Don't you just LOVE actually reading books from your TBR? I loved hearing your thoughts on what you read and am even more excited to revisit Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries! :)
LM Montgomery is one of my favorite authors! I love Anne of Green Gables a lot, but I think her Emily of New Moon series is my favorite. Weyward is on my TBR!
I looove Anne of Green Gables. Wanna read all the books in a series. I'm currently half through the first one in A Crescent city series and I'm not that into it. Like you said the characters are pretty shallow, the romantic line is very so-so, mystery line is even worse. And it's just the first book which everybody says is much better than second. I think it was a mistake to get a second book before I even started reading first😅
Such a good book and yes I want to keep reading the series too!! 😍 I’m glad you feel the same about Crescent City (at least as far as the characters/romance go). I did enjoy the first book for the most part and I thought the mystery was fun but if you’re already not feeling it, then the series may not be worth continuing with 😬😆
Wow what a great reading month!! I felt the same way about the Midnight Library - your comparison of it to the Seven and 1/2 Deaths is spot on! It felt repetitive and was hard to connect to the FMC. I'm really curious what you think of Crescent city 3 if you decide to read it! ☺
Such a good month!! I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels that way about Midnight Library, haha, I always feel weird when I don’t love a super hyped up book 😬 I’m sure I will read CC3 in the near future, against my better judgement 😆
Thank you!! I was considering maybe not doing the quotes because it adds some extra time but I’m glad you liked it. Haha yep, somehow I’m able to get a decent amount of reading done despite having a baby, a husband, a job, and somewhat of a life! 😆
@@ellenmadebookclub For sure! I need to get better at being concise though and shortening these wrap ups a bit 😂 Oh true I forgot about the cats! They basically take care of themselves as far as pets go haha
@@LibrariesandLattes I think you’re doing great! But I get what you mean about being concise, I struggle with that too. But it’s all a learning curve 😊 and for fun!
It’s so good! I mainly do Libby and Scribd (now Everand). Every now and then I’ll do a free trial on Audible but I’ve run out of those 😆 How about you, what do you have access to in Japan?
@LibrariesandLattes I've been trying out Audible but got a bit disappointed cause on top of monthly subscription you have to pay 15-20$ for each book you want to listen to. Some are free, but not much😬so I'm looking for more affordable alternatives
Hey, I also didn’t like “The seven 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle”. I wrote down main events and followed the chain from A to Z, watching what was happening through the eyes of the main character 🕵🏻♀ It was a difficult work 💪 By default, I thought that everything that was important would be shown to me. They showed it to me in one blurry shot and then they began to explain it to me after the fact.😠

It’s the best feeling, I feel so accomplished haha! And yay, can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it when you get to it! Thanks for watching 😊❤️
LOVED the six of crows duology! Sounds like a great reading month!!
I’m obsessed, so so good!! And yes it was a great one. Thanks for watching 😀
i've always admired Viola Davis so much! i need to add Finding Me to my audiobooks playlist!!
Yes please do, it’s such a good one! She’s amazing! 😀
I'm so glad you liked Finding Me!! And you're making me want to start Emily Wilde's books so bad.
Me too, it was just so good!! And yay, my plan worked 😈😂😂
Chain Gang All Stars sounds soo interesting! Definitely want to pick it up soon!
It’s so good!! Can’t wait to hear what you think about it! 😊
Chain Gang All Stars sounds intriguing! I also read Anne of Green Gables (a favourite ❤).
CGAS is very intriguing and a super thought provoking read!! Yay, love that and love Anne 😊❤️
LM Montgomery is one of my favorite authors! I love Anne of Green Gables a lot, but I think her Emily of New Moon series is my favorite. Weyward is on my TBR!
Love that!! I’ll have to check that other series out 😊 Hope you enjoy Weyward when you get to it!

Great review. 😊 It sounds like you had a very interesting reading month.☺
Thank you! It was a great month for sure 😊
I'll have to check out Weyward! Your review talked me into it. Thank you for the reviews!
Yay, I hope you like it as much as I did!! You’re very welcome, and thanks for watching 😊❤️

@@ana.b.readin haha thank you!! I hope so too! 😆
I keep hearing nothing but good things about six of crows, think I need to finally buy and read it!!
You absolutely need to!! My new mission in life is trying to convince people to read this book 😆
Such a great reading month! A few of these are on my TBR so I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on them :)
Yay! Thank you for watching 😊❤️
I need to read the midnight library
Do it! Definitely a worthwhile read, just not a top new fave for me, haha
The first one and the last four ones are on my long term tbr! Great reviews, I like the quotes, it gives a little taste. You read a lot! 😅
Thank you!! I was considering maybe not doing the quotes because it adds some extra time but I’m glad you liked it. Haha yep, somehow I’m able to get a decent amount of reading done despite having a baby, a husband, a job, and somewhat of a life! 😆
@@LibrariesandLattes Yeah it does, but a couple short ones here and there I think is fine. Good job ^^ not to mention the cats! 😊

@@ellenmadebookclub thank you! I’m just a rambler in real life and it’s even more apparent when I record 😆 But yes all for fun!
7 deaths is an amazing book❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely well written, smartly thought out, and had great atmosphere, just not for me overall 😆
@@LibrariesandLattes the reason they found themselves in that situation was a bit far-fetched though
@@Boris_sz haha yeah just a bit far fetched!!
I've had Six of Crows for a while and still haven't read it, but I think the time is coming soon 😊
Ooo yes please do and let me know what you think!! Hope you love it whenever you do read it 😊

Yeah exactly, it was very confusing and I couldn’t follow the thread very well… Good concept but just not for me! 😬
