Hello! I’d like to see what everyone’s thoughts are. I’d like to see if purchasing a Tesla is worth it. I have standard Subaru Crosstrek, I’d like to turn it in via trade in towards the Tesla. What’s your guys’ opinion on that, and having overall a Tesla? One thing that discourages me is the fatty monthly payments. Was the financing difficult for y’all in the sense have high payments? Or did you all purchase it full in cash? I guess the high payment is similar to not having to pay for gas but what you paid for gas being part of the payment if that makes sense? Please let me know! I think it was the bus, because other explanations don't work, and this would happen all the time. So I see it like this. The first car moved because its view was not obstructed. But FSD had to make sure, that there was no danger from the right side, so it moved carefully forward and peeked to the right. It saw that it was ok to go, except for the car turning left, so FSD let it pass, and Tesla proceeded forward. Very interesting and safe behavior.
Don't they learn from Neural Networks or something. I used to drive a lot, like a lot. There exist many times when "the right of way" fails due to aggressive drivers. I would've slowed down as well since the car in front informed that they were in a hurry/did not know/confused/ were about to turn regardless of collision. It's like playing chicken. I found the best drivers prevent those types of situations from happening in the first place. Whether coincidence or not, the event at 2:50 shows that it learned from humans. I'll go research this. If it did not learn from human drivers I'd be surprised! And that's ok!

you have been saying the same since 12.1.2 man :)). Honestly, you have not really had any serious disengagements in your drives because you had the balls and you wanted to "force" the car to handle all scenarios. I myself have tried FSD Beta for about 10 months since version 11. And I have to say, FSD v12 is definitely driving like a human now. However, there has always been some thing wrong with each new update since the very first public version of v12. Therefore, I don't believe 12.3.6 drives smoothly and any more humanlike than any old versions. I'm waiting for v13. :)). Version FSD v12.2.3 was much better compared to version 12.3.4 that I have right now in terms of handling. Version v12.3.4 will stop at an intersection even though there is no stop sign in a local parking street. It will break a lot harder then it should as well. it drives very close to the parked cars on the right, and wont center itself between the lines. All in all, we don't wanna hear any more human like from v12, because it has already done that since 12.1.2 . :))
I agree..took my 2024 X down to Rocky point mexico yea no connection no SFSD. But going back to palm springs area it was drifting off the road. Think rode less traveled and night are still in work and level 4 HW
2:49 - interesting situation... the timing of the pedestrian "looking" like they were about to go, and the oncoming car wanting to turn to it's left, camera's right... FSD erred on the side of patient politeness when it could have just gone forward. Edit, looking closer, if FSD allowed the oncoming driver to turn because it knew it would beat the pedestrians on that crosswalk, it safely speed up everyone's journey with a split second pause. Very interesting.
So within the first seconds the tesla stopped while it has the right away but it stops until that car exits a driveway. No thats wrong and can cause confusion.
A sped-up demo of the latest iteration of Tesla’s FSD is not a good way to convey its capabilities. A tightly edited, i.e. shortened, video clip of the most noteworthy responses in REAL TIME would be a better choice…
Accelerated vid is useful when FSD makes no significant errors. You can easily slow down the vid at any points that interest you or speed the entire thing to zip thru and save time. Editing videos takes more time than it's worth, and raises a question about what we didn’t see.

Mine on 12.3.4 still does things that are not human-like. Supposedly some of that is because of the HW3 emulation on HW4.
