She is in better shape than I am. I absolutely love that wood finish throughout. Really add class and elegance to her. She is one to be proud of. As always Nick thank you for taking us on a tour of her
It's normal for us humans to have nostalgia of the days gone by. But when you see such old school craftsmanship then the nostalgia is worth it. Magnificent wood work.
That boat is unbelievable, Nick. I grew up in Rhode Island in the late 1950s, early 1960s, and those boats were all over Narragansett bay, Block Island, Long Island Sound, and Martha's Vineyard. The wood work in the boat is absolutely amazing. They are built like tanks, and can take that North Atlantic weather. As a son of New England, it makes me proud to see such craftsmanship built into these boats.
Lovely comment! My home port was Essex, CT, and Hinkleys were some of the best boats for serious cruisers and offshore fishermen. This classic beauty evokes many happy memories of cruising New England and Long Island waters.
Stunning, classic work of art. The cherry wood is fantastic and looks superb. Great layout too. I’m very taken with that. I could live on that quite easily
Truly beautiful classic boat, clearly loved by it's owner. Designed for a different style of use from what we normally see. Probably not the best for kids romping around. Just gorgeous elegance.
I often comment on how an interior just looks like a fancy Italian hotel suite, instead of feeling like you're actually on a boat... THIS Hinkley is what it's like on a boat! Needs a mirror, though... can't get The Wave in without one!
The shape of the hull, pilot house and the walkways on the side put me in mind of a pilot boat, kind of like the Dale or Aquastar boats you've toured in the past, but all luxuried up. She's in such good condition that it is truly amazing to think that she's 22 years old
One of the best looking boats that you have done Nick. A really original and homely looking vessel. Oh to be able to afford something like this. Great review as ever Nick…
I’m amazed at the quality of the wood and its condition, personally I prefer teak but this is truly superb. The layout is simple but works very well, to me having a separate shower and head is a mixed blessing. I don’t know what the current options are but I think they have a classic design and there’s almost nothing wrong with it, I thought the wheel on the helm seemed odd but that’s probably just me. A second cabin is certainly something to consider but the ability to make it fit in and work well without any issues is a challenge. No matter how you look at it this is a fine vessel and will bring many hours of enjoyment at sea.
Beautiful yacht with some classic lines and style. I do love jet drives, so easy to manoeuvre. If I had that budget, doubt I’d get this though. Too many other options!
Really liked that Nick. In my dream, I would live in Kingswear and keep this in the Marina as a dayboat/weekender (trips to Salcombe, Fowey, Falmouth, Helford). Only gripe, I would expect high quality stainless steel surround hatches rather than the cheap looking Aluminium ones fitted here ....being picky!
What a glorious boat. Uncluttered and visually pleasing by its quality and simplicity. I loved the reassuring creaks in the cabin. What were they thinking putting the flowers and bottles on the table? A bit like plastering makeup all over the Venus Demilo. As ever thanks for the tour Nick.
Hi Nick. Drop dead gorgeous boat. Love love love. To hell with the guests... Haha ....bow rail would be nice for those afternoons when you've had a G n T or two.... Cheers. 🍸🍸
Actually, khakis and cashmere, with well worn deck shoes (sans socks), a smokey single malt or dark rum from your last jaunt to Foxys on Jost van Dyke.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but what a sexy looking boat built in the classic style absolutely stunning. If I was able to buy this boat or another second hand one I'd be happy and proud to own it but to have to buy one brand new I'd probably go for a Galeon 400 fly or similar, then again this would make me have a serious think about for sure. Nick as ever a big thank you for finding the good stuff and excellent tours, Nick I want to apologise to you for not replying to your reply from my comment on Wednesdays upload,I was a little taken aback and then got sidetracked as you do, normally people say in these times "oh I'm sorry to hear that" but not knowing the story behind what the hell do I know for all I know you might be over the moon because you escaped a life worse than death or something but that's for you to know,so I'll end with this, she seems a lovely lady and you did make a good couple but as we know things happen, I just hope for your benefit Nick it was relatively painless and that you are OK, all the best from Cornwall 🤗👌🖖
Mate what a thing. I'll have the glass partition option. Dare say the cost will be prohibitive, but i'll be robbing a bank either way so might as well get the whole lot, they can arrest me in style :) Such a smart idea to build a retirement toy. The yesteryear lines and materials, it's like everything below deck is one giant captains cabin. And not too expensive.
Cosmetically, this boat appears in excellent condition. That said, at 8:28, it shows a filter that was last changed in January 2019. I believe Yanmars have an oil change/filter change interval of every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. A coming up on five-year-old filter would raise some questions.
@Navy1977 Something didn't seem right. Hinkley's are well-made boats. This boat looks super, super clean, including the engine compartment. If I was considering buying it, that filter change date would be a red flag, particularly since the first set of engines only lasted 13 years. It would certainly cause me to ask some questions.

