved the Library in the TNT Locker Storage Room. I'm an avid reader too, That would suit me just fine.Enjoy.
I watch alot of Aussie opal and
gold mining shows. Was a little Rockhound when I was in 3rd grade.
Happy memories ,for this 70 plus old lady . Well , phew , enough said lol

The CINNEMATOGRAPHY and editing of your videos is amazing! Great job! The way you edit them and add that storytelling in the background brings that great nostalgic and reflective feeling.. Please be very careful when exploring those mines. Been a blast seing your journey living in Cerro Gordo over the last 3 years, as I`ve seen some of your videos now and then.. keep up the good work :)! Greetings From Norway. God Bless :) !
Wow! Seeing how far you’ve come is amazing. You’re doing something very special here. Well done👍🏻👏🏻
I love that your passion has made so many others feel passionate about history. I watch your videos when I want to remind myself why I don't give up on my dreams! I love this channel. Thanks for what you're doing! Never stop!
What a privilege it's been to have been able to watch along on this journey from the start.
An amazing young man who sure deserves high praise and support living your dream. Making others get as excited and enthusiastic as you for something so look old yet still breaths LIFE. May it keep growing bringing the best to visit and share your passions. 📣
Brent my 3 year old daughter and I love watching your videos. Have you thought about reestablishing the tunnels that have collapsed? That would be a great project after the hotel is completed.
I love these X years in Cerro videos. They always make me emotional because I always remember what was happening in my life the same time you made those videos. My son was born 2020 an everytime you flashback so do I, the music also always hits so hard. I love it and yet I still get teary eyed. Love ya brent, Im so happy you decided to do this and share your journey with us.
Home is where the heart is Brent, and it’s safe to say we all know where your heart is held.
Be safe and well, and never lose sight of your love for exploring, discovering and learning.
Thank you for sharing your home with us, it’s a wonderful place.
What an amazing adventure it's been - by far the one channel I not only keep up with but go back to re-watch episodes often because your journey has been and continues to be an inspiration to follow my own dreams and appreciate the special moments. You've become a Master Storyteller, Brent and I'm looking forward to the chapters to come.
You are an incredibly gifted story teller Brent. I've never been more addicted to a channel or a story. Thank you so much for taking us on the ride in such a vivid, exciting way.
Three years already! Wow time flies. So glad I learned about Cero Gordo by finding your channel and being exposed to the history by you. Thumb up and shared.
Omg that lake coming back is going to be HUGE for that area. Greenery will flourish around its coasts and create new habitats for wildlife. How incredibly lucky you’re going to be to watch that happen in real time
What a journey it's been.
Congratulations on making it this far!!
God bless you and everyone who has helped in making your dream a reality😇
Been here since the start, almost never made a comment but i have so much respect for brent. The way he just talks about cerro gordo and his love for it. Love it. Onto another 3 years!
It's been a while since I've watched, a couple of months I think.... can't believe it's already been three years. First video I saw was around the 6 month mark. Brent is an incredible human being, it's been really interesting to watch his transformation as well as the town. 💕
