I live how her music was rock yet it had haunting instruments such as violins, piano, or orchestra instruments such a great combinition and this band did it so well! one of the best groups I ever had the pleasure to hear. to bad time rips everything apart.
I never realized how beautiful this song was until I heard it as an acoustic version. The rock version is still great, but you kinda want to headbang to it. The softer tone in this version makes you feel the emotion in the lyrics :)

This one allows you to feel the pain even stronger and hits harder. I love bother versions but I prefer this version
Not gonna lie, I love this version--Much more calmer, despite the original being powerful! Oh hell, I love them both! The original one is amazing, the acoustic is like a calming with an angelic voice heard on high that came from Heaven and put a smile on our faces.
The original has a really upbeat rhythm, shrouding much of the emotion. But it still held it. However, this version held something the original doesn't. In the original, you can't feel the melody rub much into you, but here the song is giving out all the emotions in the song.

So beautiful. This is better than the album version imo. I really like the new evanescence album, but I think that The Open Door was a lot better. Maybe its the sentimental value of it and how it brings back the beautiful things that were happening to me the most important time of my life, when I really discovered who I was and my purpose, to be an artist. but The new album just doesn't speak to me in the same way. Its still a great album, but I guess its hard to do better than a masterpiece.