I've never known about these, but it blows me away that I saw one being towed down the highway yesterday and you have the video today!
No way! 😃
Nick, this one is the first one that I've seen where I can picture you and Marianne having a great time!
Wow, that's a real beauty!!! Such a classic look indeed, especially with all the woodwork.
I love the modern yachts but you have got to love a classic with all its fine lines
What a classic, a water born Audrey Hepburn. One of the nicest stylish boats you’ve featured in my opinion.
Perfect for river Dart and Solent cruising. A timeless classic, nice for a retired couple to go cruising around the south coast of the U.K.
There is one of these with the glass bulkhead moored next to my grandfathers boat, it's the most beautiful boat in the bay.
The lines. The layout. The colors.
Floating art...
Thanks to all involved in sharing this and Nick (I'll edit tat out).
I really love lobster style boats and Hinckley are right up there on quality. Thank you Nick for showing us around this beauty.
If you had not said the age of the boat in the beginning, I would have believed that it was a brand new boat. That classic design is just timeless.
Love this classic look, reminds me of Palm Beach Yachts….. a real gentleman’s boat - great video Nick
Stunning, classic work of art. The cherry wood is fantastic and looks superb. Great layout too. I’m very taken with that. I could live on that quite easily
What a sweetheart of a boat!Justthe thing for pootling down the coast
Gentleman’s cruiser indeed. What a lovely boat. I could sure see myself cruising in this one.
Beautiful construction, what an amazing boat! Brilliant tour thanks Nick.
My pleasure!
I think Nick is in love! Lol. Nothing could replace Smugglers Blues though.
Not so much replace as supplant (sounds so much more delicate) in the owners’ hearts.
Sheer timeless class, what a beautiful boat.
Truly beautiful classic boat, clearly loved by it's owner. Designed for a different style of use from what we normally see. Probably not the best for kids romping around. Just gorgeous elegance.
I like the latch for the cabinet being on the inside so when something in the cabinet falls and hits it everything falls out. Fine engineering
I love seeing American boats! This is such a classic design.
I often comment on how an interior just looks like a fancy Italian hotel suite, instead of feeling like you're actually on a boat... THIS Hinkley is what it's like on a boat!
Needs a mirror, though... can't get The Wave in without one!
OH MY! I love the classic looking boats!
Imagine cruising around on this beauty for a weekend 😍
Gorgeous and classy, who could want more.😊
I totally love it!! Utterly superb vessel, expensive, but superb. Thanks Nick.
Lovely and cozy classic yacht, and the woodwork is just lovely 😀 Its all about classic love on this one😆 Thanks 😀
That’s so beautiful nick ,I would love one reminds me of the English duchy boats
You are that gentleman, beautiful boat.
One of the most beautiful boats I've seen. Love it! That's a goal when I cant ride motorcycle anymore :)
A boat that looks exactly like a boat should! Classic and Class.
That's nice it's from my home state I love the woodwork how shiny I'm going to have to check that factory out one day
Beautiful, classic quality. I want one!
I love the squeaking creaking of the wood
That's a beautiful boat. Good size to be comfortable for a couple or a small family.
The shape of the hull, pilot house and the walkways on the side put me in mind of a pilot boat, kind of like the Dale or Aquastar boats you've toured in the past, but all luxuried up. She's in such good condition that it is truly amazing to think that she's 22 years old

Many thanks!
You guys have your widebody and narrow boats, we got the down east boats. I'll take ours. Thanks nick.
❤️🛥️❤️
Absolutely love this boat. The woodwork is amazing. Thanks for the tour!
I binge watch your videos ,love them👍.
Yay! Thank you!
Very nice, love the interior...in such good condition, obviously a loved possession. Thanks Nick!
What a classic beauty
I remember MBY wrote about one with a triple waterjet setup some 15-20 years ago, still remember that one so clearly.
A beautiful traditional boat, thank you for sharing
Our pleasure!
Great tour as always Nick. Gorgeous boat, just the right size for a couple for a week or two on the water.

