That's odd. It's showing on Google - Been a long time since I did this review and i don't have an apple device anymore, so Haven't used it myself for yonks. Maybe your OS needs to be updated? Or you updated your OS and Veer VR didn't show up.
In my country its available for 3 dollars with remote, products with a little bit better build for 8 dollars but Google no longer supports VR services in android, most apps r outdated, still a lot fun to watch youtube in vr mode and can watch some movies and 360° videos in a close to 100" big screen is still a lot of fun, i hate netflix for removing the vr mode from android
Thanks for the video. Im a bit late to the party. I am looking for a cheap headset to try out for work purposes. Be able to use office or google docs. If I use it for longer than a day then maybe invest in the more expensive ones. Any suggestions?
You're pretty much stepping up from this kind of Google Cardboard inspired setups, to your Oculus Quest and HTC Cosmos level (just under $1000). Then another $1000 from there up to the premium headset range. So for Office and Google, hard to see it worth spending that kind of money. I'm just not too sure how the VR experiences for those apps go on a phone. If they work well, then something like VR Box 2.0 will give you a taste of what's possible for cheap.
You can't get Google Cardboard here in Australia any more, so can't do a direct comparison. Needles to say, VR Box 2.0 would seem to be the better option for me looking at the two side-by-side.
How big is the phone? I believe it's 6.5", right? Officially The VR Box 2.0 can fit 3.5''-6'' phone, but I got an iphone 12 pro in there which is 6.06". Still sounds like a53 will be too big.
No, I believe that is too big. Officially it can fit 3.5''-6'' phone, but I got an iphone 12 pro in thee which is 6.06" - that said, 6.67" is a lot bigger again. So I would say no.
Thanks KuyA. Not sure what phone you have and wwhat has been updated correctly, but Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Twilight Pioneers, Acron, Incell and Hidden Temple are worth a look.
Yeah they can use it - I'm not sure what the advice is on young kids and VR, but my kids use VR ok. I know Sony advices that you're at least 12, but I don't know why.
Hi Brock, I believe you can, but I suspect it's not the best experience as the lens is set up as if you are watching two screens at once (one for each eye) so you might not get the adjustments as good as just looking at the phone normally. You also can't reach the touchscreen once it is in the headset, so it's hard to interact with the program if i9t isn't working with the controller properly.
Hi GrimReaper - they don't really compare at all to be honest. This is a very cheap headset that uses your phone as the CPU and screen. The Index and Valve are expensive headsets that have their own screens and use your PC/laptop to power the experiences. In short, this give a taste of VR, whereas the more expensive headsets offer true VR.
Hi All , Just looking for the cheapest VR headset to use "fly" mode on Google Earth . ( meaning , just flying around 3D cities or places around Earth ) . Used to do it with the first gen Google Cardboard with the little magnetic gizmo on the side years ago ,,,, does Cardboard have a newer unit to do this ,,,, or do you HAVE to have a VR headset WITH a handheld controller to "fly" on Goggle Earth ? Any help appreciated .
Hi Kaa, sorry I missed your message when you posted it. There is no Google Cardboard (or Google Dardream) anymore. Headsets like this one rose to fill the space. Usually you don't need a controller as you can just move your head to look and the motion-tracking in your phone understands the movement.

No worries, definitely one of the best options in that ultra-cheap range.
Good review unlike all those unprofessional youtubers. Keep it up!
Thank you, much appreciated.
Thanks for this video i am now interested in this vr box
You're welcome!
Thanks i don't knowed that ty
Can I use it to watch videos with good quality
It will be the same quality as your phone can deliver. So if you have a powerful phone, it should look good.
@motivatedtravel i have never tried VR before so I don't know how it really looks like inside the headset
Is it available for iOS? How compatible is?
Yes it works with iOS phones as long as they are under 6" in size.
Can it work with iphone 11?
Hi Zuka - iphone 11 pro (yes), iphone 11 (just), iphone 11 pro max (no)
how about iphone 12?
Can u use it if u have one good eye
I don't think it would go too well - it's reliant on each eye seeing a screen to give you the 3D depth effect.
My phone is the size of this 163.86 mm tall, 75.51 mm wide, and 8.9 mm thick
Can it fit?
If can't ill use my old Samsung phone
May phone size is a 6" screen. So not sure what those sizes compute to, but if it's over 6" it won't fit sorry.
What app do u use again? On App Store? Mate I can’t find that app anymore VeeR VR

Why do you want to withdraw it?
I wanna ask...
Will s10plus fir there?
Sorry, but unfortunately that phone is a little too big for the VR Box 2.0
What games on iPhone possible?
Any iPhone game that is VR should work. The whole experience is run off the phone - the headset just holds the phone in place, basically.
How much does it cost now
I've seen it for AU$23 in Australia.
