  • Degen Darkside - My favorite DON'T Strategy
    Cold tables and Point Seven's are becoming more and more common. Check out this strategy at the $15 level as a way to try to beat the cold shooters where many other strategies would lose big!
    One of my favorite DON'T strategies to use at the casino. This example is on a $15 table since that is what I play on mostly, but can be adjusted for other limits.

    For a guy with a 3 month old channel, your dealing is incredibly fast and accurate. A couple of missed things (vig on a lay, 3 ways to roll a 4 or 10) pointed out by previous commenters, but that’s to be expected while you’re either still learning the game or just still a little nervous in front of the camera. With some small upgrades to your intro audio, this channel has the potential to be right up there with Color Up and the Casino Quest guys. Thanks for a great video!

      Really appreciate that Jeff. As soon as I posted the video and watched it back again I did notice those mistakes, but I appreciate you pointing them out. Helps me to get better as well as for those who are watching. Again really appreciate the support. Thank you

    Great video brother! 4&10s are 3 combinations a piece which equals the same as the 7! This strategy for a Cold table is awesome! I have one similar called the Grim Reaper! Appreciate what you do brother

    For a $25 table would you do: Don't pass $25, Lay 4&10 for $75, and $110 inside?

    • @DiceDegen

      That would be correct

    great video, I would lay enough on the dp to place the other numbers, the 4&10 wouldn't matter, now you have 5 numbers working for you.

    Easy to understand basic strategy

  • @JohnBahan
    @JohnBahan 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Could you still lay the number even though it is the point because on cruise ships odds are played differently than a land casino

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you could lay the number to compensate for the lack of odds on a cruise

  • @JohnBahan
    @JohnBahan 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Ok you get hit on the lay 4 twice do you go back at $150 or $200?

  • @tedberry1969
    @tedberry1969 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Just so you know - the VIG is paid on the win of the lay, the VIG is on the Bet of a Buy - so that should have been a $1 vig for the $25 win ($1 for every $20)

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes thank you for catching that. appreciate it

  • @ObsessedWithPool
    @ObsessedWithPool 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The question i have is: why lay on the numbers at all? The vig bleeds and each number laid gives another lose opportunity, whereas laying odds on the DP gets paid even odds, no vig, all that you need to worry about is the point and, depending on the point, the bet is cheaper to win the same.. ?

  • @JohnBahan
    @JohnBahan 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Question I notice you go up on the 8 & 6 $18 dollars but on the 5 & 9 you go up $20 not $15? Also if the 5 or 9 get hit twice would the next hit go up to $55 or to $50?

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Personal preference, you can press as you please. I would continue to press as the numbers hit while collecting at the same time

  • @garyanderson4451
    @garyanderson4451 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So the only flaw of this strategy is if the 4 or 10 come twice before 7. Would you double that lay again, as in $200 lay if you were down $150 on the 4 coming out twice? Or just take the loss?

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Usually go up on the lay once…if it gets sniped again I take the loss. Gets too expensive at that point

    • @garyanderson4451
      @garyanderson4451 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So you wouldn’t lay it again at all on the third time? I like this strategy. I’m just a little confused on if let’s say a 4 comes, $50 lay loses, $100 lay and then a 4 comes again. Would you lay it again at $100? Or not lay at all and take the loss for that shooter round until a new point is established next round?

    • @Lowstakesnlh
      @Lowstakesnlh 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I play this strat. If you wanted to go back on the lay for the 3rd time it’s 300 to break even just on your 4 so it’s not worth it. Just take the loss on the shooter and wait for the next person.

    I think you should have taken your odds down on that last roll after you won on those three place number hits...so in theory you should have been up $25 lol. Appreciate the video. Keep up the great work!!!

  • @JohnBahan

    If the 4 and 10 both get hit do you raise both to $100?

  • @anthonys6624
    @anthonys6624 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I like this. Good job. I'm a newbie to the craps game. Only thing I would change is pulling it all down. It's all preference but I would be fine with pulling the Lays but would regress to $66 and keep my pace bets out. From there you could press/regress or just same bet until the point is hit or 7 out. That last shooter was a good example of an additional $84 missed in the 6/8 being hit if you just same bet.
    Otherwise good stuff. I just want to know how you made your board. I want to do the same for home to practice and learn on with yours and other's videos.

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anthony, I will address the second comment first. I made a video on how I made my table. Take a look at that and let me know if you have any questions. As for pulling bets down. You could certainly keep them up with the $66 inside. If you do, just know that you would need 3 hits on those numbers to recoup most of (you would win $63) the inside bets if the 7 did come.

  • @Drew-dy4hc
    @Drew-dy4hc 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Good video but there is no such thing as a cold table. Each roll is independent and the stats are there for that one roll. I play the dark side primarily because it has a slight edge over the pass line

    You said that you double a 4 10 lay if it gets whacked but what do you do if it gets whacked again x2 ???

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I leave it at the doubled level and replace it.

    Could you put five on big red for the come out just to hedge the come out 7 roll ? Would that work ??

    • @DiceDegen
      @DiceDegen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could hedge the don't by hopping the 7's. However, you would also have to bet the 11 as that would be a hole on the Come Out role. If you wanted to hedge, I would recommend hopping 7's. for $2 each and placing $2 on the 11. This would result in a close to even hedge if a 7 or 11 did come out.
