We have childcare subsidies in the USA, too. When I was still in school, they paid completely for my 1.4-year-old baby; then, when I started working full time with my MSC, I now contribute $7 per day.
We got monthly benefits for feeding up to $1000 during COVID-19, after which I got $500 for 2 kids.
    We got free medicals too.
Now I am working and getting a good annual pay, I am happy to pay tax that can be accessed by others.
Just like you said, my husband and I used to work in the oil and gas as Engineers. Both of us paid close to 2m tax in 9jia, yet nothing came out.
    It is well ooh.

Here in Italy, we are being paid monthly child’s benefits for children from 7months of pregnancy till the child completes 21years. As a mother of 5 kids, my household receives 1700€ monthly. Most of the benefits you listed are also accessed here in Italy.God bless Italian government. I pray our Leaders at home learns from the whitemen and turn a new leaf. Thank you Neze for these enlightenment.

My church provided ALLLLL we needed in our new home. Everything, name it. I was given a list to write what we needed and while I was scared to pick big things, they said never, tick all you need. And they also included cash and grocery cards for us. My kids got toys, cloths. My kitchen is full of everything plus extra. Bread maker, automatic one o, me that like home made bread, it's bread every 3 days now, put the ingredients and time it go to bed and wake up to a loaf of bread,, aifryer, what I did not even buy back home. I regretted bringing beddings as I have excess. Me self am looking for whom I will be a blessing to.

Nigeria leaders are really exploiting the masses, especially the tax aspect. Taxes in Canada 🇨🇦 is high. However, we can see what they use it for, we can't say same for my dearest country "Nigeria ". Our leaders really need to do better and stop the exploitation, really getting out of hand. People are truly suffering and yet, the government ain't doing nothing and no positive actions in sight. It's such a pitiful situation. Nigeria 🇳🇬 is a blessed country with greedy leaders. God help us all.

Canada and USA are similar but not the same. In USA they don't have free healthcare you have to pay out of pocket or depend fully on employment insurance and there are too many shootings in the USA because they have a gun law. Also racism is on another level. There are more differences but that's just the obvious ones

In the UK child benefit os available but considered as ‘public fund’ so most immigrants don’t have access to it. Healthcare is considered free but it’s not because you pay some money for it when applying for visa. The parks are public amenities so anyone can access them.

You are right, here in the US, there are NGO's that provide clothing and temporary shelter, they help pay utilities also. There are several food banks where people can register to get free food. Thanksgiving turkeys, etc, are free at these food banks. The only state i am aware of in the US that has free healthcare is California. Healthcare is not free in the US except for those individuals below the poverty line or those who have no income.

    • @Messi_Goat33

Here in US, there is free healthcare for low income earners, food stamps, food pantries, daycare costs, childcare credits, lots of state sponsored direct credit monies, scholarships if you are in school, the lower income the higher award etc. am a beneficiaries of these.

Very informative video here, and thanks for always adding humor to your videos.

Hi neze! Would love to hear your honest feedback on the French Immersion Program of your kid's school. How is it going so far? What are the challenges of the program? We live in Alberta as well and I am considering french immersion for my incoming Grade 1. Thank you

Go for it. My kids started last year and it’s going well for them. It’s best for them to learn French as kids, rather than when they are grown.
