I am going to try making pita bread for the first time today. Thank you so much for your video and instruction. I loved watching you make these- it reminded me of watching my Great Aunt cook when I was little. God bless!
the recipe looks great, just for clarification, you ise 6 cups of flour and 3 cups of water which would be in weight 600gr flour and 710 grams of water. your dough looks a lot less sticky and liquid that a 110 percent hydratioun dough.
Hi Laurent each country have different flour so you can start with less and add as it goes .Here in South Africa the flour we use 6 cups takes 3 cups of water .Have a blessed day
She used 6 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt( in my opinion, might be too salty), 2 tablespoons of yeast and 3 cups of lukewarm water.
I also have tried many recipes they ether come out flat or something. I tried your recipe and I may have done something wrong. Some of them came out flat as a pancake. I’m thinking it might have been the way I flatline them. Or the temp in the oven. Which was 500 degrees.Thank you for the recipe. Be well and God bless.😇
Hi Jose please follow all the steps and when you roll the bread make sure it is not too thin it must be 1/2cm the thicknees and you need to rest it .Make sure you oven is very warm and if your oven has a fan will help .You can also bake it using a frying pan .Have a blessed evening .
Can this bread be made with other flours? I’m allergic to wheat And gluten. Rice flour? Gluten-free flour. Tapioca flour? Anything but wheat flour!! Looks yummy❤

Hi! Thanks for the recipe! Can you please tell us the level or protein of the flour?
You miscalculated : 3 cups of water is approx 643g and 6 cups of flour is 1005g which is 64% hydration ✔️
@@audiegamra3909 8 cups of flour is 1000 grams equivalent to 1 kilo.
Thank you love😘
You most welcome
After the pitas have rested. Which side first hits the baking sheet? The top side or the underside while it was resting.
Dear Phylli any side .the idea is to rest the dough and have the shape you wanted .

Whoa that’s a lot of salt. Can I reduce that amount?
Hi the measurment must be 2 teaspoon of sugar and salt .
This is not pita bread, it’s called traditional Lebanese bread.
Dear Raymolly the traditional Lebanese bread is called Kebez Saj or Markouk it it is so thin and it baked over the Saj
