i've noticed that they play most of their songs a lot faster when performing live. don't know why, i kinda wish that they kept the original tempo but still love how they sound live
All of their songs are performed faster than the recorded versions I remember them explaining that faster versions work better live as far as energy ( and it’s how they’re used to originally writing and performing the songs) but they actually slow them down for the albums
Like Dan J said, faster is more energetic. But also playing them faster means you don't have to sustain notes as long, or be as precise because the moments pass faster. I have heard plenty of artists claim that faster is easier to get through!
Hang on. Imma gonna have to go ahead and switch from guitar to bass and then imma go ahead and tune it up. While you're singing? Well of course whilst I sing.
This might be my favorite song of all time no lie
me too man
Damn they play this song fast live.
I wonder why 😢

I just came across this song 'randomly' on Spotify . . . . and I listen to it at least ten times a day! . . . . it's kind of bad-ass!!
Just wait till you hear their other stuff.
Zack is the most innovative bassist I've ever seen
Enjoyed ‘seaing’ this :-)
Just became a fan of this song randomly through Spotify a few weeks ago, didn’t imagine the lead singer would look like that.
You need to listen to Pinback's entire catalogue. They're that good.
Such an awesome song.
It’s the voice!!! Great song.
ROB WITH THE CARDIACS SHIRT 🌼
Good to sea rob still plays that beat up lp studio. You know someone is a master of their craft when they relic'd their own instrument.

I didn’t know they were a real band but they sure look like your next door neighbor so next time please say hello 👋
