08:00 I grew up spending 90% of my childhood playing in the woods, fishing, camping, etc. and I've had my fair share of hearing something crunching around. There is _NO WAY_ you can make a distinction that a crunching noise is human or inhuman. That's ridiculous. There are very large animals that are capable of walking and stalking barely making a sound, and there are very small animals (such as a squirrel hopping in leaves) that can make a lot of sound, that can even unintentionally mimic the sound of human footsteps. Unless this guy was being followed by an elephant, he's full of shit. His girlfriend freaked him out and they panicked over some crunching that, if it was close enough to hear, it should have been close enough to see.
