What a privilege to be able to see this rare early footage of SAXON. The early records are such absolute Classics of the NWOBHM era. Never seems like they get enough credit for the groundwork they laid with albums like "Wheels of Steel", "Strong Arm of the Law" etc. Thank you for uploading this!!!
I agree! They WERE great... But, don't forget, they also ARE great, and WILL CONTINUE TO BE great, because they're NOT DONE YET!!! the brand new album, "Inspirations" came out a month ago, cover songs to satisfy the soul, AND the new album of fresh original stuff will be released as soon as touring can resume... To be clear, that will be their 24th studio album, and I contend that EACH IS A FUGGIN MASTERPIECE, and I do include "Inspirations"! Peace, and Rock On! Love the Maple Leaf, brother!
I love Saxon so much

The young biff byford.
Correct. ✔️
Great band. Shame they don’t reunite. Though I like Glockler on drums but Gill put down some great rhythms on those early albums.