Absolutely beautiful!

Hello Nick what an absolute gorgeous boat, very stylish and as you said perfect for two. 👍
Very nice boat! Thanks for the tour! 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@AQUAHOLIC 👍👍
Love Hinckleys! Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard are chock full of 'em. They don't exactly give them away, you know.
What a beautiful boat absolutely everything you need
What a beautiful boat.
Beautiful yacht with some classic lines and style. I do love jet drives, so easy to manoeuvre.
If I had that budget, doubt I’d get this though. Too many other options!
Just lovely. Thanks Nick.
My pleasure!
Lovely to see something different. Great job 👏
Thank you!

Stunning! Reflected in price tho 😮
Cracking boat. Would love one but need to decide which child to sell first. Great tour yet again Nick. Ta V much.
What a stunning boat, thanks Nick 👍
My pleasure!

She is a stunning boat.
Hi Nick. Drop dead gorgeous boat. Love love love. To hell with the guests... Haha ....bow rail would be nice for those afternoons when you've had a G n T or two.... Cheers. 🍸🍸
Do you have a boat? No, but have a piece of art that floats.
Nice tour Nick as always ! One clever guy that sir Isaac Newton 😂🚤
Have to agree a very good looking boat
Thanks Nick!
You're welcome!
Beautiful boat nick and good video 🛥️🚤⛵️👏👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Stunning
Very nice boat, classic!
What a gorgeous boat. I feel as though an ascot is de rigueur when onboard, with one hand firmly clutching a G&T or, in my case, a proper martini.
Actually, khakis and cashmere, with well worn deck shoes (sans socks), a smokey single malt or dark rum from your last jaunt to Foxys on Jost van Dyke.
Amazing boat
wicked nice boat

Beautiful boat. Reminds me of 1960s style boats one might see in a Bond film. Would prefer the more enclosed version were I in the market.
Now, THAT is beautiful 😊
A thing of beauty is a joy forever (Keats).
Please do a model from Zeelander in the future. Looks to be slightly inspired by this
Can we have a sea trial and a manoeuvring challenge to cap it all off 👍🏻👍🏻
Mate what a thing. I'll have the glass partition option. Dare say the cost will be prohibitive, but i'll be robbing a bank either way so might as well get the whole lot, they can arrest me in style :)
Such a smart idea to build a retirement toy. The yesteryear lines and materials, it's like everything below deck is one giant captains cabin. And not too expensive.
Great for a day run with small kifs ir the elderly. Theres so much space fot seating in the back.
Well that is just lovely 😍
Sweet boat ❤️
Like that a lot would be ideal for the loop
love it!!
I think I saw one in a Marion Davis film from the 1920's
"The Patsy" (Paramount 1928)
Thanks for the tip, going to search for that, love classic films!
will you be at Biograd boat show?it is on and will be till 29.10.
Gentleman cruiser indeed. They call him "The Commodore" he drives a vintage Jaaag.
Wow …what a beauty…. Love Jet drives…. Is that price of 750k for this model ….or a brand new one …🤔🤔😮😮😮 ….great job Nick 👍👏👏
Brand new will set you back just shy of three million...
Nice
Nice boat indeed! What's the function of the wooden bars above the portside engine?
Nick explained that, if I understood correctly, they are the supports for sun loungers you can set up in the cockpit - he pointed out the fittings.
Indeed! Didn't hear that! Sorry and thanks for the advice!
ALL a couple needs; nothing they don't need.
2:50 Nick is catering his OCD 😂
Nick, are there efficiency benefits from jets over shaft drives?

I went back to look, and I can't see the date, but I am on my phone - where, exactly, should I be looking?
