The best part is seeing a couple in love doing things together. So many couples grow apart and it is encouraging to you two so close… literally, camping in a van 😁✌🏻

2 years later and i just want to say you guys nailed it. I will agree fords are built round, mine has more curves than a mountain road in Italy so I had to get creative. With every video I watch I try to take something from them and as simple as it was your sink idea was genius, got one ordered already. My setup is different but Im set up to live in it 24/7/365 when I am ready, or when zombies attack and I need to bug out fast. I like the table design as we love to spend an evening with a box of wine and some cards. The ability to rotate the passenger seat is essential, this is my dogs bed. I like the vents on the window, something to work on. Anyhow, you guys look like youre having fun and if it brings you closer...enuff said.
Has anybody said what a lovely couple you are, five years is the start your going to go far! You've achieved so much together but it's not all done, time to start planing a layout for your next one! (Shane. ..the poet, now you know it!) :-)

Nice. Simple but practical. You van get 1"x1" angle iron and cut to fit under your bed platform for support.

Where’s your bathroom & shower?
We love the simplicity of their gravity water sink! Luggable loo for emergencies and there is a battery powered shower sprayer that is used outside for a shower.
I often see remarks like this and it's important to remind people that 1) public restrooms are EVERYWHERE in the U.S. and Canada, and 2) not everyone needs a full-blown restroom or esp. shower in their van/Class B. Some folks are fine with the proverbial "pee jug" and/or an emergency toilet setup. Showers are also widely avail. at health clubs (Planet Fitness black membership FTW!), the YMCA, paid campgrounds, and truck stops. In between you can do sponge baths, big wet wipes, and such. You're camping, after all.
tl;dr Everyone has different wants and needs, as well as tolerances for being (slightly) inconvenienced.

Ahhhh 2B young again: all vibrant & sexy - filled with adventure!! Definitely this intrepid duo is a genuine inspiration!! These kids & the doggy went super low budget, but their sincere enthusiasm is addictive. Not sure where they spent $6k on this simple build, unless he was paying himself a salary for labor? lolb... all in all different strokes for different folks. They're very happy with this basic build & that's all that matters!! Kudos 2 them!! Thanx 4 sharing! ! !
